Today's forecast: Rain, a huge downpour coming down on every poor soul caught under the unforgiving weather, soaking anyone as if a waterfall had collapsed over them or if they would have simply jumped into a large body of water. Well at least Myra wasn't one of those running desperately trying to either get inside or at least find something to hide under. Sat down under the arch of the main doors leading to the interior of the academy with her back against the wall, the girl was staring vaguely outside, watching the droplets fall down and crash on the ground of the courtyard, forming puddles everywhere. The only thing that could be heard all over was the sound of the rain and the wind blowing across the wet leafage of the trees and other foliage around with the occasional shouts of students telling others to hurry up inside. Meanwhile, the alone girl was there, observing while the serene scene was unfolding before her eyes, well not only hers, as her snake tail was laying in her lap -or whatever the equivalent for a snake would be- and was also watching over the courtyard with its leering blue gaze.
This moment felt nostalgic, reminding Myra of her time back home in Menagerie when she was younger, hiding all over town from storms whenever they would suddenly show up. She would often get sick from playing so often in the rain but not once did she cared, unlike her parents. At least those times did built up a resistant to the common cold in her which never actually manifested over all those years. As the girl stood watch, the scenery would change for her, the tree morphing into more tropical ones, the walls surrounding her crumbling down to show wooden houses and a central plaza and all the students turning into the people of Menagerie, with a recognizable pink haired girl with horns running around happily while everyone else was looking for cover of the rain. Memories began to flood her mind like the rain was the scenery, those were fun days back home but lingering in the past would do her no good, especially with her literally at the door of her future. Great things would happen here at Syne for Myra, she just had to wait for them to happen.
