new member with some quick questions.

So hello everyone, im mupoh. Just another new person having a bit of confusion.

Im trying to find a character creation system(i saw the template) however in the realm of equipment i couldnt find the starting currency. Any and all help would be wonderful

You actually don't start w/ any Lien. You've to earn it through hunting Grimm and (if applicable) doing work.

Alright. So as a student making the character,neglecting the weapons and armor?

Nonono. You start out with a Grade 1 Weapon. and If you wish Grade 1 Dust or Grade 1 Armor. But no Lien. 'Cause if you've watched RWBY (Which I'm sure you probably have) Students forge their own weapons at an Academy. (Unless the weapon was created for them such as Myrtenaster or Created outside of a school like Gambol Shroud) Also Dust and Armor is also supplied by schools. So it's self imposed where students acquire their equipment. (Armor could also be made with spare metal and parts when making their weapon.)

Yeah sorry for the confusion. It happens to the best of us I suppose.

But Grade 1 Weapons do have a price for a reason. Once you get enough Lien you can basically buy another weapon due to the fact that you need to have a grade 1 weapon to have a grade 2.
So on and so forth.

What are the limits for grades 1&2? As i see grade 3 is weapons that include fire arms

All of them Include Firearms. Grade 3 is just a point to the weapon such as Gambol Shroud or Crescent Rose where it's two weapons formed into one (Pistol Katana/Kama & High Caliber Sniper Rifle/Scythe)
