Grey Bird Down [Hunt](Private: Jet, Avery)

The Grimm died on the spot, allowing Jet to run back to the downed man. As he ran, he saw Avery was struggling with Kei’s unconscious body. The fire around them wasn’t good; they had to get out fast. With a sprint, the black haired man reached the both of them right when he heard her call for help. “Who the hell is Justin? I’m Jet!” She seriously didn’t remember his name? His tone was more disbelieving than anything else, but there was no time to spare on that for now.

In one motion, he grabbed the unconscious guy and threw him over his shoulder like a potato sack, using his semblance to lift whatever metal equipment he could affect with his semblance on the guy he was carrying, effectively making him lighter. “Let’s get out of here.” With his other hand, he got his scroll out and called in extraction at a close clearing in the forest. One could wonder how he was able to text dexterously with one hand while running, but that’s just the kind of random skill he has.

As he ran, Jet remembered something from his first hunt with the guy. “It’s not piggy back but still, told you I would gladly carry you back.” He didn’t know if he was even hearing him but he had to taunt him about that thing he remembered… It was a random thing to remember from something that happened quite a while ago…

They finally reached the extraction point a few minutes later at about the same time as the airship was landing. It had apparently already been in the area, called in by the pilot who ejected himself from the wreckage before it fell down. Passing the injured inside the airship, Jet waited for Avery to enter before doing so himself, looking back to the embers rising from the forest fire not far away from there. Well, that would leave quite the scar to the otherwise pretty sea of blue trees… Still, better trees and Grimms than them.

Getting in, Jet inquired on Kei’s status, being confirmed he was stable. Sighing from relief, he turned to the blonde girl. “Well, that was pretty exciting, and I guess I’ll be keeping my spoils!” With a smile, he leaned back against the seat relaxing till they reached the school.

Avery was quick to release Kei after seeing him wince as she didn't want to cause him more pain, but that only made his body slam to the ground and the girl to panic even more. Clearly she knew nothing of first aid. Fortunately though, Shades had finished off the bird and was back to lend a hand.

"Justin, Jed, they're the same," Avery waved a hand in annoyance at his useless words. Here she was struggling to get this person to safety and he was concerned about-- Avy blinked. She watched silently and in awe at how Shades was able to unceremoniously throw Kei over his shoulder like he weighed nothing. The prick was even running while on his phone! She hated to admit it but that was impressive. With not much to do, she scoffed and simply followed close behind. "Just so you know, I could've totally done that if it weren't for the flames and all..." she mumbled, justifying her efficiency at a time like this.

Nevertheless, seeing the airship from a distance gave her some sort of relief. Entering the craft, Avy quickly headed over to Kei, placing one hand on his cheek and another on top of his chest as she used her semblance to cover his injuries, facilitating blood clotting. That was perhaps the only thing she knew about first aid as it was related to her semblance. Only when she heard from the medical team that he's stable was she able to relax and sit beside shades guy. At his words though, she gave him a quick glare but she was too tired and in pain to say anything else so she simply leaned back and stayed silent throughout the ride.
