Overall Personality: Gabriel even at a closer look, is a carefree man. Very little actually bothers him, and anger isn't something that's very easily associated with him. He's the kind of person who takes it as it comes, rolls with the punches, and always seems to have an idea to fix a problem should one come up. Improvisation, talking logically, and keeping those around him calm are his greatest traits. And he knows he's good at these things.
However, because of his aloof nature he can come off as uncaring, distant, and even downright lazy. This is compounded by his dislike of responsibilities in life. Combined, this issues have left Gabriel with no long term friendships in his life. He doesn't fear being alone, it's something he's grown accustomed to, but he doesn't like it. This also means that he doesn't always know what to do when friends are in trouble, either with each other, him, or someone else.
He values his freedom, and the freedom of others, as possibly the most important thing in life. There's no such thing as someone making someone do something. There's always a choice in life, and everyone's free to make their own choices, Human or Faunus. Because of this, he hates giving or taking orders. He also likes mechanical things and if he's stuck inside, or just plain curious, he tends to be fiddling with things.

Semblance: Power Vault: If Gabriel is in the air he can alter his momentum. However, he cannot alter it 180 degrees. He will still be traveling in the general direction his momentum was taking him, but it allows for him to maneuver better in the air.
Item 1: Ebony Star: A four barreled drum loaded shotgun that he aquired as a hand me down from his father. When fired, the barrels rotate allowing for a faster refire rate than the average shotgun. The stock folds in on the gun, allowing for easier transport. It is roughly 4 feet in length when unfolded, and about two feet when folded. Each drum contains 20 bullets.

History and Sample
- History:
- Gabriel's story begins as any other's would... with his birth. He blessed two happy Faunus parents with his existence, and for the first early years of his life he grew up as any child would.
It wasn't until he was seven that things began to change. Both his parents had been hunters. It was how they met, and they spent a long time together fighting the Grimm before settling down to have Gabriel. And they decided that he was going to at least be able to defend himself. And so they begin teaching him how to fight at a young age.
As he grew older, the responsibilities began to pile on his shoulder. By the time he was ten years old, he had two sisters. One was six, and the other three. Being the oldest his father began pushing him more and more. Martial prowess, acrobatics, Survival training, first aid, taking care of his sisters, household chores... He had a lot on his plate, but he kept working at it because he had to.
This continued for several years, until he was fifteen years old. His parents had begun training the other two, but in his eyes he never seemed to be good enough. His father was always pleased with them, but always seemed to think Gabriel wasn't doing enough. He began resenting his family, and everything they stood for.
When he was eighteen disaster struck. They lived in a wooded area with few humans to avoid the anti-faunus sentiments. And so every week they sent him into town to get supplies. On one particular trip, he came back to find the grim attacking his house. After fending them off, he found his family shredded, save for his youngest sister. They had family willing to take them in. However, Gabriel opted not to stay. Riddled with guilt about how he felt to his family, and subsequently acted out, he decided to leave and find his purpose in life.
That's when he heard about the new hunter school opening up. It took him some time to sort things out, including finding and fixing his father's first hunting weapon, the Ebony Star. With things settled, and his future decided, he left for Syne academy.

- It was a windy day, the kind that left one feeling wary as they walked through the forest. However, the person walking through this forest was not wary. In fact, he seemed rather care free as he hummed a light tune. His hands were linked behind his head, and his gait was rather slow and lax.
"Mister," A small boy grabbed Gabriel's attention and the humming immediately stopped. He looked around before a small hand grabbed his shirt and tugged. "Mister."
"What's up?" Gabriel smiled and kneeled down by the child. He looked like a lost Faunus child, with wolf like ears and a tail. "Are you lost?"
"Uhuh," The boy nodded slowly looking about to cry. Gabriel placed a hand on the boy's head. He knew what it was like to be lost with no real sense of where to go. So he gave the boy a comforting smile.
"Well then... let's go find your parents, shall we?" He stated as he stood back up. He kept one hand on the boy's head as he looked around. It would be difficult to find anyone in the forest... "Do you remember which way they went?"
