Demetre Thorley [Completed]

Demetre lived on Planet Derse all of his life up until he was 18. He had a rough time for most of his life. His father died a month after he was born so he never truly met his father. Due to genetic defects at birth his left eye is red and right eye is blue.
His mother was always trying her best to make his life great but she just wasn't able to do it, especially not after his father died, so she left him in the middle of nowhere on his tenth birthday. From that day on Demetre has had abandonment issues and will have them for the rest of his life. Later in life he went to basic monster hunter school for four years and passed with flying colors. During his Junior year at the academy on Planet Derse Demetre crafted his signature weapon, his long bow. His long bow was specially designed for him to load three arrows on to it at once and be able to fire all three arrows at once. If he pulls his bow apart the two halves can double as nunchucks. When the bow is used for nunchucks, the tips of each nunchuck will have spikes coming out to do extra damage to the monsters he is fighting. Whenever he wants he can recombine the nunchucks back into a bow. Demetre decided he was going to come to Syne Academy because he felt like he had what it took to become a professional hunter, after all the training he would get from Syne that is. He wanted to travel off Planet Derse for the first time in his life to pursue something he truly loved doing, slaying monsters and learning to become a better fighter. He also wanted to be a Hunter because no one in his family had ever amounted to anything, he wanted to honor the Thorley name for once in his life.

"Come on Demetre, you were supposed to be ready thirty minutes ago!" Vriska, Demetre's mom, yelled out to Demetre. "Im almost ready mom! I just need five more minutes." he replied. Demetre was packing up his stuff into two suitcases. His mom was taking him to an unknown place for his birthday party, he just turned one. "Ok mom I finished packing, where are we going I'm so excited to find out? And why do I need to pack up all my belongings into these suitcases?" Demetre was now baffled by these new thoughts he was having. 'What if I'm going somewhere with mom and we wont be returning here?' he thought. He quickly discarded that thought in fears that it might be true. "Where we are going is a secret but im sure you will love it dear." The sorrow in Vriska's voice was very noticeable and Demetre noticed it, making him even more nervous about what was going on. He helped his mom carry his things out to the trunk of the car. After they finished getting everything ready they both got into the car and Vriska started it up. After letting it warm up for a moment she started to drive away at a relatively fast speed. She drove for about ten minutes before she pulled off to the side of the road. It was the middle of nowhere and neither one knew quite where they were. "Demetre, I promise I will always love you and miss you baby, I am only doing this for your safety. I love you more than anything in the world." Vriska turns around to face Demetre, tears welling up in her eyes, and kisses his forehead as a goodbye kiss. "Mommy what do you mean, what's going on?" Demetre is getting really scared now, mainly because he had thought something like this might happen. But never in his worst nightmares would he have thought of this situation happening. "I cant give you the best things for you, I cant support you, you deserve better than me. Im so sorry this has to happen this way." Tears are now flowing from her eyes. Demetre is now starting to cry as well. Vriska gets out of the car and opens the rear door and gets Demetre out. She gets his luggage out of the trunk and sets it down next to him. She bends over and gives Demetre one last kiss before she gets up and and gets in the car and drives away, leaving Demetre to find his own way in life.
