Overall Personality: Iris is quiet, but when she speaks, she means what she says, and there is often more to her words than one would first notice. She isn't the most popular person out there by any means, in fact, most people see her as strange and tend to avoid her. Iris has difficulty expressing herself to others, because her mind is often running faster than she can keep up with, and when she does try to explain herself, others can rarely understand her. She likes art and drawing because it helps her to slow down and put her emotions and concerns onto paper. She even draws sometimes to convey everyday conversation, which has led to some people thinking her to be mute (even though she isn't). Iris also is innately very perceptive, which is another reason why people avoid her. To them, she almost seems like a mind reader or psychic, but really she's just good at reading people and their emotions, even if she may have trouble voicing her thoughts in ways that make sense to most people.

Semblance: Name:Mirror Description: Iris can create and move flat planes of a clear, glass-like substance. These planes can reflect back whatever attack or force is exerted on it, but only on one side/direction. A plane breaks after the total force (combined attacks/hit points done to it)exerted on it is higher than what it can handle. The size and durability of the plane affects aura cost (more durable/higher size = costs more aura) These planes are good for deflecting attacks, but also are useful in redirecting projectiles back at the enemy. In other situations, Iris uses them to "shove" herself or allies out of the way faster. If a plane has lower hit points than the force being put on it, it will reflect that one object first, and then break/shatter
(it can do semblance defence for 20 aura, grating 20 defence, and spend an additional 20 aura for 20 damage to send the projectile back as semblance damage. She would be hurt by damage that exceeds that initial 20. Using it to push would be a 10 aura utility cost.)
Item 1: Weapon: Krystallumn, Description: Krystallumn can function as a regular mace, but it also has a button which allows the top spike ball head to shoot out while attached to a chain (maximum chain length= 15 feet) The spikeball and chain can be infused with dust. Krystallumn is good with dealing blunt force damage or knocking down heavy/armored grimm

- When Iris was 3 years old, she was adopted into the Sterling family, which is known for making high-quality armor. She's lived in the town of Bellmuse her entire life. Her family wasn't sure what to make of her as she got older, and her strange behaviors (such as running out of crowds, hiding in small spaces, and plugging her ears when people are talking) became more prominent. Then, one day, when Iris was about 10 years old, she got a hold of one of the armor designs her father had left out and started doodling on it. At first her father was upset, but he could tell right away that she had a keen eye for design. From then on, she was mentored and trained to draw up designs for armor and weapons alike. One of her favorite things to do was carving and engraving the metal with decorative patterns. When she was 15, her mother, who was concerned for Iris's safety, enrolled her in a combat school so she could learn basic fighting and self-defense, but Iris did better than anticipated. Iris naturally leaned towards a weapon that would compliment the armor she helped make every day at her family's shop, and because she noticed that some of the speed-focused students had a harder time fighting off heavily armored Grimm. Eventually, Iris decided to go on to Syne academy, to learn more and discover more about herself. Something important to note about Iris's history would be her image as others see her. A common rumor circulating about Iris is that she is mute. This is because Iris sometimes uses her art/drawings/doodles to communicate with other people and otherwise doesn't talk a whole lot. This rumor is false, but it's another reason people tend to avoid her and why she has never really had many friends.

- Iris was feeling a bit down after dealing with yet another angry customer. Lately many of the customers had been upset with her, but she couldn't figure out why. "What am I doing wrong?" She wondered as she curled up into a ball and sat on the floor. She tried to hold them back, but teams streamed down her face as she cried silently. Then she stopped for a moment."Maybe I could go out to the square and draw for a bit, that might help me feel better" She thought. Iris grabbed her sketchbook and left the shop, feeling a bit more hopeful. As she entered the town square, she felt a tightness in her chest. There were a lot more people outside than normal, too many. People in the area gave her strange looks as she darted through the crowd. Iris found her favorite spot to hide when the stimulation of her surroundings was too much for her to handle: outside the bakery, near the boxes of uneaten pastries that had yet to be delivered. She breathed a sigh of relief and felt much better.
