Considering his shadow Mission with Bellamuse another mentor would not help and all reporting was is espionage with flashy pictures. Utilizing stealth and information gathering skills would be beneficial to him for later events as a Hunter. He send an old fashion scroll to the news anchors address introducing himself and being interested in studying under her willing to meet her at a Cafe at the market place given he had no real address or home than his tent.
