History and Sample
- History:
- This is not going to be a story about huntsmen or huntresses, nor is it about a powerful and respected family ruling over a part of Remnant. This is the simple story of a simple family living a simple life as innkeepers. From generation to generation, the Yamashita family has run countless inns all across the world to help those in need of a place to rest after a long trip or the unfortunates who get caught under a sudden storm. Over centuries has this family provided a warm and welcoming place for those looking for a temporary retreat or some vacation. This was the duty and the pride of the Yamashita family. While they aim to live a simple live of generosity, some believes that this innkeeper family hides a great treasure of some kind. But this is just a rumor spread by the competition. Or is it?
Yuki is the only daughter of the 14th generation of the Yamashita family, born and raised in Vale for most of her life, the young fox quickly learned the ropes of innkeeping, helping her mother around and at a young age she knew she wouldn't open her own inn close to her family's past establishment. The thought of seeing her only child travel far away from her was hard for the mother, but if it was the girl's decision, she wouldn't oppose it. After all, she too had left her parents the same way, leaving the cold tundras of Atlas for a more temperate climate. After growing into a fine woman and seeds from a tree of the Everfall Forest, Yuki traversed the seas to reach the island of Bellmuse, where no Yamashita had set foot before to establish her own inn. Going for the more soothing atmosphere of Springwood, the fox girl began construction of her inn between the sparkling water of the nearby lake and a tall hill as she envisioned her dream estate that she would share with visitors and customers. What stories would be told between those walls? Only time would tell.
- RP Sample:
- Standing at the top of the hill was a blonde faunus, her ears perking in excitement as she had her eyes glued to a blueprint. The blue paper clearly shown the plans of a building, or rather two. The first and bigger one with it's three floors seemed to be the main one and was to be built at the foot of the hill while the second, far smaller in size should be up into part of the hill itself with the two structures connected via stairs. The girl lowered the blueprint after staring for a while, looking at what was the results of the construction plan that was drawn unto the paper in her hands. Everything seemed perfect which was the reason behind her great excitement. Soon she would be ready to open her doors to customers, but first, she needed to add her own touch. Walking all around the building, the woman began to throw around seeds of all kinds, some landed on the ground, some stuck to the nearby walls and before long, no more seeds were left in her small pouches. Standing in front of the main double doors of the inn, the fox raised ber hand towards the sky and the seeds began to react immediately, sprouting wines, flowers and trees all over, easily covering more than half the building in vegetation, giving away the feeling that nature owns the place. Leaving the main building for the second one, which was only changing rooms for the main attraction, the blonde girl had one last seed to plant. Behind the changing rooms were hot springs, warmed by fire dust buried underground. It was the one thing that the fox always thought was missing to her parents' inn and always wanted to have one, although she has three now. Walking slowly over to the other side of the hot pool of water, there was an untouched patch of dirt where the final detail for the whole inn had to be place. Planting the seed and taking a few steps back before raising her hands once again, a large tree sprouted and withing seconds its crimson leaves were already falling. The Everfall's tree was the main set piece of the magnificent decor that had spent its time only in the girl's imagination until now. Everything was perfect, tomorrow would be "Day 1" and nothing could make the young entrepreneur happier.
