Hacking, Whacking, and Smacking [Solo/Butcher Quest]

The butcher shop from the outside wasn't any elegant structure, but it wasn't meant to be all it needed was to bee suitable for making food. The interesting part of this butcher quest wasn't actually the shop itself, but the rumors surrounding the butcher. Some people said that he hated teens others that he killed teens and strung them up in his freezer. However these rumors were often lies just as most rumors were. Sienna had no worries, she was just to learn of the early preparation of meats in case she needed to use it in some field mission. Sienna had not come straight to the butcher shop as she left early saying that she didn't want to be late, but she really was just using the time to explore the town a little more. Sienna walked into the butcher shop and shouted "Hey I'm here for a Mr. Pound, is he in?"

"Come on back!" A rough voice commanded from the back room, and Mr. pound saw her enter with a hint of caution about her. The rumors about hims spread fast and it was not unlikely that this girl had heard of them. The smell of uncooked meat yet not rotten filled the room, an odor which Mr. Pound worked around every day most would turn their nose at such an environment, but the girl did not something which was rarely seen among those who did not work at the butcher shop.

Sienna had little experience with weapons, but she was in no way inexperienced with a blade. Without needing to be told she advanced to the table ,but did not reach for utensils "You're the experienced one here lead away." She said as she surveyed the materials that lay on the nearby table, the main two knives were a chopping knife and a thinner and sharper knife obviously made for skinning and gutting the pig.

"Most who come here can't stand the smell." Mr. Pound said as he reached for a knife made for cutting. "Just observe for the first little while and then you can get started on the one in front of you." Wan then began to slice the pig open and remove the guts telling Sienna what he was doing and how he was doing it for each step. The Rumors were somewhat true he didn't like most kids, but that was because of their squeamish and annoying attitudes, but this girl was not being much of a problem at the current moment.

Sienna watched the guts spill out of the pig and while not a settling sight wasn't startling to Sienna either. Once Mr. Pound had finished with the first pig he instructed Sienna to dot he same process on her own pig. She picked up the apron which was laying on the table and threw it on, and while a little rusty in the use of a blade Sienna picked the proper knife up and went to work. The butcher told her what she may have been doing wrong and how to fix it, but never had to step in and do the work himself which by his reaction it wasn't uncommon for newcomers with a little experience to pick the art up quickly.

"The next part is removing the skin from the pig. It's rather simple you just have to cut as close to the skin as possible to leave as much meat as you can. Of course these pigs have already been drained of blood as you must have guessed, but I'm sure you can figure out how to dot hat a simple cut when the meat is hanging is usually the best way to go. Anyway this part is easy so go ahead and just go to work. Mr. pound said he had already replaced the knife which he used for gutting with a similar knife for skinning. He then went to work skinning the pig in front of him, but looking over every once in a while to see how well Sienna worked.

Sienna replaced the knife used for gutting with one suited to skinning. She then took her time to skin the pig and the butcher had already skinned his all the way before Sienna had done half of her own. While she was obviously behind Sienna still took her time until the pig was fully skinned.

"Well that wasn't too difficult, to the next part I assume." Sienna commented on the work as she reached for the third and final knife made for chopping the pig up. She stepped back as the butcher re-positioned the pig to be chopped up and packaged

"That part is the easiest and this next part isn't difficult either just cutting the meat up. Mr. pound after re-positioning the pigs had grabbed his knife and began to go to work on the pig, as he did with the first step he went through each step, but let the girl work at the same time as he did. He finished rather quickly and his current apprentice finished not long after. He then took of his apron and Sienna followed. "I can have one of my workers who's about to get on go ahead and wash up the wash room is just in there."

Sienna went to the directed door it wasn't elegant, but nor was anything else in this place. She opened the door and walked in, and she began to look for the light switch when the door slammed shut behind her. When she went to open the door back up she found that the door was locked were the rumors true. She'd have to delve deeper to find out. After her eyes had adjusted Sienna was able to see carcasses hanging from the ceiling, but it seemed that these were of humans. Sienna gained a sense of urgency, but this room was well insulated from the ground around it, she would have trouble getting out. The man must have waited for his prey to tire themselves out in this room before killing them himself as there were scratches and marks all over the walls. There was one door and not enough earth around to control. The door would obviously be the weakest link in this room as it could possibly be broken down at multiple points.

The door would most defiantly the best and possibly only way out of this cellar, but first Sienna would first finish surveying the room. Some of the bodies were fresh where others were nothing but a bunch of bones. The Room held little in the way of items to be looted as it seemed the butcher had already done so for each body in the room. There was nothing of use to Sienna so she moved to the heavy metal door. A simple inspection proved that it was sturdy and the hinges could not be accessed form the inside. It would only do harm to Sienna to try to directly attack the door.There must have been a different way out, one that wouldn't involve pointlessly attacking a metal door. There was one advantage which Sienna had and that was her semblance, there was no earth which was close enough to use near the door, but there must have been some amount of earth which she could break out with.

Sienna walked around the whole room and quickly found that one of the corners was close enough to the outside to reach some earth. Sienna pulled the earth through, and while unable to break enough of the wall to get through that way she would be able to force the door open. Note to self in keep some amount of earth on you for future psychopathic butcher situations. Sienna moved to the door while holding the large chunk of dirt in her hand. She stopped in front of the door and attacked it with the earth right at the connection point. The door burst open and revealed the room which Sienna was previously in was now just as dark as the room which she just broke out of. The man was still in the building, but the foundations of the building made it almost impossible for Sienna to see anything through interaction with the earth.

Sienna almost stepped out into the room which she had worked in previously, but the door being forced open sprung a trap and a large number of objects which Sienna couldn't make out were flung past the doorway. Care would need to be taken when moving about the room. "That was a dirty trick you know." Sienna called out as she carefully stepped out into the room.

"Yes, but I didn't expect it to kill you. Merely a little trick just in case" Mr. Pound replied as he made himself somewhat visible to Sienna by stepping out from his hiding place. He preferred a one on one battle to simple tricks so he would resort to such methods, but Sienna was the first to make him have to fight. Wan Charged at Sienna and attacked with his cleaver, but the attack missed which came as little surprise coming from a student at a school teaching combat.
