Chemistry. Remind me again why there is a useless class like this in Syne?
Averia sighed as she trudged heavily towards her first class in the morning. Adorned in her school uniform, she couldn't quite remember the last time she attended class properly. The classes could be either too boring that she ended up daydreaming the whole day or they were too exciting that they weren't considered a 'class' anymore. She arrived at the end of the hallway and walked inside the room.
"Avy Frost, present," she chanted as her daily routine and took her usual seat at the back of the class near the window. This class was one of those boring classes that she just couldn't be bothered to pay attention to. She didn't even know what the necessity for it was. Something about knowing poisonous substances, acids, chemical compositions that work against grimms etcetera. Who needs those when she could just kill them with her guns? Averia sighed and slouched on her seat, looking out the window again.
Then their teacher talked about a group project involving two people. Ew. Something Averia hated the most. The professor proceeded to call out names of people in pairs. Averia paid attention for a bit just to know who she had to deal with.
"Averia Frost and Scarlett Winchester."
She nodded a little. Winchester. Was there someone like that in the class? Well, she wouldn't know since she never even paid attention to the teacher, what more to her classmates. The name Scarlett though, was someone she fairly knew. Though what would be the odds they were classmates. After all, there were a lot of Scarlett in Syne.
Averia stayed on her seat while the rest got up to go to their partners. Since she didn't know who this girl was, she figured she'd wait until this person moves to her instead. But what if this person didn't know her as well? Meh. It'll work somehow.
