Likes:
- Strategics are her main focus in combat and normal situations, though what she may do with the information may vary, she still is a very thorough person with her planning.
- Silent observations are a key part to her strategies, and in which case Airi considers herself to be better suited in teams to help find commonalities and build trust and bonds to teammates or others as well.
- Duty is a very big part of her enjoyment of life in itself. She loves to be duty bound and its such she chooses to be a maid, as it's always a desirable position.
Dislikes:
- Grimm for most reasons she hates because of what they've done in changing the way humanity could live, however she does understand their reason for existence and why they exist. However, this still does not change her dislike of them.
- Brash/Arrogant decisions get people killed. She had seen it too often in her lifetime and she refuses to let that happen to her.
- Surprises... Are a no. If you value your life or something precious to your body, you would refrain from jump scares, pranks, and the like.
Fears:
- Being found to be a Faunas is something Airi has hid her whole life. Despite certain aspects of her personality and appearance, she cannot help it.
- Enslavement comes naturally to her as part of her more animalistic tendency to want to be left to freely do as she pleases. Many might claim that her job of being a maid is slavery, but Airi believes since she enjoys it that she is doing it of her own volition.
- Claustrophobia has been a childhood fear of hers. As a child, she was once scared and ran into a closet for safety, where she was tricked and locked in for several days before she was let out.
Overall Personality: There are times in which Airi is a calm easy going person, and then there are those in which she is headstrong in combat and determination rears a more aggressive and animalistic side of her. On normal basis', Airi is an easy going a calm type of person. She adores her services of being a maid even as being a student in the academy as well. She will happily take just about any order relating to a maids job without a problem. She does enjoy to dress herself otherwise, sometimes in cases of her classes Airi may choose to wear more formal and older types of clothing with an utmost enjoyment. She is genuinely a caring person who loves to help people with any problem they may have and would go out of her way to help anyone out without hesitation or forethought.
In combat Airi is almost a different person varying on if she is fighting in the front lines or if she is just doing her job first. Her job is strategies and battle tactics and she may sit back to gauge reactions, movement patterns, any exploits she or a team may be able to use. Airi is more of a follower than a leader in combat, but is willing to lead if she knows enough to help overturn a battle for the better. Her more animalistic side shows itself in combat; her eyes show a feral nature to them as the sight and scent of Grimm show itself, which is uncontrollable to her. For example if she had met someone who had just recently killed a Grimm, said feature would appear. She has naturally the scent and hearing of a wolf, given her childhood nickname of Lupus, the Latin term for wolf.
Abilities
Aura type: Power
Aura Color: Gold
Semblance: Hidden Blade: This semblance works by using the power of multiplicity in weaponry. The user molds a single weapon using their aura to create more identical copies of said single weapon type; a throwing knife. The multiplicity takes 20 aura for every 10 blades made (2 aura per dagger) and cannot exceed the number of 10. The power in which the semblance uses derives from the users strength, rather than their spirit.
Item 1: A simply throwing knife, still capable of being used in melee combat. It is roughly 8 inches in overall length.
Item 2: Work attire; a maids uniform fitted for combated purposes it acts as an armor for it's more tough yet light materials towards physical attacks.
History and Sample
- History:
- Airi comes from a rather respectable household. Her family for generations were the favorited staff of a more famous family who ran international businesses, lived in a luxurious home, had money to spare enough in which they could wipe their rear ends and not have a care in the world otherwise. The rather large mansion had its own guest house of a rather extravagant Dutch Colonial which sat behind the gated mansion and it seemed better off that way. Overall 8 children roamed between the two houses; 5 belonged to the mansion of the employers while the last three served as hired help. However as all good things are, there are dark secrets to it as well. The sub household had been in a bit of a subtle conflict. Airi’s mother, sometime after her father passed from a heart attack at a somewhat common age for men, she met a Faunas and the two had fallen for one another.
Under normal circumstances, there was no issue with this, however this is where the dark secret would present itself. The main house had a rather spacious area of the house in which they never accessed. They had many Faunas servants roaming around that did the more tedious work while the subhouse, or Airi’s family in this case would do the servicing for the family directly. The group of Faunas had served as literal slaves to the household. They lived in the basement, fed 3 nice square meals, and forced to work day and night. In some years after the pair had come to bare the child in which Airi had come, the father had been discovered to be a runaway, and as a result her child had to become a fill in once she was old enough to comprehend an order. Once she was well into her 6th year of life, she was taught by her mother and two older sisters lady like manners, respect for others, and how to be a good maid.
It all came to be a rather instinctual thing she had quickly adjusted to, almost enjoying her time being the household maid. She was even let to entertain the other kids by playing with them, and they would often play hide-and-seek, tag, or other games. One day, they decided they would play hide-and-seek, letting Airi be the one to find them, they all hid. The little girl began to walk around the mansion, looking for them but couldn’t seem to find any of them. The silver haired child took a peek into an open closet, hanging half way in when all at once the loud shouting sound of “BOO” made her scream and jump into the closet before they shut her in, locking it with a key and with childish little giggles, they ran away while she beat on the door and screamed for someone to open the door. She sat in there for several days, sobbing, hungry, but she found that she could see completely fine in the dark with no obstruction to her sight what so ever. Her senses seemed to be rather keen as well and looking around, she placed an ear to the door.
A child’s voice! She pounded on the door only a few times before her hand crashed through the thick red wooden door, scaring the child and the older company. As they tried to open the door they found it to be locked and a sobbing child begging for them to let her out. It tok only a moment before they came by and opened the door, letting her out into the arms of the father of the children, hugging him tightly while crying in his suit. Her grip and strength were wondrous for someone her age, and he offered her the chance to learn how to fight and be brave in return for the heinous act his children did, as a repayment and for guilt assuring purposes. She didn’t hesitate in taking the offer and after only a day or two, a Faunas heavily built, dressed like he was secret service for the president or something. He had bull horns and a nose ring as if he was trying to be a real bull, but the child never questioned it.
For a few years he taught her to fight, to take precedence in other things to cope with her lack of melee combat, she was more so skilled with ranged typed things. Dust was out of the question in attempts, she could not master how to use it, but her research into how they worked and all got her instructor to think. He took the child a different route. He focused on her ranged capabilities, her speed, and her strength as well as her mind. Airi had had a sharp mind for a child, using the focus and her bit of quiet nature to her own future advantages, she became adapted t strategy combats rather than straight head on ones. It took a little while, but it seemed as though her training spots ventured further and further from the houses and after a while she finally got to ask him. He mentioned it to her, but that she was in fact the daughter of a Faunas and in knowing what the house did to them, she had to conceal the fact her more animalistic nature could end up making her one of the more “forgotten staff”.
At first she hadn’t believed him, but later in the day when she privately confronted her own family did they agree to it. They mentioned him running away, to try and live freely and that she could see him if she wanted. She hid for years where he lived, why he left, and his very existence. Normally a child would be upset, but in taking the time to realize why, she came to the conclusion that she loved her mother more for that fact and that she was grateful that they both cared enough to want to let her enjoy her life. Sending her off, she met with her father in a distant area from where she was from, and her father had taken some time to catch up with her life before she would offer her a chance to further her knowledge. He signed her up for an academy not far from where they lived, and she came to join quickly and eagerly, with the side job of maid services. She couldn’t give up something she loved and found enjoyable like that, nor did the school give up the idea of having one.

- The days and nights were starting to feel like they were getting to be switched, or rather she was so used to them lately with the number of requests she had done in the past few days and with her being adjusted to night and day in them both her body time clock for sleep was thin and weary, but her activity had kept it awake and running well. Her mind was still a hazy puzzle. She didn't really know what to do about a lot of things, and it was only worse now that she knew what Eli's little secret was with her. She didn't think that of all things was apart of it.
But aside from that, the little bits and larger pieces missing from her memory, the anger and frustration with this so called "guild", and the worrying of what she was able to do scared her a little. However she had also had her overbearing bit of guilt of it all as well. She still couldn't stand how she could have let her sister fight and almost die because of her.
Aoi stood in the shower, letting water run over her for quite a while. She didn't really feel like doing anything but starring down at the white tiled floor while she had her clean self being washed with water. She raised her hand up a little and let a black and purple aura coat her hand before she chuckled at it for a moment before the knocking on her door snapped her back, the aura vanishing. She quickly shut the water off and grabbed a towel, wrapping it around herself and running out of the door.
She reached right for the knob when she heard a voice speak out to her. She stopped instantly and starred at the wooden door as Eli's voice spoke clearly through it, like the door wasn't there at all. Aoi starred at the door while she spoke, listening to everything she had to say, her golden orbs trailing as she heard a rough sliding down the door until it stopped, so probably being she was against the door and slid down. What she wanted her to be? Aoi really didn't know what that was supposed to mean.
Eli continued on, answering her mental question with an answer she didn't really understand at first. Normal? The very word coming from Eli's mouth made her chuckle silently at it. She found the thought of that coming to fruition never happening, like it never was going to be with the way Eli had been. Her thoughts were pushed back as she heard the girl continuing on with her words, and the sadness of it all was so clear it was only making Aoi feel a little worse about the situation of it all.
Hearing Eli sound do depressed seemed to bug Aoi. She had never really ever seen her this sad, or at least that memories had served. All the ones she ever had of her were the happier moments when the two spent time together, and before she knew it, a tear strolled down her cheek, it's feeling knocking her from her small bout of reminiscing mentally. Aoi bit her lip, wanting to let Eli finish out of respect to let her vent everything, but in the same moment she wanted to cut her off and slap her in he face for the stupid shit she was spewing.
In her last few words, Aoi wouldn't let her continue on. She opened the door, flinging it open at such a fast rate that had she put in enough strength she probably could have pulled it off the hinge's. "..." She remained silent as she picked the girl up by the collar of her shirt and dragger inside and picked her up, tossing Eli onto her bed and slamming the door shut. Turned towards her, the golden orbs had a trim of darkness to them, a colder nature of Aoi setting in as she had a serious moment setting into her.
"You're gonna shut up and listen to me. You are already normal. You couldn't be anything else without being some weirdo. I won't sit by and let you cry and mope because some dead people wanted you to be quote unquote, nor-mal." She paused as she walked up to Eli and gripped her shirt and pulled her towards her face. "The normal i want is the little sister I've aways had. You're not normal unless you stay the way you were and if my words are just being blocked out by your depression..."
She leaned close, her lips locking with Eli's for a moment before she would release them and come to a standing position on the floor. "Than I know that will." The dark aura trim around her eyes would fade, and turning around, Aoi would remove the towel and wrap it around her hair and turn back around once more, facing Eli while she looked through a drawer. "Now then, do me a favor and get me a cute outfit of your choice, and I'll take you out to lunch, okay?~" She gave a cheerful giggle and winked, pulling out a set of white lingerie she would then begin to put on her, paying no mind to what she was currently showing off. After all, they were family.
