The new kid [Open/No Kill]

Sammey was hiding behind a tree in the schools Courtyard. She was new to the school and there were so many people, but her hiding spot wasn't the best places to hid do to her snow white and ice blue outfit and a ice blue bow and arrows on her back. "O-o-o-ok sammey it's-it's j-just like the-the co-combat school y-your-your be ok." *No you won't what i'm i doing here i look like i shouldn't be here. i'm never going to make any friends here.* her head drops "n-no you can do this, your a nice person sammey your make a friend in on time."  She than grabbed her lift arm with her right arm as she looked at her arm. Than a soft little breeze started to blow lightly moving her hair form side to side. She than just layed against the tree still holding her arm and looking down.

Soyata was walking in the courtyard, doing exercises and in general being him. He wasn’t there for any particular reason; he was just kind of there. He had just finished some push-ups; which really weren’t much of an effort at this point. The years of training helped with it, but also hurt him due to his lack of social finesse. Due to finishing aforementioned push-ups, he had gotten up. He noticed something he didn’t notice before, someone hiding behind a tree. It was a fairly small girl, but clearly an academy student. He knew they came in all shapes and sizes; even in all sorts of intellect levels, but this one seemed a bit too innocent. Much… much too innocent, so he decided, logically, to go and annoy her.

He jumped onto the tree in which she was hiding behind, and found the branch above her. He sat down on the branch, and with some skill, he hung by his legs, and smiled, “Heyo. Why are you hiding, you aught to get out and have some fun. Make some friends.” He had heard absolutely nothing she said… he wasn’t paying enough attention.

“Heyo. Why are you hiding, you aught to get out and have some fun. Make some friends.” Sammey jumped back into the tree than foreword hitting the guys head, Than falling back. "ow! She was laying face first on the floor , than she sit up rubbing her head "ow that r-really hurt." Sammey looked up and seen the guy again and jumped back. "S-sorry i-i-i didn't......Sorry yo-you ok?" Sammey looks like she was about to cry about something.

Sammey than slowly got up form the floor and dusted her self off, the whole time her eye stayed hidden behind her hair hinging in fort of her face. "S-sorry again for head butting you." *OMG! did i really did that oh i hope i didn't hurt him. I really hope he not mad, If you keep running into people like this your evenr going to make any friends." Sammey stood there waiting for the man to see if he's ok.

As their heads collided, he didn't move from his spot. In fact, he laughed. [/color=lightblue] "I'm just fine, that little headbutt was nothing really, I actually wonder if you're just fine. I have a hard head you know!"[/color] When he was done laughing, and continued, "I'm Soyata, nice to meet you. Sorry about surprising you though. That was my fault. I should have warned you. I'm no longer around my masters, I need to get used to that." He didn't frown, although it could been seen on his face that he wasn't quite all there. He really is never all there; it's not a thing he does. Even back in the temple he was never fully there.

Could he be blamed for it? Sure. Would he care? Nah, he has bigger fish to fry, really, he does. It's not as though he could pay any more attention then he is.

"Ahahaha!" Sammey than jumped a little and and looked up a little as she was still hiding her eyes. "I'm just fine, that little head butt was nothing really, I actually wonder if you're just fine. I have a hard head you know!"  She than rubbed her head a little *I-i don't know if having a hard head is good or not.* "I'm Soyata, nice to meet you. Sorry about surprising you though. That was my fault. I should have warned you. I'm no longer around my masters, I need to get used to that."

Sammey than took a little step back "I-i-it's ok........an-and i-i-i'm Sa-sammey .....ni-nice to-to meet y-you." She than grabbed her arm a little more tighter pulling it closer to her. Sammey head was still hutting and she felt and little light headed. "I-i-i'm going to sit down wo-would you l-lik-like to join m-m-m-me?" She than sat down next to the tree.

Sammey? Well. That’s an interesting name, at least, that’s what he thought. He didn't know many people named Sammey, actually, none beyond this new person that he just met. He was offered a chance to sit down with her so he figured why not? Why shouldn't he sit down and relax for just a moment or two or three? There’s no harm in it for the most part, and even if someone came to attack; well. That he’d have to figure out then. He decided to be extravagant when getting out of the tree as it was his style, really, it was.

"Alright, let me get out of this tree and then the magic will happen, I assure you." He then, with all his leg muscles, lifted himself up so that he was sitting on the tree branch, and the stood on it, and then announced, "I shall do a triple backflip and then land on the ground scot-free!" He jumped, then jumped slightly back, grabbing the branch he was standing on, and started to swing around the tree branch, around and around. He went around three total times before letting go and starting his front flips.

He did 2 and a half flips before landing on his face and staying there. He wasn't going to move until she came, or if she didn't come over, he'd sneak up on her. All he knows is that it hurt. Just not as much as Master Soyatas stave hits. Those hits hurt man. They hurt.

As Sammey sat down than than Soyata  said "Alright, let me get out of this tree and then the magic will happen, I assure you." Than he stood on the branch and announced something "I shall do a triple back flip and then land on the ground scot-free!" Sammey looked up at him *Huh why? is he try to show off or something?* "G-good luc-luck." He jumped, then jumped slightly back, grabbing the branch he was standing on, and started to swing around the tree branch, around and around. He went around three total times before letting go and starting his front flips.

*Didn't he say he was going to do a three back flips?.....so why is he doing some front flips?* He did 2 and a half flips before landing on his face. Sammey than got up and slowly walked over to him "Ar-are you o-ok?" as she held her hand out to him.

He turned his face from the dirt, and roll his body so his face and body was facing outward, and did a little kip-up to get up. The apparant care for him was even noticeable even to Soyata, which was saying something yet not saying something. "I'm fine, don't you worry. I've hit ground much, much harder due to master Kyle. I must admit, my thoughts got jumbled and I did the wrong flips therefore failing at doing three. Seriously though, I'm just fine, really... really, i'm fine. I'm being honest, don't you worry." that last you sounded more like Chu, but hey, it was something. He was far too tough for his own good, but he could honestly blame Kyle for that fact. If it weren't for Kyle, he wouldn't be nearly as tough.

He couldn't be bothered make sure the ground was okay. Well, he wasn't quite all okay, his face was a bit cut up on the cheek but that was it. It might worry someone like Sammey, but he wasn't worried about it at all, really... it was nothing to him.

Soyata than rolled over to his back and did a little kip-up to get up. Sammey than took a step back to give him some room to get up. "I'm fine, don't you worry. I've hit ground much, much harder due to master Kyle. I must admit, my thoughts got jumbled and I did the wrong flips therefore failing at doing three. Seriously though, I'm just fine, really... really, i'm fine. I'm being honest, don't you worry." Sammey wasn't too sure if he really was ok he seemed to be kind of out of it. *That master Kyle sounds kind of mean if he or she made Soyata hit the ground harder than that.* She than looked up at Soyata to he got a little cut on the cheek. "O-oh no y-you get a cut on yo-your cheek." She than pulled out some thing to put on the cut and walked up to Soyata .

His eyes glanced at his cheek when she said it was cut, and he laughed a bit more. He was in an awfully good mood today, for some odd reason. "Is it now? I suppose so. It's no bother, and please don't try to treat it, let it heal, it'll be fine." He smiled a smile that was quite genuine. It really didn't register that much on his scale because of his training, and his fights to the death. You'd really be surprised how honest to god a genuine man he can be if he wants. He'll fight for what he wants, it's what he's an expert at anyhow.

He stretched, and said, "As we were, Sammey." He was trying to decide wether or not to test this girls reaction speeds. It was so god damn tempting to do so, really, it was. He decided against it for awhile.

Walking back from training at the arena, having sparred with a few people that were there and practiced on his own, Nero had sweat dripping from his body as his sweaty black hair hung from his head, covering parts and pieces of his face as he entered the courtyard. His black shirt jacket covered most of the sweat from his body, but not the center of it; his black pants, held together by his black belt connected by a white wolf pendant, didn't help with his situation either as Nero trudged forward in his steel-covered combat boots. Nevertheless, the practice was well-worth it. He'd continue training if his body allowed him to do so, but then again, breaks were always a necessity.

The courtyard held quite a few people there and there; there were two students in particular that were somewhat strange. They were hanging over at a tree, then maneuvered their way to a bench; it was strange to watch them do so, but then again, they were the more interesting two over girls or guys talking about their plans to do whatever stupid things they did. Those were the type of people that annoyed Nero, but nevertheless, he simply just stayed away from them and stood amongst his own crowd. Continuing on his way, having taken a sudden interest to the two, Nero took a seat on the edge of the fountain, the more relaxing place as he kept his eyes on the boy and girl, watching them and subsequently listening on whatever conversation they had; however weird it might have been, Nero was simply interested in them.

"Is it now? I suppose so. It's no bother, and please don't try to treat it, let it heal, it'll be fine." Sammey than stopped "Oh o-ok than."  "As we were, Sammey."  Sammey was putting the stuff away she looked back at a little lost "Hmm ok." That was all she was able to really think of, so she sat back down but she missed the tree and fail onto her butt and than fail backwards. "Ow!" As she sat back up rubbing her head and her butt form the look on her face it looked like she was about to start crying.

Than she just so happened to look off to the side and seen a man sitting on the edge of the fountain. It looked like he was looking over at them or something. Sammey than looked away she didn't want anyone to think she was be nosey so start a fight or something.

After she tripped, he looked around. It was habit just in case someone had thrown something or such, you’d be surprised how often that happens.He wanted to laugh, but would feel bad if he did. He saw a fellow on the fountain, and waved him over, he looked like a capable fellow, and then he decided to see how Sammey would react to something… very specific. He leaned down next to her chin, his face near her cheek, and he planted a small kiss, a peck really, there. He’d smile no matter the reaction, but first he’d hop back so just in case she smacked him across the face. That really wasn’t high on the list of things he wanted. He figured that she might not kill him if it was completely innocent like that one was, but she was also shy so he had to be sure that she didn't attack him.

They took notice of Nero quite quickly; then again, he wasn't being quite secretive about it. He was just staring straight at their general direction throughout their entire interaction, so, to most people who had at least some kind of sensibility, that sight was a clear sense of either stalker or a person who took interest in whatever he was looking at; Nero was the latter. Nonetheless, with nothing to do, and having been gestured to join the two, Nero shrugged his shoulders calmly, standing up from the fountain as he made his way towards the two with his hands dropped into his pockets. At least his breathing was recovering; it was quite close to a normal pace, so Nero could've handled another struggle if anything came to that; however, what came next surprised the approaching boy.

From what looked like two new friends came the sudden thought that the two could be a couple; the boy was quite aggressive, giving the girl a peck on her cheek that seemed almost out of nowhere. If anything, if things had gone bad, then Nero could've stepped in at any time, aiding the side he thought was right; right now, he was more on the female's side than anything. But, at that moment, Nero didn't know who he'd be more comfortable with, so he continued on his way towards the two, dropping a sigh as the previous moment took place. "Hey," Nero plainly stated as he stood before the two, scanning their clothing, expressions, appearance, pondering to see if he wanted to spend a moment longer with them. For then though, Nero was okay with the two.

Sammey had her head still down when she seen someone leaned down next to her chin, She didn't know what to do. *W-what do i do do i run or do i-* Then she was kissed on the cheek, than she just got red and she didn't move. *W-what just happen was i ki-ki-kiss-kiss-kissed!? What!? why!? who!?* She than slowly turned her head to the side and seen Soyata standing back. Sammey got up with her head down and started to walk away fast only to run into someone and fall back once again. "ow! n-not again." If she wasn't red before she was now.

Than she looked up to see another man there "Oh so-sorr-sorry i-i-i di-didn't mean to run into you." Once again not make any eye contact, and once again looking like she was about to cry. *Why!? why do i keep running into people like that?* Sammey wasn't too happy right now.

He did smile, broadly at that, and then laughed as she became red. He laughed even harder when she ran into the fellow he called over. He laughed hard enough he fell backwards laughing. This was almost as funny as when Master Soyata tried talking to a girl to teach Soyata himself. That was something he loved to remember. The attempts of sociability from his masters. They were humorous because the only who often won was Master Soyata, and even then that was rare enough that often to the temple was maybe 1 in 10.

He stopped laughing after a moment, and laid his head down, and giggled a bit more. He was laying on his stave, which meant he was lying on his back, and was honestly waiting for the mans reaction because of what he did. He found humor in it purely because he didn't have much else to do... and this Sammey girl was funny.

Could Nero really blame her for her for not paying attention to where she was going? Of course he could, but then that would only cause problems between the girl and him; Nero still had a heart, even though he didn't show his emotions often, other than his common, cold, passive-aggressive nature. Having felt the gentle and small force, Nero watched as the girl fell down on the ground. Expressionless, calm, and collected were all the words to describe his look as he stared down at the girl. She was frail and gentle, even her voice added to that description when he heard it. Was he really going to berate this one small girl for having become too emotional over such a situation? Yes, and no.

Bending over, placing his hand out to help her up, Nero kept a calm and collected face as he stared down at the girl. "You should really stand up for yourself," Nero stated in a calm, somewhat berating, but also considerate tone. If she allowed herself to be bossed around all the time, just like that sudden act only moments ago, then she probably would never get anywhere in life. However, once she was on her feet, Nero glared straight at the boy who was laughing his pants off. Be it prank or not, Nero only saw a girl who was about to cry and a boy who looked like he took pleasure from such harassing actions. Nevertheless, Nero was ready for any open confrontation; his breathing was already back to normal, and he was never one that enjoyed jokers.

Sammey wasn't feeling to hot with Soyata started to laugh at so hard he fail over. She than dropped her head than some one hand came in to view. Sammey looked up to see the other guy there "You should really stand up for yourself," Once again she looked down and took the guy hand and got up for m the floor. Soyata was still rolling on the floor and the other guy was looking at Soyata and din't look too happy, but than again he didn't really look happy or mad to begin with. Sammey still looking down try to ask Soyata if he could stop laughing at her like that. "Hmmm Soyata ca-can yo-you plez stop or i'll hmmm i-i'll.....i'll most l-likely keep asking you to stop till you do." That was the best thing she was able to come up with, something a six year old would say to someone.

Soyata frowned as he remembered a phrase said by master Kyle.

'YOU WANT ME TO STOP HARASSING YOU? STOP HARASSING OTHERS!'

The color drained from his face as he remembered the monster of a man, and his words. He stayed on his back. He completely forgot most of Master Kyles lessons. He liked to forget them. Kyle was a cruel and angry man who abused Soyata while training him. It was not a fun time. He decided to mumble something.

"I'm sorry."

This was mumbled because he didn't want to say it, but he felt as though Master Kyle would hear nothing and suddenly break through the wall. There wasn't any red faced, there was more a frown then anything that sprouted any negativity compared to anything else. This couldn't be worse, and it wasn't even that this other fellow was big enough to scare him. He clearly wasn't Kyle, but he looked fearsome enough that Soyata wasn't going to just attack him.

It was a weak, almost negligible request from the small girl. Nero sighed to himself at the clear shyness of the girl, wanting her to be tougher than that, but it was most likely her own personality that she created over years. A demand to be strong when one was weak would be deemed by Nero as almost impossible, and for that frail, shy, gentle girl, Nero only enforced that thought in his head as his glare continued to focus itself on the ever-so-calm boy who continued to rest on his back with almost no care in the world; his mouth even moved, probably saying something close to an apology but inaudible to most ears.

With a sudden cry to the lying boy, Nero stepped forward, slightly in front of the shy girl to clearly assert what she wanted to say, or at least what he thought she wanted her to say, just more aggressively. "Speak up, stand up, and look her in the eye if you want to say anything." His eyes stayed locked on the boy: alert, aware, and strong. Nero didn't know what kind of relationship the two had, but he wasn't going to just let someone cry and be humiliated and laughed at without any type of argument.

Soyata than stopped laughing at her Sammey was happy he did. She felt much better than she didn't feel like she was being picked on. Than Soyata said something but it was so low that she didn't hear it too well so she guessed he said sorry but she wasn't too sure. Then Nero stepped forwardand stated to say something before Sammey was able to say something. "Speak up, stand up, and look her in the eye if you want to say anything." It looked like Nero was about to fight Soyata "Hmmm I-its ok place don;t d-do it again, or i-i'll tell my sister on you."

Sammey that thanked of what she said and the sad thing is that was all she had come up with. *Is that really the only thing i came up with?......I soo going to stop that.....maybe .....hopefully i still don't know."

He kipped up, looking at Nero, and then at Sammey, and said with a completely sollmn face, "I'm sorry, yo." He then took out his staff, and placed it on the ground. He put his hands up and then said, "Sammey, hit me once in the chest, yo. Just so that I can feel justified in saying sorry." While that logic was backwards for some, it was right-way-up for Soyata. He couldn't help it with how he was raised. If Sammey didn't punch him, he expected the bigger, stronger boy to punch him, so that he still felt justified, however, if the bigger boy punched him, he might actually want to fight him which is never a good thing. Never ever a good thing if Soyata wants to fight you. He only means well when he fights, and by well, he means to get you stronger and not at all to kill you, yo.

Having been scolded by Sammey, Nero sighed to himself, slightly disappointed in both her and himself: her in the sense she wasn't totally standing up for herself and himself in the sense that he was acting too harsh, based on Sammey's kindhearted, pure, and innocent response. Despite wanting to help Sammey stand up for herself, Nero tended to his strong-willed and aggressive side more than his passive, considerate side, but either side didn't stop him from trying to help others. At least, Nero, in this case, devoted himself to trying to protect Sammey or at least stood up for her.

With a cross of his arms, Nero stared off to the side, away from the two of them as he heard the boy's proposal; Nero didn't think bad of it though. He generally thought that it was a good self-confidence building exercise for Sammey if she was up to it, but that was entirely up to her. Nero wasn't just going to step in anymore and tell her to punch him; after all, Sammey seemed confident in her sister being able to handle certain altercations, and Nero, honestly, didn't want to deal with that.

Sammey was starting to get a little upset with Soyata than he stop and said sorry. She was happey then we stopped but what he said next just was something she even heard some want the to do. Soyata wanted her to hit him in the chest but just one time. She than turned to look at Nero but was off to the side and looked a little upset about something. She than looked back at Soyata she didn't want to hit but she also didn't want him to feel bad as well.

Sammey than nodded and and took a step back a pulled her arm back as far as she could. She than give it everything she got into the hit but was knocked off balance and fall to the ground. She still had her had her arm out and hit Soyata's no no's with everything she had.

He saw Sammey wind up her hit, and was racing his gut and or face for the hit. But what he didn't expect, and for good reason, is for her to fall and hit him in the head of his private areas... in which he felt pain flood through him at which he fell backwords, hands over his privates. He didn't dodge because he didn't expect it. Not even his masters hit him there. Not cool, but then again, he figured it wasn't meant... at least he would if it weren't for the fact that pain was pretty much all that was on his mind. The one part that didn't get trained. Could he blame his masters, it was the man code not to hit another in his privates, but then again, Sammey was not a man. She was a girl, and a smaller one at that. He should have expected this, but did not.
