It was just like in the movies, after a particularly interesting day on the job Bai found herself in a local bar. Mosse's Isle, it was called. The place was a good spot not just for their drinks but for the atmosphere of the place. There was a classic feel to the establishment that was so few and far between in this day and age of modernization. In a small alcove at the back of the place a band played some classic but nondescript background music to further set the mood. The lighting in the place was a soft yellow that accentuated everything yet left just enough mystery behind it to give it a sense of wonder. Along the wall just to the right of the entrance was the bar with several classily dressed bar tenders. Across from them the wall had several cut outs for larger tables. The main bulk of the floor was taken up by more moderate sized tables while the floor just in front of the alcove in the back was open for socialization or dancing.
Bai had seated herself in a small table usually meant for three people towards the back of the place. So far she was working on her second long island iced tea and the buzz was already starting to hit her. After all the drink was mostly booze, though she did have a pretty high tolerance for alcohol. But right about now she wasn't worrying about anything other than just relaxing and letting the night happen.
