Falling upon the final key of the piece, the boy lowered his head and arms, calmly exhaling, all in one smooth motion. His eyes likened themselves to the piano's surface while his mind lingered on the finished piece. As bright, motivational, and filling as it was, the song was only but a song, and, as the boy turned to face the rest of the room, little did they acknowledge him. Though, the conclusion was as expected. After all, it was the same result as before, of course, and he himself knew that his presence wasn't enlightening or enjoyable to many others. A life of a mute was hard, but such a life was his, and he wasn't ever willing to give up on it; he wasn't willing to give up on the people that mattered in his life.
Raising his head with a light smile, Gawain examined the current residents of the room and the new appearances. The girl and Orion fared well with one another, and Xavier's politeness glimmered past his dark appearance. However, Xavier's handling of the sudden newcomer's appearance was rather less than pleasant to the mute boy. Gawain was practically ready to intervene, but he preferred against disturbing the peace of the Host Club. The boy just hoped that Xavier wasn't too harsh to the newcomer.
Nevertheless, even as he wished for peace to be withheld, a sudden outburst from a brash and harsh student unleashed itself upon the room, targeted towards Orion of all people. The situation was unfavorable, enough to cause the boy to stand in fear of chaos, but his leader was able to calm the situation rather quickly; Orion's social skills were admirable. Still, with Orion taking care of the small girl himself, Avy by Lloyd, the new appearance had the choice of Xavier, himself, or she could even leave.
The latter choice was taken by the earlier settler unfortunately. Waving him goodbye, Gawain hoped that Xavier wasn't too harsh on the boy, but, as theirs was a host club for the female sex, male entrants were expected to be slightly admonished. Although, with the appearance of yet another of their hosts, a wave to him as well, the brash girl had yet another host to choose from if she so desired. However, with Lloyd leaving with Avy to continue their discussion on their own, Gawain waved them away with a light smile before once more focusing on the girl. Arms flat against his legs, head raised, back straight, lips calm, body welcome, Gawain waited to see her next act before acting.
