Niraya sits out in the open courtyard playfully tinkering with a small devices. not paying attention to the comings and goings of people as they passed by. her ear twitched every time someone spoke trying to listen in even though she wasn't paying any attention. her tail gently moves back and forth. she was silently humming to herself as she worked. the device she was working on looked like an older model portable gaming console. there was a diamond shape on the back and the letters PGS (Portable Gaming System) the console was on a small work table she brought out with her a bit of it was in pieces while the other bit was hooked up to a laptop. every now and then she would stop and look at the laptop as if checking something. She would grab something from a bag laying at her feet pulling out small computer components. then goes back to tinkering.

Taking a self-guided tour through the school, YAMI was bound to come through the courtyard at some point...or a couple of points actually. Mainly because he had no idea where he was actually going, but that's not his fault, nobody had told him anything before he got here. And now, he was lost.
He walked up to a female faunus who was seemingly playing with what a quick scan showed to be a gaming system. It was time to ask for help instead of wandering around like an idiot.
"Hello miss. Would you have directions for the dormitories? I seem to have gotten turned around.". Hopefully she wouldn't recognise his awkwardness as that of an automaton, he wanted to fit in to this school, at least for now.

Niraya was starting to boot up her custom software when her ear twitches. a person had approached her and asked. "Hello miss. Would you have directions for the dormitories? I seem to have gotten turned around." She looks over at him. Being a skilled android/robotics scientest she could notices a few imperfections in his skin. she could tell he was an older model android. but with some more recent modification. maybe to help him hide his real self. "Sure um...its down that hallway first right then down that its the forth left. be careful one of those buildings is for Guests coming from other schools." she continues to look him over kinda curious as to what he was.

YAMI felt a little uncomfortable with the way the girl was looking at him, his paranoid mind instantly going to the fact that she would figure out what he really was. The very first person he went up to just had to see through him, didn't they? At least she was kind enough to not ask him about it and instead give him the directions he had asked for. Maybe he could ask her a couple of other things rather than needing to talk to someone else.
Quickly saving her explanation into his memory, he decided that he would need her help to make his mental map. "I also heard there was a training area, and a lecture hall. Could you point me in the direction of those at all? Any help would be appreciated.".

Niraya was curious as to why he needed to know so many places. she points to another entrance. "That direction should lead you to the training area. you cant miss it. as for the leature hall it was reccently attack and burned down. so you cant go there yet." she looks at him. "Your of the robotic persuasion aren't you?" she chuckles a bit. "If you ever need repairs or anything feel free to ask me Im the head scientest for research and Development at the Zerul Robotics Corperation" she waits for him to ask any other questions unsure what else she could do to help.

Once again putting her direction into his memory, YAMI wondered how a school's lecture hall had been attacked and burned, especially seeing as it was a school for Hunters. He hadn't heard of any major attack on the school, that kind of thing would be in his memory files. "How was it attacked?".
And then she revealed her knowledge of just what he was. Which would have worried YAMI a little, except for the fact that she introduce herself as a scientist specialising in robotics. It would take more than his sketchy disguise to fool her. "Thank you, if I ever need anything I'll come to you. I would prefer it if nobody else were to hear of my...persuasion, if you could.".

Niraya nods. "if you want i can keep quiet about it." she then thinks on the news information this morning about the attack. "It sounded like an inside job the painting were...im guessing swapped for dust laced ones and they were the sorce of the fire that burn down the leature hall. " she then hears her computer beep. she turns her attention back to the device and starts typing away on the keyboard. her fingers were typing so fast it was hard to tell what keys she was pressing.

Swapping out painting for ones laced with dust just to burn down a building? Not exactly the best move tactically, but it seemed to do what it was meant to. "Was there anything important in the building to be stolen or destroyed?". There was no other reason YAMI could come up with that would cause somebody to do something like that.
As she went back to working on her...thing, he got a little curious. It seemed like a normal gaming device, but she had taken it apart and was working on something within it. And considering who she said she was, it was safe to assume it wasn't just hacking into a game. "What are you working on?".

she wasn't paying much attention to his words. he seemed like we was talking to himself though. she begins initizing a program. after a bit a security drone shows up where they were at. Niara begins pushing buttons on the dismantled gaming device and the drone responded with an action. "Thats what im working on. well kinda. im just trying to get the base program into place then making an AI control it." she looks over at Yami "its the next level of security drones. these things will be able to chase down criminals and give live feedback to his slash her location"

Lloyd Vanheim
It was a rather peaceful day today and Lloyd finally decided that it was time to focus himself into repairing his motorbike. It would be nice to have something to move around town with speed without having to take the bus or something. He decided to go outside to do it since it was a sunny day. It was funny to see the face of people looking at him bringing a broken down motorbike around with a huge bag of what seemed like spare/broken parts. He loved to tinker around things, even though he registered to Syne as a warrior. He spent most of his time as a child playing with machines he never knew what were doing and simply building small things with parts he could find. Living in a family of weapon engineering has its good point.
Now outside, Lloyd saw a couple of people walking around and others who seemed to talk. One was a faunus girl, which made Lloyd a bit uncomfortable since usualy people who love machines usually heard of his family and of the way they, and by ''they'' he means his father, threated faunus. Since the girl was obviously a fox faunus, she ought to hate Lloyd if she knew who he was. The other guy who was talking with her seemed human, so he guessed that she might have nothing personal against humans.
Lloyd started to work on his bike, swapping parts and playing with others when he heard the girl mentioning the recent attack against the lecture hall. He listened closely to what she knew to notice that she had some of the infos, but not all of them, which wasn't very surprising since rumors were numerous on what happened. Lloyd knew however what happened exacly, or at least most of it, since he was there when it happened. He caught himself staring in the direction of the two for a while before he resumed his work on his bike as the two changed subject. He hoped that they wouldn't think he was spying or something...

Rather than answering his first question, the girl began to start up a program whilst seemingly ignoring him. A couple of seconds later, a drone appeared, with her program seemingly the reason why. She then showed why she was using the old gaming system by pressing buttons that controlled the drone. It seemed to be a basic, but workable system, especially seeing as it was meant to be a security drone, which implied that members of the law enforcement would be operating it.
'Does it have any kind of weapons system, or is it simply meant to observe and track criminals?'.

Niraya was tweeking setting as she moved it around. "No. its not ment to carry anything more than a camera, but i could made adjustments for a tear gas canister launcher. anything more would require a military contract. which i dont feel like talking to those PIGA in the military who rather have bigger guns than smarter ones" she starts to fly the drone around it was attracting attention as she was making tweeks to the minimum altitude settings. while she was looking away the drone drifts towards a person and there bike. it bounces off the handlebars but it doesn't do anything. hearing the metal on metal ping her ears perk up and she looks at the drone hitting a few buttons she make it move away from the bike and back to her.

Understandable for her to not want any large weaponry on the drones, especially if they were meant for a law enforcement role rather than an active combat situation. Having a flying rocket launcher running around the city could end badly for everyone involved.
"I understand what you are saying, but sometimes the smarter gun is actually the big one. And sometimes, just having more is better.".Two guns are usually better than one, as YAMI could testify to, his weapons of choice being dual pistols.
Quickly looking in the direction of the metallic clink, YAMI saw another student working on a motorcycle, judged that he wasn't relevant to this conversation, and turned back. "Sowhat else are you working on?".

Lloyd kept listening as the two other seemed to talk about robotics, especially about what looked like a drone that the girl was working on. "It seems like an observation drone...but why does she has a game console and a screen with her? Is she trying to remotely controlling it using the controller? Then the screen would show what's captured by the camera... it does make sense. She would simply need to modified the way the signals are interpreted in order for them to be read as mechanical commands rather than simply electrical outputs, but it should work." Lloyd thought. Even though he wasn't specialized in cybernetics and such, Lloyd had a good understanding of it and with some training he could be really good, but he preferred weapons, probably because of his brother.
When the girl started to talk about the potential uses of that kind of drone, Lloyd looked over while thinking. "Wouldn't that be a violation of civilians rights? Having drones to technically spy on people, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't and shouldn't be allowed, even if it's for a security measure. But again..." He started to remember the day of the attack, it would have been easier to find the culprit and his accomplices if he had any. If security drones would be used, it would need to be minimal and subtle.
As Lloyd was still thinking, he heard some start up sounds and turned to see the drone flying. The girl did managed to fly a drone with a game console's controller, that's impressive. He was impressed, until some malfunction happened and sent the drone flying toward him and his bike, hitting the handle bar lightly before flying back toward the girl. It didn't seemed to have caused any damage but Lloyd did speak up anyway. "Hey watch it! If you want that to become a security drone, you would need to have a better handling of it. Also just think of how many people you would need to control a few of them. One pilot per drone, plus an engineering team... Unless you already though of using A.I.s..." Lloyd stopped talking, noticing that he might have been rude to criticize the girl's work. "S-sorry, didn't meant to talk trash of your work. I must say that using the controller of a game console to fly as drone is pretty impressive and that even if it's great work, since it wasn't the purpose of it in the first, having some malfunctions is quite normal... Again, sorry..."
OOC: Sorry that you had to skip me Yami, I was sick and couldn't bring myself to post. I'll be posting after you from now on...

Niraya shakes her head. "sometimes Smarter guns are even more dangerious. with what i work with a smart gun is one that is self aware that its a weapon. and im sure you would know where that goes." she makes the drone gently land infront of her as Lloyd tells her off. she looks over at him worried. "Im sorry i didn't mean to hit your bike. is it ok?" as she waits for an answer she starts to tweek the drone a bit to it can be more aware of its sorroundings. after a bit of tinkering she types on the computer a afew new lines of code. after uploading the new code to the drone it takes off and Niraya controls it around trying to fly with the camera facing in various directions to see if the drone would stop itself from hitting things. The drone floats around as Niraya does this staying about cealing height as it floated around.

Niraya's comparison between a 'smart gun' and a self-aware machine stung a little, and YAMI had to stop himself from saying anything about it, after all, she had offered to take care of his mechanics if needed and said she would keep his secret. It wasn't like she thought androids were just tools, as far as he could tell. The male he had seen before berated her for the drone hitting his vehicle, but then went on to apologise for being harsh. Humans confused YAMI, they were full of contradictions.
He watched the little drone as Niraya tested out her new coding, fascinated by what could be achieved with a few lines of text. "What about a weapon utilising a non-lethal Dust, like water or air?".

As the girl apologized for having hit his bike ever so slightly with her drone, Lloyd shook his head. "Nah, it's okay. It's not like you meant to anyway. There's not even a scratch on it, I just over reacted, sorry for that." As she went back tweaking with her drones, Lloyd did the same with his bike but kept his ears peered and listened to the two yet again when they spoke of weapon. The suggestion that the boy made was a fair one, but he had forgotten an important fact: pressure. "If you consider using water or wind, which seems less dangerous than fire or earth, think again. Nowadays, a lot of industries use high-pressured water to cut through steel on their montage chain. As for wind, I saw many creates blades of wind with the right pressure and size of the blade. If a malfunction was to happen or someone was to hack the drones, they could be even more dangerous for people than if you used fire or earth." Lloyd then realized that he was probably a stranger to the two of them, since the girl seems to either not care or notice who he was. He decided to introduce himself, leaving his last name aside for now. "I'm Lloyd by the way, sorry if I kinda intruded myself in your conversation. It intrigued me and sometime I feel like I'm too much sociable for some people." He scratched the back of his head awaiting a possible "Please leave you're bothering us" or something alike.

Vlad was walking through the campus with his scroll in hand getting ready to go make some music. But then again that is if he can find the music hall. Yea he may want to be a hunter but he still had some activities he’d rather do. Like this was so he could get some jobs that required him to play music at crowds and act as a more natural looking form of security. Or at least that’s what he told them to allow him to take this activity. And that’s when he noticed something from the corner of his eye. So he turned his head. And that’s when he noticed several individuals in relative close proximity to each other. And that’s when he took out his scroll and paused his music only for him to vaguely hear someone speak. But then again that’s what he gets for wearing a beanie over his ears. At least it didn’t hurt like taping and wrapping his tail around his waist so he could pretend to be human while at this school. . So as he walked over and got a bit closer he rubbed his head. He was approaching just to ask a question about the campus’ general layout as he got closer he saw what looked like a toy drone or what he thought was one. So as he got close enough he looked at both groups and decided to ask before he got pulled into something that could become violent if anything happened.
“Uh sorry to intrude but do you know where the Lecture hall or the music hall could be…I just got here recently and don’t know my way around as of yet.”

"Yea the leacture hall is curently unavaiable as it has been burnt down. there is currently contruction going on to restore it. as for the music hall im unsure. i haven't needed to memorize that particular place yet" She looks over at Yami then a lloyd to see if they knew.

Oh well, the Dust idea was a little off, but that wasn't his specialty anyway. He was more interested in the cold steel of a machine, perfectly tuned to it's purpose than the chaotic nature of the naturally occurring energy propellant. "Nice to meet you Lloyd, I am Yami". The boy seemed to be unable to notice anything different with him, helping YAMI's fear over Niraya finding him out so easily.
Another newcomer came up to the group, asking for directions much as YAMI had just minutes before. As he still wasn't sure where everything was, he wasn't really able to help, but waited for one of the others to speak up.

Lloyd looked at Yami when he returned the introduction and nodded to him. "Nice to meet you as well Yami." He then turned toward the girl that didn't name herself. It was either because she didn't cared or that she was so focused on her drone that she didn't noticed. Either way, Lloyd shrugged, he would probably learn her name eventually. Now that he had a closer look on the two of them, Lloyd had a weird feeling coming from Yami, like there was something different, but he dismissed it as the simple fact that he didn't know him and that it was probably something that Lloyd would probably just say something like "Oh just that? Okay...". Not in a rude way of course, it's just that Lloyd had sometimes the weirdest guess as to what those weird vibe were linked to. As for the yet unnamed girl, he noticed her fox traits. He scratched the side of his chin a moment as he thought that she was rather cute, although he didn't had "that vibe" that he looked for in a girl so he just shrugged to himself.
When another joined them, Lloyd looked toward him. This time it was a male fox faunus. He thought to himself that it was the third fox faunus that he had met so far. Lloyd was a bit, not pissed but rather displeased with the fact that when the new guy joined and asked for direction that the girl answered to him, but that she didn't responded to his introduction earlier. Maybe she was less focused on her drone that time, but it seemed too convenient... She told him that the lecture hall burnt down, although it has more... exploded that anything... Lloyd decided to add on her info afterward. "The music room was in the lecture hall, but with the recent attack it was moved in another building, the big on the east, there. I think it was on the first floor somewhere." He pointed the other building where the music room was relocated with the few instrument that could either have been saved or repaired after the incident.

Vladimir stayed silent after receiving his answer. well the music room was burned down. well there go his plans for the summer. so now that his schedule was cleared he was left a little lost but now he was curious as he looked to the white haired male and decided to speak again "So how did the lecture hall burn down? And do you happen to know if and when it may be up and running again." he was honestly curious so he could try and find a place to practice besides the roof of the school. anyway as he awaited a response of some sort he ran a hand through his hair and then adjusted the beanie on his head. and as he did his ears became visible for a few seconds before the beanie covered it again. he didn't notice and if he had he would hope no one else did. but then again why should he care. it was who he was its not like he would get killed for being a faunus.

She made the drone look like it was nothing more than a sack of paper as she moved it to the table. she gently set it down and hooks it up the computer and check it. all the while trying to listen in on the conversation.
