Overall Personality: Val is not an Book that one would get to know simply by looking at it's cover. The perception that most people have developed of Val based on his actions in school is that He's Lazy, Stupid, and just doesn't care too much about things or others due to his often stoic or absent minded expressions. Often times he's into his own world, listening to his music and doing him, but he cares about far more than he would have one believe. He has a high IQ and studies a lot, despite sleeping in most of his classes...Those studying actually being the reason for his sleeping in Class. He don't show Interest which is his problem in his Performance, but when he do show interest, he shows it really well by pulling a complete 180 in his performance. He's not smooth at all when it comes to the ladies in romantic encounters, becoming drastically more clumsy and goofy. His Confidence in that area is quite low, while high in many other areas. Despite his intelligence, Jokes are always going right over his head. He's a Hypocrite in every sense of the word, as despite being terribly scared of Dying, he would jump in without thinking to protect another, but Hates it when others jump in to protect him without thinking.

Semblance: " Eternal Blue " (Hydrokinesis) - Through his Semblance, which at it's core is manipulation of the Diatomic Molecule Hydrogen, can create Water out of no where by Bonding Pre-existing Hydrogen with the Oxygen in the area though the Amount he can create from the Air depends heavily on his Aura and the environment itself. By Hydrogen being the more abundant Molecule in the Bond, He is able to manipulate the New Element being Water into Various forms to be used Offensively or Defensively. He can Manipulate Pre-existing Water which is preferred, but when lacking, he utilizes his Aura to create a source from the Air. While having such a high manipulation over the Element, He is unable to Manipulate water Associated with the Human Body, nor Produced by Dust (Or Aura/Semblance of another Water User). He can however Manipulate Water with other stuff in it if Hydrogen remains to be the Highest Element Composition.
Item 1: "Hydro" Headset + Ipod - Weapon R1- The Headset he wears 24/7 listening to Music is also his trusty weapon, being composed of very durable materials that allows it to clash with other weapons without breaking in battle. The Ipod for the most part is Metal, while the touch screen being very durable, Often used as a Blunt Weapon when swung by a really long 30 ft Wire (In a Manner of a Kusarigama) that's capable of remaining itact while holding up to 3 fully grown individuals. (Most of the Wire is inside of the IPod and reels out). On Both Buds of the headset is a Slot that can host 1 Vial of Dust which is channeled through the Wire, and released from the Ipod.
Item 2: Body Armor - Armor R1 - Simple two Flexible yet durable sheets worn within his clothes, one covering his chest and the other covering his back, both connected to each other by two straps over both shoulders.
History and Sample
- History:
- Val was a Pampered Child when he was young, belonging to a Family of 5, Mother, Father, 2 Sisters and 1 Brother. They weren't a rich Family but they lived within their means and never had financial issues. Being the youngest, he often got his way with things, despite his father constant attempts of getting his son to apply himself when doing things. His mother often took his side in more situations than she should have, and because of it there was a little strain between her and her husband. This could also be due to Val being very sick when he was young, having Sickle Cell. He didn't like being protected though, so behind closed doors, he pushed himself to the point where he would be consider average among his peers and not someone constantly in need of help. Overtime due to taking care of himself, he ended up in hospitals less often and eventually to the point where Hospital visitation was non-existant. It's because of him being so sick in the past that his confidence is quite shot when it comes to romantic interactions of the opposite sex, believing that they see him as inferior compared to all the other male figures. Around the age of 15, His Family was caught in incident where a Grimm attacked, Killing one of his Sisters. In that moment, His Semblance manifested which protected him and the remainder of his family until help arrived. It tore his family apart, his Mother and Father getting a Divorce and splitting up, while also splitting up the Siblings. Val and his Sister went with his mother while his brother lived with his Father. It took a few years for Val to come to terms with what happened, and decided to become a Hunter to Protect others from the fate his Sister met that day. He would then become a student at Syne Academy within the Academic Major to gain a better understanding on his " Enemies ".

- Today was the day before the Entrance exam, that day where one would spend most of their time training and studying to show off what they knew for the Headmaster the next day, but unlike most students who would be doing exactly that, Lapis was in bed sleeping like he had not a care in the world. His mother had allowed him to sleep, not wanting to disturb him because she wanted him well rested. Lying next to him scattered all across his bed were books covering various subjects, including Dust, which he wasn't really an expert in but he knew just enough to utilize well in battle. In his hands was an Ipod, and on his head was a Headphone set, playing soft music which was the norm for him when sleeping, often being instrumentals involving Pianos and violens. Time passed very quickly as Morning turned into Afternoon, and eventually into night, which would be when he woke up.
His eyes opened slowly, not noticing any light come through his window. This would deliver a shock as he shot up from his bed quickly looking for his clock which was supposed to set off an alarm to wake him. It was apparant that it was night, but He didn't know how late it was. " Oh...NOOOOOOO!! " The yell echoed throughout his room and the Hallway, traveling downstairs to where his Mother could hear it. He didn't intend to sleep this late since he didn't want to be up during a Time that he should have been sleeping. Now it was going to be difficult for him to get his sleeping schedule correct in time for tomorrow, but he had no other choice but to try, so he would lay back down in bed and close his eyes, trying his best to go back to sleep.
