Lucy was proudly, yet nervously, making her way down one of the many hallways in Syne Academy...and she was on a mission! Being the very busy person that Mr. Davis was, what with teaching and still helping with the academy ground and being Lucy's guardian and escort and Professor-Friend, he didn't have a whole lot of time for anything else. That's why when Mr. Davis mentioned needing to find time to deliver some documents to Ms. Free, Lucy stepped in to help Mr. Davis and save the day! She felt it was the least she could do after all he had done for her, besides she was going to be at the academy today anyway. She didn't have any classes, but she did have a bake-sale that she needed to supervise and assist, and she was very determined about it! It was a bake-sale to raise money for Petunia's Pet Store, and all the proceeds would go to paying for basic starting needs like food and special needs and vaccines and pre-adoption medical services, so that way it would be more affordable for people to buy pets and give animals happy and loving homes! The thought of helping those animals warmed Lucy's sweet little heart, a warm smile on her face as her head bobbed side to side in pace with her own happy tune, imagining cute kitties and puppies being cuddled by their new family and sleeping happily next to the fireplace.
Making sure she gripped the documents tightly, Lucy turned the corner of the hallway that was nearing Ms. Free's room, but even though she was very focused she accidentally got distracted by the thought of an adorable bunny rabbit being fed a carrot by his new family. It was so cute that she couldn't help but close her eyes and stop in place to giggle for a moment, and in that moment-BAMF! Something bumped into her, and this startled Lucy, making her respond with a "Interjection: Eep!" and throwing up her hands in fright...which meant that the documents began to float all over the hallway.
"Interjection: Oh no! Pleading: Oh no, please Mr. Documents, come back here! Indication: You are supposed to go to Ms. Free, not all over the hallway!" Lucy then scrambled about, catching some papers as the floated, picking up others from the ground. In a few moments, she was search the floor all over for the last few papers, and she found one and went to place her hand on it...but she placed her and on another hand! Lucy looked up, and she saw a very pretty girl with blue eyes and hair white as fresh snow that was set in pigtails. She was wearing a dress that was just as pretty as her's was, although her's had more white than blue. Her position on the floor seemed a bit awkward as she was not on her knees as much as her shins, and after Lucy moved her hand off the paper, and the girl picked it up and added to some others and offering them to her. Lucy very carefully accepted the paper and reordered them all.
"Gratitude: U-umm, w-well, th-thank you v-very m-much, Miss. Inquiry: M-May I a-asked you wh-what y-you are doing o-on the fl-floor? Suggestion: I-I d-don't think you sh-should sit there, that fl-floor isn't m-made for sitting and it's v-very dirty as it's made for w-walking and it m-might not be h-healthy to sit th-there-" and that's when it dawned on Lucy why the girl was on the floor: the thing that hit Lucy a few moments ago was the girl in front of her now!
"Interjection: Oh no! Realization: It's m-my f-fault you are o-on the f-floor! Apologies: Oh my goodness, I'm s-so sorry M-Miss! Inquiry: A-A-Are you okay?!" Lucy asked her with genuine concern, offering a hand to help her up.
