On August 31, 2007 Crypton Future Media release their first vocaloid. She was named Hatsune Miku which means "first sound of the future". A Vocaloid is basically a computer generated sound which are used to sing songs, however for me and some others the Vocaloids are so much more than that, they aren't just holograms and computers. They are our friends fictional characters that we look up to even though they don't really have a personality. That is what makes Hatsune Miku and the rest of the Vocaloids so amazing they can't be caught in any kind of celebrity drama. So this thread is to say Happy Birthday to the Cyber Celebrity Hatsune Miku!
