Likes: Any meat outside of the ocean(even if it came from the ocean), his machete named "Juana," watching people get hurt/scared/shocked/disgusted/confused, hazelnuts.
Dislikes: The ocean, turquoise paint in a can, shrimp.
Fears: His mother, anything happening to his weapon, magicians, being deep underwater.
Talent: Stealth
Weakness Swimming
Overall Personality: Gabe's a pretty chill guy, I guess. He doesn't really know what he wants to do with his life, but he knows he's good at hurting things, so he's sticking with that for now. He's usually happy as long as he's well fed and has something to do that actually interests him. Whenever he's faced
with a task that seems boring and/or unnecessary, he does his best to find anything that could get him out of that situation. When he finds something fun
to do, everything other than that thing is irrelevant and is to be ignored / removed / broken. When he's got free time he just likes to not be bored.
Being alone with nothing to do makes him stressed out to an insane degree.
Abilities
Aura type: Recovery
Aura Color: Black
Semblance: A tendril limb that pulls people towards him, or pulls him to something else. Doesn't deal damage to anything, just moves things. The tentacle extends from one of his shoulders, seemingly replacing his arm until it's no longer in use. The tendril gets a +2 strength buff, can throw, grapple, and pull enemies. Can also be used to climb.
Item 1: "Don Juan," his machete that has brass knuckles for a handle.
Item 2: Hoodie with steel plating on the inside. When the hood is put up, a mechanism inside moves a steel mask over his face. This armor was designed for physical damage.
History and Sample
- History:
- Most people know exactly who their parents are and where they were born, right? Not Gabe. He was delivered to his parents in a box with the lable "Gabe Nahuatl, age 10. Handle with care." Luckily for him, his parents weren't the type to just throw out what they didn't want, so they raised him like one of their own. The only thing that he didn't appreciate was their career choice. He didn't know exactly what they did, but they came home tired, scraped up, and with the biggest grin on their faces. Whenever they got home, they made sure to keep Gabe from watching tv for a while. His mother was the first to tell Gabe about what they really did at "work." The only person that knows their secret now is Gabe Nahuatl. He never told anybody where they went, or why they left. They left him with three things to remember them by. A suitcase of cash, some sort of machete, and a fitted and armored hoodie. The day they left him, Gabe woke up to find a note on the door. "You know that school we've been telling you about? You'll be living there now. It won't be safe around the house, so leave with your things before noon. If anybody asks you where you're from, ignore them. If they ask about us, ignore them. We love you." With those instructions, he left. The only place he called home was to be forgotten, and his new home is supposed to be at some school. He knew he would eventually make it there if he tried, but he didn't know how long it would take, or how to go about getting there. The only people he talked to on his journey were people selling food or offering transportation. Going on this journey was one of the worst things to happen to him. He only knew enough about the world to survive, but not enough to socialize with others or anything of that sort. The entire journey lasted around 4 months, seeing how his parent's only instructions were to go to a school, but not how to get there. This mixed with his lack of experience with strangers made the traveling grueling and frustrating. The loneliness was setting in, and he was too awkward to do anything about it. Something eventually started to feel different. He was feeling emotions he wasn't expecting, like happiness when nothing happens or anger that's directed at nothing. Although this new "feature" in his head seemed like an obstacle, it at least made him interesting enough for people to offer help to him. With his newfound ability to actually talk to people, his journey became a breeze. His new life seems like it's just in front of him, and all he has to do is join the school and take control. Filled with confidence, his plan is simple and will totally work flawlessly. "Enroll in the school and start your new life." This is going to work, there's no way this will go wrong ever.
- RP Sample:
- Stumbling off the airship, Gabe cracks his knuckles and does his best to look like he has at least some idea of what to do. The students around him don't seem to notice him at all, and his excitement for a new life is replaced with an overpowering nervousness. Gabe had nobody to talk to, no friends to meet up with, no plans on what to do now that he's gotten off of the airship. What was he even doing here anyway? Looking around, he shakes off the self-doubt and takes his first steps forward towards a life of... something. Gabe isn't a very thoughtful person, and his plan for what he is going to do at the school is just "enroll in this school so you can start your new life." He grabs his bag and starts walking. Again. Looking back on it, this may have been a mistake.
"I guess I'll just go with the flow. Wait did that guy say something about... I'm confused. Uhh... This way?"
