Overall Personality: Lucy is quite the odd individual. She's one who is quiet, yet has a lot to say, aloof, yet surrounds herself with people. Enigmatic would be the best way to describe this young lady, who seems extremely observant of the world around her. Lucy doesn't generally do the approaching when it comes to people, they approach her, and when they do, it is said to be akin to being granted an audience by some queen. She tries her hardest to quell such sayings, however, for she too, is humble. All in all, Lucy's intentions are never known, but she's seen to be a kind individual once known, yet not many know her. Eager to learn anything about everything, she is one who never passes up an opportunity to gain insight on new things. Lastly, this woman is known to be a closed book. Stoic, yet amused, she only shows a persistent, soft, cunning smile upon her lips. However, when around those she's quite fond of, they're a introduced to a much more animated version of the royal-like woman.

History and Sample
- History:
- Born in Mistral, Lucy Colbatienne lived with her grandparents. Essentially abandoned by her real parents at her birth, the little girl was raised with the utmost care and caution by her grandparents. They didn't want her to turn out like her parents, who were reportedly really heinous people. Though, unfortunately, it appeared some of Lucy's parents traits had passed on to her. Her grandmother often stated that she had that same, cold look in her eyes, as if she looked down upon all forms of life. If it wasn't for the young girl's smile, she would have thought to be looking into the very eyes of that woman once again.
Lucy wasn't fazed by that, however, and knew who she was. Physically, she had the strength of both parents, the thought process and cunning of both, and the eyes of her mother. Many thought her to become the next great Cobaltienne killer, but once again, she knew who she was. The young girl ignored the adults who seemingly feared her and played with the children who had the sense to differentiate between rumor and fact. Fact of the matter was, Lucy was a nice person deep down and had only been lonely, because of what the people in her village did. However, she didn't blame them for anything. At the young age of 9, she understood what fear did to humans, what sort of cautions it bred in them. Thus, she “forgave” them in a sense.
Upon finding her weapon, Izanami, the young one sought out a teacher. A hunter who was once of an unsavory group, who tried his hardest to hide past from those in the village, served as her teacher. Lucy quite literally blackmailed him. She utilized her knowledge of his past (how she obtained it is only known to her) and had him train her in the way of the sword. Lucy took on quickly and appeared to have a knack for combat, something the hunter was rather impressed with. There was no doubt in his mind that she was huntress material, especially when at the age of 13, she was surrounded by a pile of Ursas. After that, there was only one thing on that man's mind. Lucy needed to become a huntress.
Teacher and student grew closer together and when her master, who went by the name of, Lee, suggested that in order to avoid becoming like her parents, she should have become a huntress of Grimm. Lucy hopped on the suggestion almost immediately, her excitement at its all time high. Lee was both happy and proud that in a way, he redeemed himself by changing a child with a slightly dark aura about her, into an eager young lady fit for doing right. Thus, for the next 5 years, he trained her to absolute limits…
During this time, Lucy had grown closer to another girl in her village, Nicolette Amber. They were best friends in the literal sense, surprising many who figured the girl a loner. The two trained and played with each other constantly, up until the last year of Lucy's training. Her best friend was sought out by Atlas and they were determined to take her in as a prisoner. Heartbroken to a degree (akin to a pair of lovers being torn away forcefully from one another), the young Lucy was in tears for the first time since she was a baby. Determined to make sure they'd remember each other, she created two trinkets to remind the two of each other. A coin that she had found off in a nearby forest, foreign, expensive even, had a hole drilled in it and a loop of silver woven through it, and given to her best friend. She herself had a headband with the same design of the coin and used it as a symbol. From then on, she constantly used that accessory and thought fondly of Nikki, who became her best friend and opened her eyes to what it meant to truly love someone..
Now a grown lady, Lucy Cobaltienne left her home country of Mistral and traveled to Bellmuse. Syne Academy had just been built and with their aggressive recruitment of potential talent, she used that as a chance to get in with her records. After being admitted, the huntress-in-training left. Several goals, only known to her and herself, Lucy steeled herself for the future...

- ”You know what you are?” The grandmother asked as her granddaughter turned her back on the house. The old couple didn't take the news of her becoming a huntress quite well. “You're just like your mother! You turn your back on family and are only out for self-satisfaction… Once she met that man, her entire world changed and now you? You're going to take on that same profession!?” Her words were bitter, tore at the heart, and stung the pride.
Lucy just smiled at her caretakers accusations and turned her head slightly to look over her shoulder. “Grandmother, I love you more than you know, but your words have wounded me.” She said, but that smile stayed the same. “You condemn me for something you have no information of. You rage at the future, because you're still stuck in the past… But I forgive you for that. Just like how I've forgiven you, grandfather, and the rest of the village.” She stated simply.
“You little harlot!” The grandmother spat. “Listen to yourself, condescending and believing you're something greater than what your parents are. Let me tell you straight, you're not anything but their carbon copy! Those eyes, your actions, your speech, all of it! IF it wasn't-” The woman was suddenly interrupted when her granddaughter drew her blade, Izanagi.
“Silence.” Lucy said simply. “You know nothing of me. If I were truly like my parents, I'm sure this village wouldn't have stood for so long. Every single one of you…” Her smile faded, as did her blade. It returned to its sheathe. “Are lucky that I've chosen a different path.” The young woman stated, turned her head forward, and walked off. Her ears became tone deft to the ramblings of her grandmother. She didn't need her or her grandmother's husband any longer. Just her blade, headband and knowledge...
