Overall Personality: Pale is a friendly and overall happy man that greatly enjoys his current position in life. Ever since becoming a instructor at Syne Academy Pale has retrieved the things he valued most, friends, family, and the means to better the world by offering his wisdom.
A fan of lazy afternoons reading or spending quiet time on his own, Pale never misses the opportunity to be around others. A lover of the little things Pale is at his most pleased moments when he is watching the students of Syne go about their lives happily and undisturbed by suffering. Always ready to help others or give advice Pale has become well known at Syne even in his short time at the school, quickly being identified as the teacher with too much to say and nothing better to do the man is either welcomed or considered annoying by those around him.
One little quirk about Pale is his love of answering questions with another question, something that drives those around him mad with annoyance. However like every man and woman Pale has a darker side to his personality, underneath the mans happy exterior lies a great sorrow of past memories, of lives lost and promises not kept. Because of this Pale tends to leap head first into dangerous situations with the hope of protecting others by becoming the target of danger.
Abilities
Aura type: Recovery
Aura Color: Milky White with black streaks or scars
Semblance:
- Pale Body:
- Spectral Clone Projection (Full): Utility: Pales Semblance allows for him to focus his Aura into a single giant projection of his body. This faceless man shaped clone, when fully manifested stands just over thirty feet tall and is treated as having a Str/Def rating of 10 but a Spt/Res rating of 1. The full version of Pale's clone forms itself before his physical body and requires complete focus for him to maintain, meaning Pale is incapable of moving, attacking, or defending with his physical body while controlling his fully realized clone. (40 Aura points a post.) (Max lift: 2500lbs.)
Spectral Clone Projection (Partial): Instead of conjuring his full clone Pale also possesses the ability to conjure only a single part of his body, most commonly one of his hands or feet. When focusing his Aura into a single appendage the spectral clone is reduced in size to a 6ft x 6ft floating mass of energy that moves in response to Pale's actual limb. This partial clone is treated as having Str/Def 6 and Spt/Res 1. This version of Pale's Semblance materializes anywhere Pale chooses within 15ft of his person, however the clone must materialize "before" it can make a attack. Pale is capable of moving and attacking with his body using this weaker ability, but his clone attacks count toward his total attack limit per post. (20 Aura points a post.) (Max lift: 600lbs.)
Each version of Pale's clone is treated as having a armor and weapon rating equal to Pale's own.
Pale's clones do not actually materialize with his weapons and are far to large to wield them.
Any damage done to Pale's clone is reflected on his physical body. Meaning he can be knocked out and killed by enough damage being inflicted to his clones. (Damage transfers to him.)
Item 1: Caster Cannon: A Sawed-off over-under Shotgun capable of firing regular and dust bullets.
- Castor Cannon:
History and Sample
- History:
- Born on the island of Bellmuse Pale was the first born son to a family of interbred Faunus and humans living in a small forest village to the north of the island. This village was a peaceful one living in seclusion to the rest of Bellmuse as a safe place for Faunus families. People from the village would only leave its borders twice a year on a local excursion to Bellmuse central for trade.
Pales people were a clan of dust harvesters, skilled in their craft they managed to fully support the village from their twice a year trade with Central. Because of they're seclusion the village required a means of protection from the islands local Grimm. This resulted in many of the villagers being practitioners of dust or dusters, the dusters would defend the village while the harvesters provided the villages income.
His parents both dusters Pale went with them on a trading mission one year to Central at the age of 15, during the visit the teen saw his first huntress. A delegation from Haven Academy had come to the island to recruit new students to become huntsmen in training. Having grown bored with the quiet life of his village and a experienced duster Pale longed for the school and the possibilities of new places and excitement.
The following night Pale had it out with his family over his thoughts of leaving to enroll, his parents outright denying him the right to leave. when morning came Pale's family had awakened to his absence, the teen having run off in the night to become a huntsmen. Haven became Pale's new home for the next four years of his life, Grimm hunting became a passion for the young man as he demonstrated talent in combat and dust use as a member of team B.L.I.P. During his time in Haven Pale began advanced studies into investigation tactics, hoping to one day return home as a policeman.
Over the years only Pale's younger sister Ivory would keep in contact with him through letters. It wasn't until one day the letters stopped coming that Pale became worried. Taking leave from Haven to return home Pale was informed in Bellmuse Central that the villages dust deliveries had been stopped for months, yet no one had gone to check on the village do to it being hidden in the north. Rushing home through the northern forest Pale was greeted by the charred remains of his village, nothing remained but shallow graves and blackened structures, even the dust mine had been destroyed, blown to pieces from some manner or another during the attack.
After hours of screaming in dread Pale began a investigation of his villages remains, hope returned as the number of bodies he counted didn't add up in his head. some of Pale's people had escaped... or been captured. Returning to Central Pale spent years searching for any sign of what happened to his family, eventually the man got lucky. Pirates from Vacuo had been asking questions about Bellmuse's dust villages before the attack years ago and Pale had finally found a witness.
Following a lead from the witness a old faunus man from Pale's village that had fled during the attack the huntsman traveled to Vacuo with a name 'Red Hyde'. During his time in Vacuo Pale learned of the notorious 'Hyde Gang' lead by Red Hyde himself. I took another few years of investigating and greasing palms but one night Pale finally found the gang. Purchasing a tip that Red Hyde planned to rob a small time weapons factory Pale sneaked into the factory first, laying in wait to capture the criminals and get the answers he needed.
That night the robbery occurred as planned, only Pale was there to stop it. Hyde's gang fought against the huntsman losing several members to his gun and dust-fueled attacks, but in the end Pale was worn down and beaten into submission. Red Hyde appeared than, a woman with flowing scarlet hair and deep brown eyes.Pale learned what he wanted to know that night, that a few villagers including his sister had been captured and sold as slaves across Remnant... Pale learned his right before Hyde put a bullet through the back of his head.
Awaking weeks later in a hospital bed in Vacuo Pale learned that the he had been found by warehouse workers, they had believed him to be dead. Doctors claimed the bullet had shattered against Pale's skull and cleaved the skin from the left half of his face, claiming his eye as well. After more weeks of hospitalization Pale received cybernetic implants in his skull and left eye, as well as a skin graft to cover the metal replacements. A large screw-like attachment was left sticking out of Pale's skull as a means to manually adjust his new eye's vision from far to close range.
Left to recover and adapt to his new implants Pale went on to be regarded as one of the finest investigators in Vacuo, having been the only person to track the 'Red Hyde' gang successfully if at great personal cost. Because of this pale received a letter requesting him to partake a career as a instructor of Syne Academy. With no place else to go and a new investigation to begin into the whereabouts of his sister Pale accepted the job offer.

- "It's funny... revenge proved to be my own undoing." Pale thought as he stared at the floor beneath him, blood formed a small pool under his face on the marble floor below. Limp and hanging suspended by two gang members Pale wished that he could simply fall to the ground, let unconsciousness collapse him into that pool of crimson but the strong arms of his captures kept the man hanging in suspension... awaiting his punishment.
"You know, I wondered who you were throughout the whole fight. It wasn't until you did that trick with the dust that I could place you, a Bellmuse duster." said a oddly feminine voice, its soft timber coming from just outside Pale's vision. Even as the beaten man was about to lose himself to the gentle lull of darkness he felt a slender hand grab his hair and roughly shake him awake.
Heels, crimson heels were the first thing Pale saw until his head was yanked back hard forcing his eyes to scan the woman before him. Red Hyde was not what Pale had expected or hoped, a monster or a beast of Grimm upon two legs. No the pirate was exactly the contradiction to that, Hyde was beautiful to behold, armed out in leather armor with knives and two pistols, yet the most striking thing about her appearance wasn't the flowing scarlet hair or the soft face, it was the woman's smile; beautiful yet empty.
"So what are you Duster? One of the slaves that escaped? No... I think I would remember a fighter like you. Your just a sad dog out for revenge aren't you." Hyde said mockingly into his face, no emotion other than satisfaction shine in her brown eyes.
"Where... are... my... people?" Pale managed rasp out of his dry lips, breath heavy from the fighting, than the beatings. Even as Pale managed the question however Hyde let his head drop as she stood back and laugh. "I think I know you, you remind me of her... the Faunus named; oh what was it.......... Ivory." Hyde replied after her mirth had played out.
At the sound of his sisters name Pale snapped his head up on his own, the simple movement took the very last of his strength. Seeing his reaction only made Hyde purse her lips into a tight smirk, "You want to know where she is? I sold her, wanna know who I sold her to?" Hyde asked leaning her striking face right up against Pale's bloodied forehead, the mans eyes begged for her to tell him. "Who cares." Hyde said before giving the hanging man a soft kiss on the cheek.
Pulling away her face away from him Pale felt the two men holding him release there grip, his face smacking nose first into the marble floor of the weapons warehouse. Pain flooded through Pale as he hit the floor, yet he lacked the strength to get up or even attempt to break his fall. Somewhere overhead he thought he heard a metallic click, just before he heard a loud BANG. Everything else went black.
