Overall Personality: Gallahad is a model to all who want to be knights, pious, chivalrous, strong. As the youngest of 15 sons and 20 daughters, he has long since learned to let personal insult pass...As long as it is not aimed at his honor. He will let anyone beat on him as he knows he can hurt others badly but if he sees someone In need he will not hesitate to put the aggressor down hard. As a dragon faunus, he has a naturally high resistance to physical attack and his religious studies have granted a bit of dust resistance. His greatest fears involve being thought of as impious or unknightly by others, particularly women. He is, unfortunately, a bit arrogant as he is the best of the acolytes from his temple and the monks sent him to Syne to cross train and hopefully be less of a jerk.

- History:
- Hear now, the song of the clans that walk the earth.
Grimm, creatures dark and malice vile
Oft seeking darkness o'er many mile
Swift of foot, faunus flee
Next is man, frail and meek
Dragons proud, stand in twilight
Teaching all divine might
Sons of the elements, clans four
Dragons fight, flying roar...
To the north, Minerva, cold and bold
To the east, Tiamat, of destructive mold
South is Rei, cunning and quick
West is Durin, creative wit...
A poem found in the Argent family library (excerpt)
Born to the noble Family Argent of Clan Durin, Gallahad has lived a relatively easy life until he turned five. His father, a knight in King Mulberry's service, had sent him to a temple to learn the arts of being a paladin. He quickly rose in martial skills, though his dust abilities leave much to be desired. Despite being the youngest of 35 children, or perhaps because of it, he is a natural leader and will often take charge regardless of whether or not he is assigned to be leader when things go bad. Always calm in battle, he secretly struggles with the fact that he is draconian and is prone to the vices and desires of his people. Gallahad was sent to Vale shortly before it was overrun by the grimm invasiob. The news he brought back troubled the brothers of his temple and many went to join the fight. The Grand Meister held Gallahad back and after careful deliberation, decided that he should go to Syne Academy and temper himself as he had become arrogant with his skill as a knight and as a member of his family. He trekked from the temple Bellmuse on foot with a single manservant as penance. It also served as a chance for him to gain honor and glory performing knightly acts for those in need that he came across.

- Gallahad polished his armor again, a habit brought by years of training. He obsessively checked it over before putting it on, followed by the white cloak with his family crest in silver on it. As a pole meister, he had the symbol of a pole arm over his crest under the mark of his order, The Knights of Bahamut. He picked up his belt, with his weapon sheathed. It looked like a sword but when he twisted the hilt and pulled, it extended to a six foot long haft which, added to the four foot long blade, made for a long reach that almost no one could get past. His left bracer was enlarged so as to serve as a targe. He had at first frowned at the implication when he saw it, which he had only felt was an insult to his skill and the fact that no one had ever gotten within range in Melee combat to land a blow. He would have preferred a larger shield to protect against range attacks, but he discovered a natural skill of anticipating incoming projectiles and the small shield was sufficient for his needs. As he walked to the Grand Meister's room, he thought of the recent insult. His brothers in arms had been sent to Beacon after the grimm had completely overrun it, hopefully to turn them back. Gallahad, however, was specifically called out to not go. He reached the door and waited, "The Grand Meister will see you now." Gallahad bit back a retort as he walked past the door wardens. Had they thought him unmanly and craven to not let him go into pitched battle? He had seen the fall of Beacon and was disgusted with how the students had comported themselves. Had members of his temple been allowed to compete, they would've shown the world how to truly gain honor and glory without all these silly tricks the huntsmen and huntresses seemed to rely on. The Grand Meister was sitting at his desk as Gallahad walked in, "have a seat young Argent." Gallahad had only been called to this room once before, and he wasn't keen on the outcome of that, "do you know why I have chosen not to send you to the battlefield?"
"I imagine that you have something planned that requires your best acolyte." His superior nodded in thought for a moment, "yes...This is...partially true. It has come to my attention that you have let your skill make you arrogant to a degree. You don't take orders very well and have taken command from others."
"With all due respect, a knight must know when to step up."
"It is equally important to know when to stand down...yes. I will be sending you to Syne Academy. There.you may or may not learn what I have failed to teach you here. May the light reveal all darkness."
"And may the light bring wisdom and compassion." Gallahad finished the traditional saying as he was dismissed and went to pack. Syne Academy, near the castle and the king where he could be at the center of events....
