Mathilde Harmaa

Mathilde Harmaa
Head was ringing painfully with the sound of a lot of people packed in what was a relative small room. She always tried to track ongoing conversations, but she didn't have nearly enough computing power to track hundreds going on at once. It overheated her logic circuits and led to a more than irritating ache in her temples. At least she knew she was assigned dormitories now, a team or fellow students weren't implied. She glanced at the small paper, before crumpling it together and putting it in one of the pockets of her white overcoat, which hung loosely from her upper arms like it always did, before settling down the scythe. Her hand came to rest on the doorknob and she slowly pushed it open.

And the door was too small. She put her foot under the bottom of the scythe's pole and tipped it, holding it slightly diagonal. Before slowly navigating it through the door. A pain, in truth, but hell. She needed to get the weapon inside, no? She just couldn't leave hallowed justice outside, now could she? It'd be taken-.. If anyone had the strength of lifting it. She stopped halfway through the door and started to ponder the sentiment.

After her completion of her paperwork and the location of her Dorm, the Amber locked female only left her white lab coat upon her bed along with the dirty blue dress shirt, her black skirt with some thigh high stockings and her tan hued heels. This was before anyone was in the room, her duffle bag upon the side of these neatly folded clothing attire, after her little adventure of looking about the academy grounds and the small crime scene she made her way back towards the dormitory. She needed to put her clean clothing up and place her dirty ones in a hamper, and upon reaching the doorway of her dorm she heard something or rather someone on the other side which caused her to go defensive. "Who the hell is in here?" She softly remarked as her metal arm bracers suddenly turned into arm length combat gauntlets, the edged claws turned the doorknob and flung it open, using one hand to defense her neck while the other was in a piercing fashion.

"Who is in here?!" She retorted in a defensive manner before spotting another figure in the room, the sight of a scythe also caught her attention, whomever this person was, the amber haired female knew her not, nor why she was carrying a crop tool around with her. "Who are you?" She asked as the sudden motion caused her earbuds to fall out of her ears and strike the ground softly which made her jump slightly before easing up slightly. "Why are you in my dorm room?" "Please tell me." Her request was most likely going to be answered by some remark from the figure before her, her emerald eyes locked upon this person while her oval glasses slid down on her nose bridge slightly, making her eyes squint due to the change in sight. She sighed and used her spear fashioned hand to push up her glasses, making her large glasses slide back up properly upon her face, all while she adjusted her stance, still using her one hand to defend her neck from the large scythe that this person had encase they swung their weapon in reaction.

Mathilde Harmaa

"Oh hello!" Mathilde beamed as she put the scythe carefully against he furthest wall, glancing over her shoulder at Amber. She pulled off the white, enameled coat and used the massive scythe as a makeshift coathanger. Standing there in the black leather corset, the thigh high leather boots. But what would be the biggest distraction would be the decorative.. Scarring? That ran from her diaphragm, across her collarbone, all the way over her shoulders and unto her upper arms. She stepped towards Amber, hands raised in a disarming gesture, gloved by deep red and black leathers. "Mathilde Harmaa, who do I have the pleasure with?" She offered a small smile, lowering her hands again, clasping behind her back.

"I.. Was assigned this room," she explained, brow furrowing slightly. "From what I see, there are two beds.. So I presume we're in this place together?" Her lip twitched upwards in a faint smile. "That.. Makes us.. Roommates!" She beamed at the prospect, before shaking her head, letting out a soft cough to collect herself. "I'm sorry. Whom do I have the pleasure of meeting?" She glanced at the gauntlets brandished again and let out a soft huff. "And maybe talking without the weaponry works? It's rather.. Discomforting."

Amber-Vera

Amber-Vera
When she heard the females voice ring out, greeting her and then trying to gesture her to stand down in a manner, considering her disarming hand stance, the amber haired woman lowered her hands before standing straight up, and with a quick flick of her wrist her gauntlets reverted. Returning to their bracer like stance, but not being removed from the emerald eyed female who listened to her so claimed roommates words, and upon hearing the name Mathilde Harmaa ring out into the air only a subtle tone was followed when she requested a name. "You can call me Amber, Amber-Vera Picard Genesis." She stated out before speaking once more, placing her hands inside her side pockets. "Just call me Amber or Vera, I don't mind." Amber stated as she observed Mathilde's gestures, her stature of stance and the tone of her voice, clearly she was unsure about Ambers position, she did barge in and activate her weapons, however despite this she knew it wasn't the best course of action.

"So, we're roommates then, I presume you have all of your accommodations set up?" Amber inquired as she waltzed behind the elaborately clothes female, seeing her corset and the rest of her attire which made Amber ponder slightly about whom her roommates social status was. "So, your clothing is quite... interesting, where did you obtain it?" "I presume from some fashion designer establishment?" Her mature tone voice rang out once more, Amber upon her bed, unzipping her duffle bag and pulling out her clean clothes inside it, using her shoe to open her bed floor dresser. Placing her clean attire inside it before shortly closing it, the last clothes she places were her undergarments, a few pairs of blue, pink and violet lace panties and bra's, and once done she grabbed her dirty clothes, the lab coat, blue shirt and skirt. Turning about and tossing them into a hamper near her, and with a quick motion she sat back down onto her bed, the bland hued sheets crumpling beneath her, she crossed her legs over one and another before leaning in, looking at her new acquaintance. "So... tell me about yourself, don't be shy, I don't bite... hard."

Mathilde Harmaa

Mathilde Harmaa
It seemed her future roommate was rather quick on the uptake and agreed to stow her weapons without needing much more convincing. She would hate to have gotten in a fight this early on. At all, even. She was among allies, friends. Like minded individuals who sought to valorously protect what they held dear to them. There were differences. But even students, were typically regarded as heroes and heroines. And it was up to them to live up to the expectation and rise to the challenge. Mathilde smirked slowly. "Amber. You can call me Mathilde, or Math for short," she made a lazy gesture with her hand. "Dorky name, but it works," she added, before slowly peeling the rather tight, short gloves off and discarding them on the bed. "Well, my bag had some issues processing, so I'm picking it up later."

She laced her fingers together and stretched softly, shoulder joints popping slightly as she did. "Oh? This?" She smirked slowly. "Dramatic, no?" She moved over towards her bed. "Let's.. Just keep it at reflecting a very poor lifestyle. I'd feel bad and uncomfortable in anything else." She turned around, tapping the decorative scars on her body. "These the same." She turned around again and grabbed the matress on her bed, slowly inching it off and placing it on the floor, before taking a step back, leaning down and inching her fingers under the wooden frame, before lifting it and turning it on it's side. "I'd like to add unable to sleep on anything with springs or boards -also- being a side effect," she concluded, placing the matress back in place.

She leaned against the frame now posted against the wall, folding her arms. "Well. I was born and raised in Atlas. Shyne, or rather, Bellmuse is nice and far away from Atlas," she answered with a chuckle. "I did a bit of fighting there, a bit of training," she nodded at the scythe. "Scythe wielder, obviously. I wanted to enroll as far away from Atlas as possible and, well. You can guesstimate the rest." She shook her head with a soft chuckle. "What about you?"

Amber-Vera

Amber-Vera
As the wordss filled the air about her being, when she heard the name of her room mate more throughly Amber gave a smile before speaking out gently towards her comrade. "No, I like your name, it's quite fitting." Her words strike the air with a calm tone as she leaned backwards slightly, letting her amber coloured hair dance slightly about while her emerald hued eyes shimmered behind the shield of transparent glass, making her orbs glimmer even more so when the light peeked through the window that laid between their beds. "I do say, scars are quite... alluring to me, they tell a story about someone." "And a story always catches my attention." She says with a chuckle before leaning back forwards, more so that she used her elbow to rest against her thigh while her chin rested upon her knuckles, her left thigh rising upwards over her right one for she crossed her legs, watching Math remove her gloves and such. "I see, a bag issue, that shouldn't take long, should it now?" Amber inquired after listening even more so when Math talked about her bed issue and such more, when she witnessed Math leaning about her bed frame and remarked about where she was from, Amber's eyebrows rose slightly.

"Oh, you're from Atlas as well, can't say I'm not taken aback by that, but I shouldn't be astonished by it at all, I've met many folks in my time while helping about Remnant." She gave a smile to Math before standing up, adjusting her being before slowly removing her violet top shirt, revealing a white, long sleaved buttoned up dress shirt, which was pressing back a rather slight pair of lumps upon her chest. Amber quickly rolled up her sleeves while unbuttoning the wrist parts of the shirt to allow them to roll up easier, and once she was done Amber turned her gaze back to Math, pushing up her glasses for they slid down. "And before you state anything, yes I travelled about Remnant, it was my job to be frank, being a doctor an all, or rather, a specialist in... assiting those who couldn't help themselves." Her tone was firce, powerful and full of pride as she wasn't afraid to state that she saved people, in fact she loved stating that she helped people, she loved the thought of aiding others, her years of being a scientist in her field gave her the resources to assist many. "And when I mean doctor, I specifically mean doctor in Biological Augmentation, as well as Cybernetics, Robotics and some first aid." "Just enough to tends to those with open wounds." She remarked while winking at Math, giving her a flirty smile while looking at the scars upon her body, she wanted to know what her room mates story was, what this girl had been through and why she was given such markings.

Mathilde Harmaa

Mathilde Harmaa
Math. Well, the name was fitting in ways more than one. After all, she was a computer. A sentient AI told to fit in with society and be a part of a well established group of friends. No need to be caught up with those thoughts now. They were immediately pushed to the back of her head. "Do they now?" She asked with a soft smirk. A bit of cheek to her statement. Her 'scars' were nothing more than markings bestowed upon her due to her semblance. Activated at first, it left these imprinted on her synthetic skin. She'd rather not impart on those, since it would lead to questioning her semblance.

Which she loathed with a passion.  "I hope, I can survive one or two days without my stuff. But after that, I'll start missing fresh clothes." Or whatever she was wearing substituting clothes. "I'm no fan of Atlas, don't worry." She reassured with a soft smirk.

With a soft thud, Mathilde sat down on the matress, making sure her weight not being smacked down on the floor, but rather placed gently. Giving her calm and controlled demeanour a boost as she did. And folding her legs slowly, resting one hand on her knee. "I see, a doctor," she mused with a soft chuckle. "I tend to get in trouble at times, so I can already tell we're going to be pretty close." Or, rather not. A doctor would see that her skin was fake. And the blood she bled served no purpose and was just cosmetic. And they'd see everything hiding underneath as well. The bolts,  the screws and the wires.

Her eyes widened momentarily as she mentioned bio-augments and even robotics and cybernetical augments. And immediately she wes lead to doubt and question who knew of her arrival. Who pulled the strings to have her end up with a specialist in this field? Her surprise dissipated as much as it arose and she coughed momentarily. "Sorry, that's.. Quite impressive."

Amber-Vera

Amber-Vera
Amber could only smile as Math spoke about her situation more and their new friendship, and as Amber gawked at her roommates astounding beauty and how she slowly sat down, hearing her and listening in on how she spoke. "I'm sure your bags will arrive, if not, you can borrow some of my clothes." She stated as she smiled, thinking shortly on her phrase of words before putting her hands together and folding them on each other. "Or even better, we can have a girl day out and buy some new clothes, think it of a date of sorts." She said as she gave Math a coy smirk and a sultry wink before her tongue slithered out and ran along her peach tone lips as she was becoming rather attached to Math already. But she noticed something off when she stated her field towards Math, seeing her ocular orbs widen slightly and the cough made Amber ponder about something. "It's really nothing impressive, unless you want to point out that my skin is augmented, which I did myself." "Now that's impressive to be frank."

She said with a witty tone before standing up and walking towards Math, taking a seat beside her and slowly placing her hand upon her chest, running her fingers along one of her scars, when she touched her skin it was, different to be obvious, by her confused look something was off. "Hmmm... strange... could just be me... or... does you skin feel... cold?" Amber asked her friend, giving her a sly smile, tracing her hands up Math's neck and then along her shoulders before suddenly pouncing onto her and pinning her hands above her head. "Oh never mind, whatever it is, I'm sure it's nothing." Amber gave a childish giggle before looming over Math, looking down at her, her glasses nearly sliding off her nose while forced the amber locked beauty to push them back up, the freckled cheeks holding a slight blush as she now spoke out to Math. "You look lovely down there Math, so cute really." This was Ambers way of being friendly to anyone she met, no meaning anything by her words unless met by an action like a kiss or snuggling up to them, but shortly after doing that Amber stood up and sat back down next to Math.

Mathilde Harmaa

Mathilde Harmaa
Comparing sizes and the fact Mathilde's built, that metaphor being quite literal, was a bit more thicker than Amber-vera's would make it hard to borrow clothes. "Presuming you have clothes just a teensy bit too large?" She asked in return, a soft and surprisingly warm chuckle following her words. "Girl day's out?" She huffed out softly, in a manner most bemused. "Isn't that reserved for normal girls? Not bio-engineering- and combat specialists?" She rolled her shoulders and glanced up at Amber, tilting her head curiously. "Augmented your own skin? How? And what for?"

She kept staring at Amber as she crossed the room and sat down next to Math, on her matress, feeling the hand on her chest. Any normal person would have given the woman a slap in the face and back away. But not Math, no, she didn't even shy away from the touch or flinch. Was she this battle hardened, or was there something lying deeper within? She didn't even seem to be scandalised by the notion. "Does it?" She questioned, completely oblivious to the very intimacy of what Amber was doing. Though her movements hinted at the pounce. As she sat up, Math made sure to go down and thump lightly against the matress to keep the illusion of a normal body weight alive. If she didn't, Amber would be pouncing against what was akin to a three inch metal wall.

Another one of those curious tilts of her head. "Do I now? Moreso than when I sit up, then?" She asked with a smirk, before sitting up again when Amber got off of her. And standing up with a soft yawn. Humans yawned infrequently, didn't they?

Amber-Vera

Amber-Vera
Amber sighed gently whenever Math began talking about how her clothes were too big or how girls day out was meant for normal people, not for them which made her puff her cheeks out towards Math, followed by her stick a tongue at her. "Bah, baka, you can still have fun like that silly." "I do it all the time, and no one, literally no one bats an eye at me." But when Math began questioning her about how she augmented her skin, wanting to know how and what for, Amber gave a slight grin and chuckle as she stood up and activated her weapon. The advanced weapon coming out of travel mode and becoming the full arm weapons that they were, each of her hands having one as she held the diamond tip claws at her skin before roughly pressing down and dragging the tiny blades along her skin, but having little to no effect on cutting it.

"Being how I am a Scientist and a Doctor, I don't honestly have a reason to wear armor, it prevents me from moving quickly." She said, stepping back before holding her hands to her side, bringing up her palms and suddenly pushing the air before her towards Math, making a loud snap as Amber was in a martial arts stance, giving her roomie a bit of information about her. "I'm not a cute face you know, I am trained in several martial arts, and I also traveled around, so I needed a way to keep myself safe." "Now how I augmented my skin is more... complex, I had the help of nano-bots to weave organic strands of Carbon fiber into my skin and muscles, augmenting them to be stronger but lighter over a long period of time." The amber locked lass stated before reverting her weapons back to normal and sitting down, crossing her legs over hers and staring at Math before speaking to her once more. "You look lovely no matter where you are, you know what, we should find you a nice dress so all the guys will be jealous of you."

Mathilde Harmaa

Mathilde Harmaa
Have fun that way? Well, Amber wasn't the one with a full body, decorative scarring. And while she liked it herself, she knew for a fact other people found it odd and to some extents, abhorrent. It didn't really matter much to her, this was how she looked now. This was the vessel that contained her. So be it. The gynoid tilted her head curiously as the woman seemed to go about cutting herself. But, nothing happened. And a frown crossed her otherwise composed and slightly cold features. "I see," she retorted. At least a tidbid fascinated by it. Her skin and bloodvessels were purely cosmetic. Underneath lay armoured plates and underneath there, her core systems and actuators. Yet moving remained seamless, even with the massive weight.

It seemed her new roommate brandished, and showed off her martial form. Intruiging, though she could point at some of the flaws. But, as she stated, she was a doctor and a scientist. Math was designed for combat. Mechanically engineered to be a well oiled machine of war. And yet, it led her to question, once more, why she was specifically instructed to hide that fact. Wouldn't it be way better to come clear and see whom would want to associate themselves with herself?

"Nano-bots, hm," she took a deep breath. "Very interesting. And admirable," she concluded with a smile. Then, a dress was brought up. Good grief, a dress was brought up. With an airy chuckle and a dismissing wave of her hand, she tried to shrug it off. "I don't do well with dresses," Mathilde stated, raising her hands in defense. "With my figure and the nature of these scars, well," she lowered her hands again. "It doesn't really sit well with me. Wouldn't feel comfortable in the slightest."

Amber-Vera

Amber-Vera
Hearing everything that Math had to state before Amber, she could only ping on the little details of disconcert whenever she mentioned that made Math question or think about the things she was profoundly mentioning. "There is a reason why I had to use nanobots, it involved my Semblance, and another reason I took martial arts." She stated before sighing and lifting up her shirt whenever Math talked about scars and how they would look rather odd wit ha dress, turning around and showing off her entire back to Math, which was littered in scars, small and large alike. "Honey, I wear exposed back dresses all the time, I like the high thigh cut types that allow me to tease the boys and girls." Amber then quickly pulled her shirt down and turned back around to look at her comrade. "Math, scars don't turn off people as you would consider, I have to live with those scars since it happened before my nanobot surgery." "I can't heal them, so I consider them a reminder of my weak past self." Amber quickly retorted mentioning how badly things were before the process. "Besides, if them boys find your scars unattractive, then you always have me to keep you company." The green eyed lass said with a wink as she sat back down, crossing her leg over her knee and watched her roommate before her, her amber colored locks dancing gently while gawking at her gorgeous friend.

Mathilde Harmaa

Mathilde Harmaa
"Your semblance, hm?" Mathilde queried with a faint smile. It  seemed a rather important bussiness to humans and faunus alike. It had come up more than once now. And she wasn't really all too keen on discussing it, to blame on her own semblance. One she loathed from the deepest of whatever substituted her heart. The latter annoyed her to some extent, however. How many times had she to reiterate that she just didn't feel comfortable in anything other than her current clothing?

The leather was one of the few things she even physically felt. The rest were knowledge. A touch, a caress. The wind. It was just something she knew, not something she experienced. She let out a soft, almost petulant sigh and glanced up at Amber now. Her grey eyes now had a more serious look to them. "I don't care for that. I just don't feel right in dresses and such." It felt like she was wearing nothing at all. Rather have heavy leather clothing. A coarse corset she felt clamping down around her.

Another soft exhale as she got to her feet, pulling the scythe up and lowering it on her shoulder. "Care to lead me around the place?" She asked, trying to change the topic completely.

Amber-Vera

Amber-Vera
As Amber listened in on what Math had to say about what she suggested, all the amber locked beauty could do was sign and nod as she waved a hand in a friendly manner by her wrist at her lovely roommate before speaking out. "Very well, I won't pry any further." She stated and listened further to what the dark haired vixen had to say to her, asking her to have a tour, Amber would love to and upon standing up she felt odd, it was familiar, more so that she knew what was going to happen. Her eyes quickly looked down to see her skin changing colour and texture which made her quickly dart into the bathroom their dorm held, closing the door with a loud slam as she locked it, quickly she was trying to undress to prevent her clothing from being torn apart by her own being. "Dang it, why of all times now!?" She shouted out as now she was completely bare of any clothing except for a towel around her as the process was completed, the one gorgeous female was now suffering from her Semblance, her entire being was a milk white, her hair was long and matched her skin, her once beautiful green eyes were red while everything else seemed reptilian like. "M-Math... remember when I told you I did things because of my Semblance... don't be alarmed when I come out." She said as Amber stood up slowly, her anthropomorphic legs appearing like a raptors as now she held an extremely long tail, however despite her being in her birthday suit, her female bits were covered by a thick layer of skin to seem like nothing was there.

Mathilde Harmaa

Mathilde Harmaa
"Thanks," Mathilde breathed out softly. Glad her new room mate could at least understand, that she wouldn't pry. It made her actual goal of fitting in just a bit easier. Naturally ofcourse, when you weren't bombarded with questions. Mathilde collected herself and got to her feet again. Pulling up the massive scythe and tucking it under her left arm, folding them together. She frowned softly however, as Amber dashed into the bathroom and started to shout out in frustration.

"Yes, I do remember," she answered with the same frown. "If I do recall, you told me eighty nine seconds ago," she answered. She gave the other female a one over, her expression not altering from the usual cold demeanor. "I didn't know you were Faunus," she stated, before glancing back at Amber again, before shrugging. "I think I'm the last individual here you'd find perturbed by any of this, Amber," she reassured with a soft shake of her head. "I don't care for what you are. I care for who you are."

Amber-Vera

Amber-Vera
Upon leaving the bathroom to face Math face-to-face, she was a little unsure of how her roomie would react to her new form, but as Math spoke out how she didn't know Amber was a Faunus, which made her smile lightly, which her large sharp teeth flashed at her friend shortly. "My Faunus trait isn't obvious like others, I can crawl on walls and ceilings." "That's all I have, since I am a Gecko Faunus." She stated as Math continued to talk, but it wasn't her that concerned Amber, it was everyone else outside of their dorm room, as her form was more Grimm like than anything, despite not having any bony protrusions or pitch black skin, many would think she is some monster, which made Amber more somber. "It's not you, it's other people, they might think I'm some monster, I mean, look at me." Amber recalled as her 4 meter (13.1 ft.) long tail curled around her being, but not before using it to open up her suitcase, her long serpent like tail operating like a additional limb and pulling some blue-jean shorts towards her, and a few other minor clothing that she had for this form. She quickly put them from her panties to the shorts, her long tail slipping under a slit in the shorts so it would be more comfortable while also grabbing a black t-shirt that said "Cute'n Bad" on it in a bright lavender tint. After that Amber looked back at Math, still unsure about how other would react to the now mutated female, whos skin was milk white, held red pulsating lines, feathery like hair, and various other traits of a reptile which one was a long serpent tongue that slithered out to lick Ambers cheek. "I'm sorry Math, I just get uneasy when I'm like this, I've had people attack me when in this form, and it's not like I can control it, my Semblance is a unstable mutation, which is handy in combat as I get stronger." "But rather annoying outside of any fighting, as you can see."

Mathilde Harmaa

Mathilde Harmaa
"That's... Pretty handy, actually," Mathilde answered, letting out a soft smirk and tilting her head. She moved over to Hallowed Redeemer and pulled the massive scythe up flicking it around and letting it rest on her shoulders. Hands moving up to be draped over the polearm lazily. She moved over to Amber again, taking a deep breath. Almost an annoyed sigh, but it was more as if she was scolding and reassuring a nervous wreck at the same time. One of the hands broke from the scythe and moved over to clap the girl's shoulder momentarily. "I'll personally trash anyone who has the audacity to call you a monster," she assured, shaking her head with a soft chuckle. Even with the raptor legs or the massive tail, Math's posture still was larger. Amber being roughly the size to reach Mathilde's collarbone with her forehead. She may've been one of the tallest girls in this academy, even.

And when that tall, muscle-bound and ritualistic scarred girl told you they'd personally give a trashing to anyone challenging Amber's current state. Well, it tends to be quite believable.

"I can see why it'd be good in combat, though it's unstable. And unstable is a wild card." And gods, did she hate wild cards. Their odds were impossible to calculate. And they were as likely to backfire as to solve a certain situation. "So, I'm guessing you need more semblance training," she squeezed Amber's shoulder momentarily. "Anyhow. Do you want to wait untill this blows over?"

Amber-Vera

Amber-Vera
The once amber lock lass smiled yet again as she listened to Math talk about how her Faunus trait was handy and how she would beat up anyone who would call her a monster, which Amber replied to very quickly as she voiced her concern. "Don't worry about it, I'm use to it, and I don't need my bestie being kicked out for getting into a fight." Her long tail flicking about slightly, Amber slowly walking up to Math and hugging her as she buried her face into the elegant vixen's bosom, speaking out thought muffled slightly. "Thanks for being concerned about me." After a minute or so Amber pulled back and used her tail to reach up to Math's eye height, showing that she to was not to be considered short as it was helpful to have a tail like this. "Trust me, I've strived for years to control it, but I could never get that to happen, though it seems to be calming don lately, usually when I was younger it would happen at my work when I worked for the Atlas Military." "Trust me, suddenly sitting there at my desk and my clothes ripping apart and everything being thrown around." "I made a few male employee's blush when they saw me." She gave a chuckle before shaking her head at Math's words. "I'll be fine, besides, people might not question it with you near me."

Mathilde Harmaa

Mathilde Harmaa
"Bah, getting kicked out," she shook her head. "Won't be much of a fight eitherway," a careless shrug and a casual disposition. She knew breaking the rules was ill advised, but to connect to other people, well. Sometimes, rules had to be broken. She could always dispute the charges as defending someone. Though it led her to question.

Just why did she feel like she was supposed to connect to Amber? The woman was a scientist that was no doubt handy to have on her side. For repairs and maintenance. Though that conflicted with the primary directive of fitting in. Keep the android heritage a secret. So that tactical advantage was not without sacrifice. But even then, as Amber-vera approached to hug her. Something Math really didn't comprehend all too well, why did she feel like it was vital to make a connection with this woman?

Her hands moved up to answer the hug. Her chin raised slightly. Though her face remained expressionless. She didn't really understand how such needless physical contact could be seen as consoling, but if it helped another. She could at least oblige. Though the woman was Atlesian, something she had missed. So the board in Atlas had a pretty good idea of her existence and track record.

"Maybe, maybe not," Mathilde shrugged, moving to the door again and putting her hand on the doorknob. "Let's go, then."

Amber-Vera

Amber-Vera
Amber only chuckled and smiled at what Math had to say, she didn't like the idea of her getting into a fight but what she said was true, it would be ill-will to take on someone like her, and or even Amber herself for she wouldn't just sit on the sidelines to let her friend fight alone. Even if she was taller and had some more muscle than most women, as Amber listened to Math, she could only nod as she was asked to come with the gothic dressed female, without hesitation she trotted behind her tall comrade into the hallway, using her tail to close to door while looking about, no one was in sight yet. "The coast is clear, where to?" The amber locked lass inquired as she looked towards the walls, walking towards them and placing her hands upon it before sudden hoisting herself up, without little more than a minute she was clinging to them like she stated before to Math, using them to travel as it was more fun this way for her, Amber looking back to Math as she was on all fours. "See, told you I can climbs walls." She stated with a chuckle and stuck her tongue out, the long reptilian like muscle flicked about, the forked appendage reaching out to taste at the air which made Amber frown slightly. "The air is dry, no humidity here at all, or very little."

Mathilde Harmaa

Mathilde Harmaa
Mathilde pushed open the door and stepped out finally, folding the scythe around to move out of the door again, this time with less effort. As if she had comprehended the way of getting true just once and that it now had become a sleight of hand for an ambidexterous person. As she was in the hall, the massive weapon slowly circled around and was lowered blade down to the ground, pressed to her back. The spiked pommel sticking out, almost touching the roof.

"It's your tour," she answered with a smirk, her cold, silver gaze following Amber as he made her way to the wall and climbed up. Now deciding to move vertically. "I never argued against, Amber," came her response, before she glanced back down the hallway. The faunus' remark however, put her on edge.

Her hand tightened around the haft. "What do you mean?"

Amber-Vera

Amber-Vera
As Amber kept inspecting the air, and listened to Math at the same time for what she said made the amber locked or rather milk white haired girl chuckle. "Very well, let's just meanders about then." She stated as now beginning to crawl on the wall, it was a rather strange sight to see her move with such swiftness and elegance while upon the surface, on all fours to be specific, but when Math spoke out again and the sounds of her hands moving to her weapon, it made Amber blurt out. "Calm down Math, just means there's little water in the air, maybe not good for some since dry air makes my throat dry, but it's nothing too serious." She states with a smile as she looks down from her position and then keeps moving, going down the hallway and moving to the ceiling, for he could hear people coming and she didn't want them to see her. "Crap, people!" She pondered lightly to herself as she placed herself in the corner pit of the ceiling, curling up and trying to let as little of her being be seen as several students all came walking past Math, oblivious to the figure above them. And when they travelled past the two females, Amber sighed and dropped to the ground, standing up slowly and rubbing the back of her neck. "That was close."

She seemed to be as keen as Hallowed Redeemer's edge. Ready to burst into movement and kill whatever threat presented itself. Her stance relaxed at Amber's remark. Telling her to calm down. A soft sheen and the whizz of air being cut as she turned the scythe around, putting the head of the weapon to the floor. At ease again. She glanced at Amber and chuckled softly. "Sorry, I've been a bit more wary lately." She glanced back to a turn in the hallway and saw shadows dancing on the wall, soon footsteps reached her. A glance back at Amber to witness her moving up to lurk on the ceiling. A soft shrug and she moved forward. Letting the people pass without a word. Though she did recieve some wary looks.

Mathilde stepped to the side, letting Amber drop down. Arching an eyebrow. "I don't really see why you feel that hiding is nescessary." She stated, moving forward to pad some dust and cobwebs off of her shoulder. "You've got to be present. Show yourself and leave people little to no choice to accept you." She tapped Hallowed Redeemer against the ground. "Prove yourself, rather than hiding." She turned on her feet again, rolling her left shoulder momentarily. "Else you'll end up constantly hiding, Amber. And I'm sure you'd hate that."

With the commotion ending and the people taking leave, Amber listened to Math and her views on the situation which made Amber slightly upset as her long tail coiled around her being, her milk white skin glimmering as light bounced into the hallway from a nearby window. "Don't you think I haven't tried." "Most people don't use logic as their thought process, when I was in the military they all understood my Semblance and its cons." "But everyday people don't consider this to be a factor of my Semblance, they just think I'm some new type of Grimm or a monster." Her black shirt shifting slightly as she used one hand to rub her arm, the feather like hair she held seemed to move on its own as her crimson gems darted at the ground quickly, Amber was really the kind of person who needed to explain herself all the time, but Math needed to know why. Either way, she knew Math was right in that regard and with that; Amber took in a deep breath and activated her weapons to scratch along her skin, as a sudden itch spiked and this was the easiest way to relieve it, once done she deactivated it and looked back at Math. "Fine, we'll try it your way and see what happens."

"Hiding won't solve anything either," she stated, maybe just a bit too bluntly. "You'll shun yourself further," a deep breath came from Mathilde as she glanced at Amber, taking the massive scythe and adjusting it on her shoulder, rolling it momentarily. "Prove them wrong." She closed her eyes momentarily and let out a soft hum. Before opening her eyes again and laying her silver eyes on Amber. An eyebrow arching. "My way?" She shook her head. "I have no personal gain from you being shunned, nor no personal gain from you being accepted by the general populace. I just desire to help you." She smirked faintly. "It isn't my way. It's the only way."

She moved over to the door, adjusting the grip on her scythe to have at least one hand free and push it open. Glancing over at Amber. "I trust it'll be fine," she assured, before smirking again. "And if not, well," her foot moved to keep the door open, hand moving up to her chest. "I'll take care of making it just fine." And like that, she moved through the door, which was luckily large enough to accomodate for her scythe. Waiting in the main hall for Amber to follow her and finally start leading her around the facilities.

(( I'd like to apologize for a lack of proper writing and a possibly rushed post. I found a brief moment to post, so I seized it. ))
