Overall Personality: Ray is a happy-go-lucky person who raised in a loving household, his parents are the weapons Smith and tailor of the small town. Ray's father a Fox Faunas and his mother a normal human, Ray has always believed inequality, never seeing pureblood human or faunas as nothing but equals it could be due to his parents being from both sides of the same coin, or how he was raised. Nevertheless, he would never protest against humans. Nor wage war against faunas. If a group of anti-faunas travelers entered the town and started picking on him and beating him up he would stay his tongue and simply protect himself from extreme harm if the White Fang entered his village and try to set all the buildings ablaze. He would follow them with buckets of water to put the flames out. He is extremely protective always worrying about the elderly, the helpless and the wounded leaving himself at the bottom of the checklist. However, when words are not enough to get through to somebody he resorts to bare knuckle fighting to knock sense into whoever he is fighting.
Abilities
Aura type: Power
Aura Color: Orange
Semblance: Mach Step Allows Ray to move at Mach one But only 10 meters at a time He is also able to move his sword to the same speed or slightly slower depending on the mass of the weapon, when wielding a small and light sword Ray is capable of swinging the sword to Mach one creating a sonic boom. In addition, when using his semblance over speed he can charge toward an enemy and use his sonic boom as a projectile by coming to a complete stop before reaching said enemies (it cost 20 Aura for 20 Damage the Semblance takes one post to charge for the attack on the next post)
Item 1:
- Weapon Bellringer:
- A Great Sword Measuring seven foot eight inches long eight inches of which are the hilt and pommel. It also carries with it a great weight of 300 pounds the color of the massive sword is different from the other blades as it radiates an Orange light.
Item 2:
- Jacks Mantel and Trailblazer:
- Jacks Trailblazer, and Jacks Mantel are a set of clothing passed down to Ray from his father. It goes back eight generations the outfit has been painstakingly repaired, for each generation the set of clothing looks the same as when it was made. The clothing original purpose was to regulate the wearer's temperature cool when it was hot and vice versa just by simply adjusting some buckles, however. it now serves as a set of light armor against Dust (Unfortunately, I have no images of what they look like the Trailblazer and Mantel count one piece of armor)
History and Sample
- History:
- Ray was born into a small village. The first and only child of the family with the last name of Allen, there were many other children in the village but he was different due to being a half-breed between a Fox Faunus and a human. The only difference between him and the other children were his ears, which were easy to spot for how large they were. As he continued to get older, he enrolled into the town's small school at the age of ten learning to read, write, and the history of the small-town as well as the land surrounding the town. One day Ray learned something that was not written in his old textbooks, as word of a small group of Huntsmen and Huntresses were about to be passing through their village for work. Watching with everybody else wanting to see a real hunter in person young Ray sat upon his father Gorou Allen's shoulders for a better vantage point able to see the hunters before his father. Their weapons and shiny armor awe-inspiring to young Ray, however, once one has the Huntsman had gotten within eyesight of Gorou. He noticed that their armor was pieced together from many other armor sets and their weapon while they were shiny, they were heavily damaged immediately indicating that they were not true hunters, however,
Gorou did not want to ruin the moment for Ray, they stayed and watched, However, as the hunters were about to pass in front of them. They stop and turn to Ray and his father, the skinniest of them quickly open his mouth. "Well, what do we have here? Animals among men?" He asked, looking to the leader of the group who wielded two heavily damage Claymore's who turned and looked at Ray his father swiftly took him down from his shoulders and sat him down behind him as the hunters approach the leader then spoke. "Yeah, looks like a couple of pesky Foxes," he said before drawing his blades each one on side of Gorou's neck. The leader of the small hunters' team spoke again. "Who is in charge of this small town will take care of the vermin for a small fee." He shouted out, but without hesitation, the town mayor walked up and declared that the hunters leave they did so but not before punching Gorou in the stomach and chest a few times, cracking his ribs seeing his father on the ground in pain triggered something in Ray. As with in an instant, a loud crack and Bang is heard Ray disappearing from where he stood and reappearing with his fist against the hunter's stomach hitting him with enough force to slide him across the small road. Ray was now glowing with a dim orange aura. Unfortunately,
His bones and muscles were unprepared and his aura did not fully surround him to protect him from the recoil of his punch, with his right arm now shattered. Ray still looked at the hunters with no tears of pain, but rage for beating up his father before he could go in for another attack the Townsmen stopped him by stepping in between the hunters and Gorou as well as himself. With the Hunter's leader bent over throwing up, the other hunters had to drag him away as the townspeople force them out, with the hunters gone the townspeople swiftly ran over to Gorou and Ray. Assisting them to the clinic as the pain started to set in from his broken arm his eyes began to tear up and all he could hear was the praise from his friends. "That was awesome. How did you do that? All we could see were you disappearing and that hunter slides backward with a loud explosion no more like a crack a loud crack… "By that point, Ray had passed out from the pain. A few days later, he awoke his bed, his right arm in a sling, but looking to his last rate noticed that the town's doctor was there to check on him and his father feeling slightly odd and energetic Ray looked over to the doctor. "Why is my arm, not in a cast? I know I shattered it."
The doctor had stopped packing his bags as he tried to think of a way to explain the answer to the question. "Well, you see during the altercation" is all the doctor could say before interrupted by Gorou. "Son, you woke up your aura as well as your semblance, were still unsure exactly what it is but you did a number on that want to be a hunter." After Ray's father had stopped talking.
The doctors then spoke about his broken arm. "Your aura is what is helping you heal faster than normal due to the way you're aura was awoken as well, the only thing wrong with your arm at the moment is the tendons and muscles had been ripped from whatever it was you did. I suspect your arm should be fully healed in about two weeks." The doctor explained two weeks had passed and Ray's right arm was fully functional again with no pain while he continued to check his arm Ray decided that he wanted to help people not just Humans but Faunus who are being hunted by either Grimm or other people those Ray made a decision to go to Syne a Huntsman Academy.
But with the decision from his parents to move to Springwood pushed the thought of going to the Academy was pushed to the back of his mind, five years after moving to Springwood Ray had started work at the local bakery. When not working, he was training himself on using his aura and with another five years, passing Ray had nearly full control over his aura, and with that the idea and desire of going to Syne Academy had relit, however, More than just an idea, even if he went he needed some way of fighting having no weapons besides his bare fists train for an additional three years in the art of hand-to-hand combat with a few different martial artists. However, he never wanted to be a black belt he just wanted to defend himself against the creatures of Grimm. A week after he had finished his training he boarded the next airship to Syne Academy.
- RP Sample:
- At the age of twenty, Ray decided to go into Finnek Forest, to enhance his martial arts training wandering deeper and deeper into the blue hue forest Ray finds himself in a small clearing with a few boulders dotted around the area. After walking to the center, he looked around to check for anyone or thing within the surrounding area. Unable to sense if he was being watched He decided to just ignore the surrounding if there was a Grimm or a person that they would make them self's known standing quietly in the clearing he began to try and focus his aura manly in his arms and legs.
He continued this for eight months and all the training he had done was worth it, as he learned how to stop before reaching the ten meters. He did so by imaging a cliff edge, but his destructive capability was greatly increased, he was now capable of punching a boulder and knocking a large chunk off. However, the large chunk flow and hit an Ursa immediately enraging it. The Ursa charge for Ray swinging its large claws toward him Ray tuck and roll avoiding the attack now on the right side of the Ursa, he looks across the ground for something to use as a weapon. He finds a branch that had fallen off a nearby tree recently "well, I guess. I will have to make do with this." He muttered to himself picking up the breach he started to break off the bark as he did so the Ursa attack with no choice Ray began to use his semblance circling the Grimm and setting off sonic booms one after another while he did so continue to debark the branch ripping the bark off with his teeth.
"I guess I should thank my folks for making me brush my teeth." He said aloud as he finished turning the branch into a makeshift rapier, knowing that the hide of a Grimm was thick. He aimed for the soft belly of the Ursa after he had confused the monster with his speed finding an opening Ray blasted towards its belly. Engulfing the makeshift rapier with his aura raising its chance of Piercing its hide, Ray then unleashed a flurry of mach one stabs one of which hit something critical. Ray did not believe any Grimm had a heart the Ursa then fell to the ground and slowly started to disintegrate. "I guess until I get a proper weapon this wooden rapier will have to suffice." He said with a grin on his face. As he then headed back to his camp
