The blonde faunus responded sarcastically. Eli sighed and continued to organize. Does she really have to be such an asshole to someone who is trying to be nice to her? "I understand, humans were jerks, and some can be. But neither of us have done anything to deserve you being a jerk to us. So maybe, you can TRY being nice? At least until someone is an ass to you." With that, Eli silently worked on organizing and taking care of the dust. Making sure to be very careful with each vial and crystal. It was a nice distraction from her inner thoughts. She didn't have to think about the mystery surrounding her family, or that book she still has in her room. Or anything really. Just taking care of the dust and making sure it was all tidy. She wondered what the blonde faunus's response would be. Hopefully she wouldn't continue to be a complete jerk because Eli wanted to be friendly with her. But she HATES people who are complete assholes for no reason. It reminds her of her parents that abandoned her.

Gisen Ceostra
"I'm Gisen, it's nice to meet ya Veta." Gisen remained quiet for the most part, seeing no reason she should really speak aside for the greeting she had gotten from Veta. She wasn't someone who got offended more often then confused or distracted. Still, she couldn't help but be a little focused on the two faunus with the cat ears, as they were highly adorable. Though she had to wonder how they got those ears, or even if she herself could get a pair as adorable as they were, but she had snapped out of it as it seemed she was at this point ignoring people's words that may have been directed toward her. As she was offered to join them, it seemed she had formed a small smile and nodded. The black haired girl took only a couple steps before she had noticed people had already began to gather up everything. She had never seen this stuff being gather up into containers, and her curiosity just made her wanna watch them watch in a quiet manner with her attention focused on anything calling her out.
That however never seemed to stop when she had heard the smaller silver haired girl criticize the blonde haired neko over her attitude, only making Gisen blink in confusion. She had no idea what was going on really. The pink haired cat eared girl had seemed to try to intervene and get them to stop too, pointing out the teacher was there, but he had looked to Gisen and blinked a couple times at the odd, blatently lost expression she had on her face. "You have no clue what's going on child, do you." He asked her, leaning in as he asked to try and keep it low, though he had doubts it wouldn't go unheard. Still quiet, the assassin shook her head and her eyes peered over to him. "Not a clue." She replied, shrugging and looking back toward the others. "Are.. you two mad at each other over something? I'm kinda lost on why your rather.. verbally abrasive toward me." She said staring at the blonde haired girl.

Liona Mimiko
This Eliara girl decided that she wanted to pretend to understand the problem that Liona had with humans. The golden blonde Faunus took more than a little offense to this. How could this girl, this Human understand the pain and hardships of her people, when she herself only knew the half of it? And even that half had been hard and painful. No, she didn't understand, and she had no right to act like she did. To act like she was different from any other human in all of Remnant. Liona had little doubt that she or the other human girl were different. And then the Human with the Jet Black Hair acted like she had NO idea what the problem was between the two races. Was that even possible? Liona just stared when she asked, interrupted from her confusion by the first human.
When Eliara asked if Liona could at least TRY to be nice, The blonde Huffed, ready to send back a remark, but She didn't. She had heard Veta's attempts to calm Liona down, if only barely. Sighing, she gave Eliara a sweet smile that had 'fake' painted all over it. "Know what? you're right. I'll think about it." She then instantly turned her fake smile into a face of resentment, though not QUITE hate, before spinning around and TRYING to get back to work. She gave a lazy wave behind her indicating that the discussion was over, knowing full well that it would piss almost anyone off.

Veta Hunter
Veta decided to extract herself from the Eli and Liona conversation for the moment, actually hearing Gisen speak up. She scooted over there awkwardly and her left ear twitched in slight agitation. She was more than used to people who felt like Liona did, so it didn't bother her that much, and wished it wouldn't bother Eli so much either. "You mean... you don't know about faunus and humans?" she asked, blinking. "Well uh... long story short a lot of humans don't see us as real people or whatever... and a lot of faunus resent all humans for it. I uh... I'm learning to be comfortable around humans but I'm a bit rare I guess." She shrugged.
By the time she'd said that, Liona was indicating she was done talking and had turned around, looking at Eli's face, she went back into the 'fray' and tried again to calm them down. "Eli please..." she wasn't sure what to say. She barely knew any of these people but wasn't one to just sit on the sidelines and watch bad things happen. Not anymore. Her ears were in a position that suggested she was agitated or frightened of what was about to happen, and her voice matched it. "School hasn't even started yet do we have to fight?"

Eliara Caithe
The brunette had introduced herself as Gisen. Eli continued to put away dust as Gisen and Veta talked. Eli saw the blonde's fake grimace of a smile as she looked at Eli and sarcastically stated that she would think about it, before giving her a look of disgust before doing her best to ignore her once again. Fury burned within Eli. That racist JERK! Eli is trying to give her the decency of treating her like a person who deserves respect and she is refusing to offer even that. Instead of trying to make it so that both races can be accepting of eachother. This faunus girl was only going to slam the wedge between the races deeper in with all of her might. The very idea of that filled Eli with disgust for the girl. Eli gave no indication to the disgust or hatred though, shrugging and returning to organizing her dust. Eli was pretty good at putting on a false face for people, having to do it whenever her sister came to see her so as to not worry her.
Eli heard Veta behind her trying to plead with her. Eli just looked at the Faunus girl and smiled. "It's fine Veta, I don't want to start anything anyways, and it's obvious she's not going to budge an inch. As unfortunate as that is." Eli then returned to her work and prayed to whatever deities were out there to keep her out of that blonde haired faunus's team. They would not get along at all, for Eli already disliked the girl immensely. Not because of her race. But because of her pathetic intolerance for anything without animal ears and a tail. And her overall horrible nature.

The Glass Lion
The Glass Lion
Liona no longer had any reason to push things, and it was clear that the Human wasn't gonna let it go, judging by the way she was still talking about it to Veta, who was trying to calm both of them down. She doubted that Veta would make to much progress with Eli, who was admittedly already pretty calm as it was, but Liona decided to heed her pal's words. No use in losing a new friend over something so laughably stupid. With all the Humans that Liona could already foresee, she needed as many Faunus friends as she could get. With a sigh, she set down the last of the Dust Vials in it's appropriate place. she needed to leave, the excess amount of obnoxious humans in this small space was almost suffocating to her. In a class room setting, she was generally fine, not really paying attention to them and focusing on studies. Here, they were really just standing there. She wasn't even normally that abrasive toward the Human race, but there was something about this particular human that really annoyed her, she just didn't know what it was. In any case, Liona turned to Veta and bowed. "It was nice to meet you, but I should go now. I hope to see you tomorrow." She nodded to Professor Grashkil to show her respect for the authority figure. Her eyes grazed past The Black Haired human as Liona walked by her toward the door, and the cat took one last look at Eli before rolling her eyes and leaving the room. -exit- |

Veta Hunter
Veta was glad that the two finally agreed to stop bickering after a moment, also finishing up her portion of the Dust she was handling. She hadn't even come close to dropping them once she'd calmed down. Which was probably good. "It was nice meeting you too Liona. Sorry about getting you roped into extra work. I'll try and find you tomorrow if I can!" By then, Liona had said her goodbyes and exited the room, leaving Veta as the only faunus. That was something she was going to have to get used to, as far as she was concerned, but it still made her a bit nervous.
"It was nice meeting you too, Eli and Gisen," she said with a slight bow. She was clearly the opposite of Liona in her philosophy for dealing with people, especially ones she wasn't entirely comfortable around just yet. Also unlike Liona, she was willing to try, and believed these people were good people. "I should um, probably go find out if I can stay in the dorms a day early." she decided. She really didn't want to have to sleep out in the cold or something just for accidentally getting here early. "I hope we see each other again soon. Goodbye, Prof. Grashkil!" she waved, exiting the room with an energy even Liona had lacked in her hurry to escape the humans.
