Captain "Cool" Briggs

About The Captain: Captain Briggs is quite the strange fellow. He runs and maintains a massive, modern, cruise liner known as the "Mary Sails East" seemingly alone. It is even rumoured that he constructed the craft. Now, if you know anything about ships, let alone cruise ships, you'll know, that should be impossible. Especially on the "Mary" as it is often shortened to; a ship longer than a football field with three separate levels of decks. This ship is used for parties mostly, from Weddings to Birthdays and everything between, and these parties can last weeks at a time. Yet Captain Briggs seems somehow to be simultaneously the barman, the captain and the cleaner. It's no wonder he wears an eye-mask all the time, he has to catch sleep whenever he can! It's lucky you're going to help him on a short voyage! Just twice or thrice around the island over a good eight-twelve hours.
Now, on the captain himself, he is a busy bloke. Never observed still or un-working, he has been dubbed a bit of a workaholic. He does still find time for a talk however, seemingly knowing his tasks so well as to communicate freely while mixing complicated drinks or brushing or even steering the ship. Topics usually tend around stories of past passengers on Mary, he doesn't seem to have any love-life or history outside the boat he wants to talk about. Instead he'll go on and on about the times people have fallen off the boat and the grandiose displays of affection he has observed at Weddings and Engagements. All that's really known about him personally is his favourite colour, turquoise. His most common outfit is a dress shirt, trousers, a white vest and a yellow tie. That and of course his typical eye-mask.
