While my username may say "Freddie", my real name happens to be Zach. Maybe you've run into me before, maybe not. Doesn't matter really. I've known about this place for a few months now, primarily because the ad banner has been on display on another site I frequent. Haven't really worked up the courage to sign up because I wasn't into RWBY at the time. But at the urgings of a close friend of mine, I started watching it irregularly and have enjoyed what I've seen. So I'm not an expert on the series and its setting, but I'm aware of the basics, and am quick to adapt otherwise.
Anyway, some facts about myself... Well, I've been RPing since middle school, so this ain't my first rodeo. Before I got into forum RPing, I played Dungeons & Dragons. On top of that, I've been playing video games since I was maybe five or six and had nothing but a PS1 and a Neo Geo AES. So it wouldn't be a stretch to say I'm a gamer. My favorite games are many and varied, but Guilty Gear and Baldur's Gate are probably my top two. My favorite music genres are rock, heavy metal, and jazz fusion, I like long walks on the beach, and- Yeah, now I'm just messing with ya.
So yeah. Long-winded, innit? That aside, I'll be around, slowly getting m'self settled in and working on my character. Hope to run into some of you guys and hang out sometime. 'Till then.
