The sun was at it's peak, the sky was only a little cloudy, and a nice breeze was blowing through the air around the students walking about the academy. A perfect day to explore the campus and figure out what to do with one's life, right? Well, most people would think so, but Jack was having a horrible time trying to get answers about the academy and what living here would be like. Every time he tried to talk to someone, be it a student or otherwise, he couldn't get any real answers out of them. Suddenly, he remembered a very important detail about himself. He sighed and put his 'face' in his hands. He was wearing his usual rooster mask and he was carrying around his bat. It was a miracle nobody called the police to get him kicked off the academy grounds.
The man with a false face was going to have to think of a different way to get these peoples' attention. "Hey, don't let the mask and bat fool you, I'm just trying to- yeah that's cool just walk away." This wasn't working. Frustrated and rather insulted, Jack walked over to a nearby bench, resting his bat on his lap. For now, it didn't seem like anybody was going to give him any assistance. It sure is lonely, having to wear masks in public all of the time, but it wasn't like he had much of a choice. His mother always told him to sing a song or two when life starts to get you down, and that didn't seem to be a bad idea at the time. Besides, he's pretty experienced in music. "There's a road I'd like to tell you about, lives in my home town. Lake shore drive, the road is called and it'll take you up or down..."
