Blood sugar running low and stomach empty, a large spider faunus wandered toward the cafeteria as quickly as her drained legs would drag her. Her wobbling meander hadn’t been aided by cramped corridors, but a lack of students due to the summer break at least ensured that she did not cause some form of humanoid traffic accident.
Out of the library, rounding bend after bend.
She groaned slightly as she caught sight of the staircases, having totally forgotten that she would have to traverse them to get to the level she so desired. The dinning halls were directly bellow her, even if the cooking staff were away she could certainly dine upon the vending machine contents. The various baguette and sandwich options were always available.
With that thought however her stomach let out a groan, her knees wobbled, and she dropped straight to the ground; resting on her arachnid lower half. Her body required more energy to heat than a normal human, more energy to move than a normal human and thus greater meals than a human. Yet everywhere she went she could only get the same portions as normal people. She had to order the largest meal possible, even when she would prefer more of something else on the menu.
She dusted herself off, slowly rising Mentally preparing herself for the walk down the stairs.
