Team Matching!! (Batch 1)

Leena stepped onto the stage. This was the training arena of the school, and it doubled as an auditorium for whenever  the academy had special convocations or shows. Sort of like this one. Leena stood in front of her excited students, her ears folded down under a white fabric headband and her tail hidden behind her cape. She was told that she would need to hide her race for a while, just until the school gained credability. She went along with it, only because she understood it was the sad truth.

Either way, she held up her left hand so that the chattering students quieted down. "Welcome, Students of Syne Academy!" Her voice was amplified through the microphone in her right hand. "I am Leena Lilac, Your Headmistress. I hope you are thus far enjoying your time, because it's going to get a whole lot crazier. Today is the day we organize the teams!" The crowd cheered, even louder than before. They had apparently been waiting for this. Leena smiled as she began to explain the rules.


Okay! This is how this is gonna work! Roll the team dice in this thread and you will either get a 1 or 2. We will go through a series of rolls and re rolls until one side gets 4 members. The rerolling is done by the side with the most members. Have fun and good luck!

Veta stood lost in the crowd somewhere, listening rather attentively to the explanation. It appeared she'd been right in her belief from the rumors she'd heard and was going to be assigned teammates by the staff. Well... she supposed that was okay. She was still that goofy kid who hadn't had a chance to prove herself to the humans and even a large number of the faunus yet. Who would be the leader? What did Syne's team assignment have in store for the young faunus and her future teammates?

In the back of the crowd stood the silent Yuuki his smile on his face as usual, he didnt need to prove to these others about his skills. If it was up to him he wouldnt even join a team but since the head mistress was nice enough to allow a man living in the woods to join the academy. He was told to gather in the hall as teams where picked even not being in this school too long but he decided to go along with it maybe this team would allow him fill the thirst that his wires craved. As he looked around he saw one person who was already called for team one she appeared to be a Faunus a human animal hybrid and the love of them wasnt that strong making it hard to be liked by others. Yuuki knew all too well how that feels just because of his odd appearance and attitude around others.

The sounds of the crowd were almost deafening as The existence of Teams was announced. Liona looked up at her mother, Standing on stage with confidence and leadership. Liona could do without her Mother hiding her Faunus characteristics though. Oh well, the blonde understood why it had to be, though it was shameful none the less. When the speech was over, Liona stepped into the line of people, watching those who had gotten there before her begin to get sorted into their teams. There was some excitement, some dread, and even some excitement that turned into dread upon discovering their team and vice virsa.

Among the team seekers was Liona's Best friend, Veta, who had been among the first to find out where she was. Team number one. As Liona stepped up to find her fate, she wondered if she would be one as well, or if she would be stuck somewhere else.

Eli sat in the front of the hall listening to the headmistress give her speech. So she was to be given a team huh? Alright. She could use some friends to work with. Already, three people had gotten their teams. Veta and the other faunus girl she met the other day were two of them. And a strange silver haired man was the other one. Eventually, Eli was called up to the stage. It was time to discover her fate.

Arisa sat in the hall with the rest of the academy students, listening to the headmistress as she spoke. According to her the students were to be put into teams of four, something she was actually looking forward to. Although there were two people in specific she hoped she’d be able to avoid being paired with and those were the creepy man Yuuki that had appeared while she was out on her first hunt and the man that had treated her friend Veta like a scapegoat the other day. So far as it stood Veta had been placed on the same team as the man named Yuuki and another smaller silver haired girl. That made for a bittersweet hope for her considering she would have enjoyed being teamed up with Veta. She didn’t get much more time to think of it though as her name was next to be called to come up and find out which team she would be part of.

An announcement was given that the students should gather. In the gathering room, the head mistress gave a small speech. Randomly picked teams? A lot of the decisions about this school had been questionable, but he hadn't said anything. After all... he'd chosen to show up. He had to wonder though... Who would he end up with? What kinda people would they be like? Would they even get along...? That was his biggest worry. If they didn't get along... is group would be as good as dead during a fight with the Grimms.

Kicked out because of his love of drinking, Savalith was waiting outside the auditorium with his back leaning against the entry doors and a bottle of beer in his hand. Though Savalith isn't one to care about courtesy, it would be considered rude for him to enter into the hall now with a drink in his hand while the headmistress was giving an announcement, that even he knew. As a result Savalith's only option was to wait outside the room while trying to hear the headmistresses words behind the doors.

He himself didn't actually know why the students were called there today and if it was anything important. He drank a few sips of the alcohol and with that in his system he simply thought that this was just a welcoming students speech which he could obviously just ignore. Since he could barely hear anything from behind the door Savalith threw away his intention to enter the hall and instead decided to find a better spot to drink in. If anything important was happening then it'd probably reach his ears one way or the other.

Gisen had walked around the school hall, no real information gained over why she as well as the other students had to be gathered into the auditorium. She simply figured there had to be some sort of announcement or something that would need everyone to gather, so she simply shrugged it off an walked along to the place. The assassin had gotten to the entrance, but stayed rather distanced from everyone else, wanting to just see who had shown up. Being around so many people was uncomfortable for her, so maybe finding someone she knew or just sitting in the back would prove the best thing for her to be truthful and she had just watched as person after person walked in, though one had decided to stay right outside, though she had no idea why she simply shrugged it off since he wasn't a bother to her. Gisen watched as Veta, the pink haired neko she had now seen on more than 2 occassions had walked in.

The black haired girl then heard her name being called out from right outside, hearing the head mistresses voice booming throughout, she simply let out a small sigh and walked into the building and up to the stage, seeing two others she had seen before, but stayed quiet and to herself and simply stood in line. Hopefully the teams wouldn't be so bad.
