Acturis has a very boisterous exterior.  He is great at making fast friends and working a room full of people at a party to make them all feel welcomed, valued, and entertained.  The put on a great front of being loud, fun, and always on the go for other people to enjoy his company but never take him seriously.  Except for the fact that Acturis will always be able to be counted on in a pinch.  He thrives under pressure and will make saving those around him his number one priority.

Acturis in reality is a cold, calculating, and, to some extent, brooding individual.  He keeps people at an arms length for good reason.  He has lost people in the past and was utterly devastated by it emotionally.  He does not want to risk going through the torture he experience before again.  He knows he won't survive it a second time.  That is why Acturis is truly afraid of letting other people into his guarded personal life.  This isn't a hard task as most people take his outward facade at face value and are satisfied in their curiosities.  Who would care to ask about another's past if they not only seem well adjusted, but able to flourish in nearly any environment?  Those few who dare to dive deeper into Acturis' personal life are usually placated with a witty remark or amusing ancedote before moving off of the subject of Acturis' personal life.
