Likes: He adores such simple things as food, violence, and pointy sharp things. He likes killing Grimms, and his large staff.
Dislikes: He dislikes punching things, using Dust to fight, and Grimms in general.
Fears: He's scared of few things. Like Spiders, things much bigger then him. By this, he means things that are 20 to 30 feet tall, as they're that much bigger, and then there's being Drunk, he is actually afraid of getting drunk. He's violent enough normally, can't imagine him drunk.
Overall Personality: Bernat is a very violent man, a very intense man; a man who if pushed will push back with equal or more force if he can. He's not the most complicated though. If he were to take a personality test, it'd show that the closest type of personality is the ENTJ, as his intensity could make someone follow him. He's like this because his father was a very violent man, a very intense man, and he adapted that. He also adopted his hate from Grimms from his father, although it could be argued that anyone and everyone hates Grimms.
Now, don't take the violence and intensity for an unhappy man. No,no,no, he's a very happy man. In fact, it's rare to see him without a smile on his face. There's also that eye-patch, in which it shows where he lost his eye. He's half-blind, yes, but that doesn't change the fact that he's still extremely effective in battle cut to his lack of care with his brand of violence.

Semblance: Buff- A faint green color comes over whatever he's wearing, and if he's not wearing anything, his skin. It effectively makes him tougher, due to that extra layer... of what you could call, protection. It buffs his Physical defense by 2 points, and then he can switch it to a lighter green color which makes it harder for Dust-based attacks to hurt him as much, which would increase his Res by 2 when active. It takes a total of a post to switch in-between them.
Item 1: His go-to weapon is not a very... complex weapon. It really isn't. It's a metal bo-staff, which has a spike on each end which ends up making the staff go fought to 11 foot long, the bo-staff being 9 feet, and a 1 inch long spike on the ends.
Item 2: His blue coat is his anti-dust armor, as he likes to be stylish when he murders grimm. Not to say he can murder them by the dozen, but, his blue coat is stylish. By anti-dust, it means that it softens the blows.
History and Sample
- History:
- His past, it's something he doesn't speak of unless asked. It's not special, no, it's not really that crazy. He was born to a mother and a father, and he had a brother. His father, as stated before, was violent, but not abusive. Not abusive, which was thankful; however, due to this, he wasn't taught the... restraint that a lot of kids were taught. Yes, he has a bit of it, but that was from... consequences that taught him that, not his father, or mother. There's a very specific moment in history that he remembers like yesterday.
He was walking with his father and brother, this was when he was 16, and he was already 7 feet tall, and already fairly strong. Something went wrong that day, that was for sure. All the he, himself, really remembers is the blood on his jacket after the fight, and the dead Grimm in front of him. Although, that could be used to sum up the event, I must implore you to listen to the tale.
What happened that day, really, was a battle. It started when the Nevermore grimm , which was extremely large, started the attack, which his father blocked. His father wielded a sword, which is really the only saving thing. The Nevermore killed his brother immediately afterwords, with a bunch of feathers shot out, which acted effectively like arrows, and boy did his brother look like a porcupine afterwords. The fight was simple. His father almost defeated it, but got killed by the very same attack to save Bernat. The one feather that did hit him, took out his eye, but by then, the bird was significantly weakened by the amount of slices Bernats father had inflicted, so all it took is Bernat jumping and stabbing the spiky end of his bo-staff in through the birds head into the ground to kill it. One hell of a way to do your first grimm kill, eh?

- Bernat was hitting things with his very large metal pole, rather, he was hitting training dummies with his very large metal pole. He did this for fun really, it was a way to get aggression out whilst gauging the power of his swings, it was also a way to figure out things. He wasn't really putting his mind into these current swings, he was more doing it to keep his body moving as his mind moved as well. Such thoughts went through his head as such like the battle, his first grimm kill. The thing was bloody big, even compared to the size of Bernat, he figured that the bird was big and bad enough to beat him to this day. Well, this wasn't to say he wasn't at all grateful to the bird, it did unlock his love of killing Grimms, rather then being afraid of them. It's a trade-off, really. His father and brother for his blood-lust of Grimms? Would he go back and change things if he could? Nay, he wouldn't. He finds no point in it. That event made him what he is today.
Although, he could go for a less violent father... although if it weren't for the fathers violent nature, he wouldn't be around. That seems to be a common-place thing in his life. His whole life.. it changed around that event, and he found it not-at-all disheartening. Heck, if it weren't for that even, he wouldn't be what he is today.
