Aura Color: Goldenrod
Semblance: Nemean Soul - Leon's semblance closely mimics that of the Nemean Lion from ancient mythology in that he becomes more resistant to physical damage (including self-inflicted tears to his muscular tissue by overexerting himself) as long as he manages his aura properly. When actively using his Semblance, Leon's musculature glows the same color as his Aura, with its intensity being proportional to the amount of effort required to perform the task at hand. Usage involves:
Item 1: Nemean Claws (Rating 1 Weapon) - A pair of retractable claw-like katars attached to elbow-length gauntlets.
Item 2: Semblance Manifestation -- Nemean Hide (Rating 1 Physical Armor) - Leon has manifested his semblance into a more permanent, yet substantially weaker form to provide better protection against physical attacks all over his body. More often than not this manifestation is easily misconstrued as him simply being 'thick skinned'; only the most dire of potential wounds reveal the manifestation (usually in the form of faint goldenrod hue appearing momentarily at the site of the injury).

Personality
Major: Combat
Likes:
- Impressing the ladies of Syne Academy.
- Dueling other students.
- Hands-on experience
Dislikes:
- Buzz Kills
- Studying via books and lectures.
- And of course, Grimm.
Fears:
- Losing what's left of his family--his younger sister.
- Losing his own identity trying to remain on good terms with his best friend--a Faunus and member of the White Fang.
- Failing out of Syne academy
Talent: Social Interaction/Speech/Charisma
Weakness: Tactician
- Overall Personality:
- Leon loves to impress in whatever he's doing, whether it's fighting Grimm, dueling another student, or wooing over the ladies with his subtle accent and class (or so he thinks at least). Sometimes he's able to back it up with the various lessons he learned from his home village prior to the Nevermore incident; and other times he falls just a bit short. Win or lose, though, he always tries to go out with style. After all, his sister depends on him to some extent still, and what kind of example would Leon be setting if he didn't mask his failures?

History and Sample
- History:
- Born in a rural village tucked away within the verdant countryside of Bellmuse, Leon Kingston was destined to play a major role in Remnant's grand battle against the Grimm . . . or so he would have others believe as he played Huntsman with wooden weapons as a child. His parents, grandparents, and close relatives and friends (including his sister Claire, who was born three years after he was, and his best friend Luis, a tiger Faunus) could tell from an early age that he had a knack for combat, and on his tenth birthday they awakened his aura, handed him a cane-sword, and attempted to began preparing him for Beacon Academy.
However, despite his newfound vitality compounded with his natural energy, the young Leon had trouble paying attention when it came to the more strategic aspects of fighting and often found himself either falling asleep during lectures on how to escape a horde of Beowolves and other Grimm or simply weaseling his way out of his studies all together with his charm and wit. Needless to say, his first attempt to enroll in Beacon at fifteen years of age was met with appropriate dismissal.
Initially, the news was much more devastating to those who had placed so much faith in Leon than it was to Leon himself; his sister had seemingly lost a role model, his best friend had joined the White Fang in order to force Beacon to accept Leon into their ranks, and his father, the leader of the village, tried so hard to get Leon to double down on studying so he could become the Huntsman the whole village knew he could be.
It wasn't until the Nevermore incident that pushed Leon to actually force himself to apply himself, achieving just a fraction of what others believed he could by enrolling in Beacon and then Syne after graduation.
- RP Sample:
- Two months had passed since the flock of Nevermore descended upon Leon's village, and still Leon stood by his sister's bedside as she struggled to recover her injuries. He gripped what remained of his shattered cane-sword as he silently prayed for her swift recovery.
The front door creaked open, prompting the young man to turn his head towards the sound, his grip tightening around the cane part of his weapon for a moment before loosening completely.
"Is she alright?" Luis asked as he approached the two siblings.
"She's hanging in there," Leon replied, his attention returning to his sister. "We were lucky: the rest of the village was slaughtered, picked apart piece by piece."
Luis sighed as he rested a hand on his friend's shoulder.
"This would have never happened had you convinced your father to grant the White Fang sanctuary here."
Leon brushed off his friend's hand.
"You know very well why I didn't do that."
Silence distanced the human and the faunus from each other before finally Luis spoke again.
"You can't win every battle by yourself, Leon," he reminded his old friend as he turned and left. "I hope you realize that before it's too late."
A heavy silence hanged in the vacated air before Leon sighed.
"I know, my friend. I know."
