Overall Personality: Kozai's kind of cold at first. He normally doesn't really try to interact with other people, since he tends to find out that he hurts people rather than help them, whatever he tries to do. This is probably because Kozai is inherently selfish. Among human beings, his worldview is an extremely cynical one. He refuses to believe that any person is capable (much lest interested) in his own goals and aspirations. Speaking of those, Kozai is someone fully dedicated to his research, that being using dust to create what he calls "array formations", as well as better combat techniques using his semblance. In such a way, Kozai can be considered a "combat cultivator" of old.
Abilities
Aura type: Recovery
Aura Color: Green
Semblance: Multiplicity: The user can fold portions of space, allowing for teleportation. This, of course, is restricted. When touching to teleport another target, the range is EXTREMELY small, being about 5 meters. If done with another person, the user must teleport with the target. However, when teleporting himself along with his clothes/gear, the range extends slightly to about 10 meters. Must have line of sight with teleportation destination.
Item 1: Weapon: Sword (knife). A dark-green metal double-edged long knife, suited for assassinations and mutilation. 45 cm long.
Item 2: Dust: Tier one wind.
History and Sample
- History:
- Unlike many of your "average main characters", Kozai wasn't born to a poor family in dire straits with some kind of ancient lineage. No, he actually belonged to a rather rich family, who specialized in dentistry. As such, they owned a rather nice large house by a lakeside. Early on in life, he took a keen interest in something that his parents disapproved of. As an only child, though, he was a bit spoiled in his younger days, so he really didn't care. As a matter of fact, he began to pursue his "hobbies" with great interest. And by "hobbies", he meant killing.
Not the kind of murderous crime, oh no. Rather, he'd take various small furry animals from the area around his family's property and subject them to all kinds of deaths. Furthermore, he kept meticulous notes. After a while, death by simple bladed weapons or chemicals no longer satisfied him.
"Dust!" He thought to himself. "If I become a hunter, I'll be able to measure all kinds of deaths, AND gain access to dust with which to continue my observations. I'll be able to set up all kinds of controlled environments with it, with which to put to death..... Grimm. I've never been able to do that before, and it should help me quite a bit."
Naturally, his parents were frightened at this kind of attitude, but it was the best way to get rid of him. At this stage in his life, Kozai had cast aside all the immaturity of his younger years, having hardened it into a cynical, suspicious attitude of life in general. After all, death was certain, but life was not. And what was uncertain could betray him, and could interfere with his goals. That kind of existence was unacceptable, but there wasn't really anything he could do about it.
- RP Sample:
- Kozai stared into the small cage, which was about the size of a fish tank. Within it, was a small squirrel. Ah, what a perfect day to start doing another experiment. This squirrel was one of the descendants of his original pack of subjects, was restrained, but it was quite easy to see the fear in its eyes. That was of no consequence, though. Kozai removed a syringe from the basket beside him, tapping it to get the bubbles out. He had already investigated the properties of inserting bubbles of air, oxygen and nitrogen into a squirrel's bloodstream (though the last two had been hard to purify).
This was filled with a pleasant liquid that he had refined from some of the fungi that had been growing outside of his property within some wheat fields. It was pretty poisonous, or so the peasants had told him. Well, only one way to find out... right?
