Once again Richard found himself bored, wandering the school. The short man usually prided himself on being well informed; but alas over the past while he'd slept through many of the school's major events. First came a large grimm attack on the school, such a thing hardly phased him; but sleeping through a lecture hall's utter destruction? Even he would admit, that was rather strange.
He had decided to investigate the damaged area, waiting until the workers had cleared off for the day. He arrived to find the place utterly devastated, the floor was covered in debris and holes plagued the walls. The roof was riddled with holes, the area resembled a war zone. It was clear to him that this wasn't a mere grimm's work, especially when he found traces of a compound on the floor.
Dust, explosive dust to be precise. It was rather plain to see. He was rather amazed that the very dust he had on his person right now could cause such devastation. His mind racing with ideas he sat atop a large broken off slab of concrete; pulling back out the notepad in which he had taken some measurements; he began to sketch out his new creature's design. Faunus ears were a definite.
With a sigh and a grumble he couldn't help but stop himself, would this really work? A golem made from explosives? The idea perplexed him. Even if it did work would he be able to surpass his own fear and use it? The simplest explosions to cause most always resulted in fire; the very thing he couldn’t stand.
The short boy grumbled upon hearing at least one set of footsteps echoing down the hallway. It would seem he wasn't the only one whose interests had been piqued. With a grumble he raised the book to eye level, attempting to ignore any newcomers, returning to his thoughts. While he wasn't looking for a fight he wouldn't mind a conversation... depending who he would be talking to. Best to ignore them unless they tried to speak to him... perhaps even then.
