Hi! I signed up for this site a while ago now, and am now making my character. I have one question: Are starting characters able to dual-wield weapons if they are the same type of weapon? For example, I wanted my character to use dual tessen-style fighting fans. Is that too much? I would be willing to have only those as my two starting items for this to work; if not, then I will work to change them.

do you have a pic? cuz if they're the same thing and look just about a like it ok and well be seen as one item

They're basically both a lot like that, although they have designs on them.

Two weapons of the same type, being the same size and shape, are fine bud ^^ Colouration or patterns on them could be different, they'd both act as one item slot.
