Overall Personality: Most of the time Xan can be brash, even to the point of being obnoxious. Xan tries to make it seem like nothing bothers him, ranging from insults to deeper internal struggle. Despite this, Xan is a kind and loyal enough person to people he likes and considers friends. As for people he doesn't like however, Xan will have no problem getting into an open fight with people he thinks deserve to be taken down a peg, and doesn't really care or think about the consequences for his actions. Xan mostly keeps to himself, though he does enjoy interacting with people, especially Faunus, who he considers to be interesting people with a different outlook on life. Due to Xan's lack of formal education, he is not a very learned individual, but has firm knowledge of the outside world.

Semblance: Xan has the Semblance of Regeneration. Xan can heal himself, even damaged organs, almost immediately. Because of this, Xan is difficult to kill, however, he still has limitations; namely, he can't regenerate lost limbs or recover from attacks that would kill him immediately, such as decapitation or severe damage to the brain. After depleting his Aura, or as far as he wants to push it, Xan will need to rely on his natural healing factor, as well as that of his Aura's natural healing abilities.
Item 1: Weapon Rank 1. (Sky splitter) A basic katana that lacks any transformation. Sky splitter is a 4' 5" sword with a width of 3.5" (this is referring to the distance from the bladed end to the back end of the sword) to ensure that it does not break during battle, especially considering the durability of Grim. The blade itself is a light red with a series of swirling lines carved into it for decoration. The katana has a black circular hand guard and a snow white sheath.
Item 2: Regular armor Rank 1. Xan has a set of silver armor; these are just small pieces to make sure that his mobility isn't cut, such as gauntlets, silver boots, and shin and calf pieces.
History and Sample

- When Xan was 10, his parents died in a Grim attack due to, what he considers to be, incompetence from the Bellmuse defense force. Because of his loss, Xan swore to himself that he would become a hunter, not just to protect people, but to get revenge on the creatures that have wronged him, and maybe even answer the one burning question that has plagued Xan since that one fateful day "Why?"
In order to survive on his own, Xan took to thievery. During one fateful day, while stealing a loaf of bread from one of the local bakeries, Xan ran into a shady group of people while running down an ally way. At first they told Xan to, "Shove off", until they realized Xan was trying to get away with stealing. When the group figured this out, they offered Xan a place to live where "The ones cast aside from society dare to gather." Xan reluctantly agreed, mostly because he wanted an actual home to live in again. The group literally took Xan into an underground pass, a crypt where dead hunters and huntresses were kept as a sort of memorial. It was here that Xan learned that the group was known as, "The Night Walkers", a group of 32 people down on their luck, looking to hone their skills to become assassins or mercenaries in order to get the money they needed to keep on going. Here, Xan learned how to fight, and joined The Night Walkers in earning their keep, mostly by hunting down criminals. Xan quickly learned who the Hunters and Huntresses that were buried in their home were, and what they stood for. Inspired by the Hunters and Huntresses, Xan decided to become one, and focused on unlocking his Semblance as well. Over the years, Xan gained the knowledge to unlock and control his Semblance, as well as an innumerable amount of scars, ranging from his feet to his shoulders, leaving only small patches of unscarred skin. Eventually the day came when another Grim attack came his way, but this time, he was prepared. After helping fend off the Grim, Xan was noticed by graduate hunters and huntresses that also came to the defense of Bellmuse, and was offered a place at Syne Accademy to help hone his skills to become a true threat to Grim. Xan eagerly accepted, and took this chance and become the bane of Grim that he so wanted to be.

- Xan drew his blade as he dashed towards the nearest Grim, a Beowolf trying to tear down the door of a house.
"Not this time you monster!" Xan yelled, driving his katana deep into the side of the creature.
The Beowolf let out a howl of pain and made a wild swing at Xan, leaving a deep clawed gash in the middle of Xan's chest sending him crashing into the ground nearby.
Xan lay still on the ground for a moment, then shot his head up with a smug grin on his face, "You'll have to do better than that." He proclaimed as he rolled backwards onto his feet, and pointed the business end of his sword at the now slightly confused creature.
The grim charged at Xan with blinding speed, and dug his razor sharp claws almost clean through Xan's pectoral area.
Xan reeled back slightly, but showed his smile was even wider than before. "Gotcha now, mutt."
The Grim looked down at his claws to see Xan's body healing around them, holding him in place. Unable to dodge or pull away, the Beowolf was quickly cut to pieces by Xan's wild sword swings. After the creature faded into nothingness, Xan allowed his wounds to finish regenerating before moving onto the next Grim.
