Overall Personality: Kyeji is a calm, collected, and level-headed person. He always seems to be extremely easygoing, even in the most dire straits. He's emotionally aloof and often times hard to read, not really changing his facial expression for much, save irritation, frustration, or forebearing fury. There are still those inadvertent emotional reactions that slip through, such as blushing with embarrassment or coughing and sputtering when something awkward happens, but other than that, he has quite the handle on his emotional state. He still thinks like an average person and thinks the same thoughts and feels the same feelings as his peers, especially on subjects happening to concern any medical situation or possible loss of life, but often times can come off as blunt and extremely direct. Ky can occasionally have a tendency to take entertainment at the expense of others, meaning pranks that involve the glossing over of details or purposefully withholding information for the purpose of making a situation appear interesting to him. Altogether though, he is a genuinely pleasant human being who desires the general good of the people, but believes that the less magnanimous of human culture can prove quite unforgiving when shown any signs of weakness.

History and Sample
- History:
- A young boy from a middle-class family in the midst of Mistral is born and soon shows an aptitude for 2 things, fighting and the human body. Naturally, he elects to join a fighting school taught by a local martial artist to use his skills and hone them to perfection. He's given constant praise for his skills, but something just doesn't quite feel right to him. He trains day and night and becomes a talented warrior, fighting defensively and using the weak points of a person against them when they are vulnerable. That boy didn't like using his knowledge to fight people, he wanted to help them. Kyeji Ikatsuka, the young martial artist who only ever wanted to become a doctor was in for a rude awakening. Kyeji had friends, but he also had a problem. Medical school was expensive, and so was his martial arts training, so he abandoned his fighting school with the knowledge he had and decided that he would be much more accustomed to working so that he could afford his dreams. He drifted a bit, from job to job, never finding much satisfaction in any of them, and often times being fired soon after being hired because the jobs were temporary to begin with.
Kyeji was walking home from yet another job that never intended to keep him for long with a small group of friends. They passed through an alley and someone stepped rightup to one of his friends and stabbed them in the stomach. The assailant ran away and left Kyeji and the rest of their group to watch as their friend bled with a knife jammed in his gut. Kyeji put everything that he knew about anatomy into his friend, while he told them to call an ambulance. They said that they couldn't, that this was considered a gang dispute and that they'd all be arrested for it. So, it was purely left to Kyeji to help his friend with the use of very limited medical supplies other than some alcohol that was tucked into a nearby trash bin. They had to move him somewhere else.
The gang apparently did have a hideout and they somehow managed to get the injured boy there alive. Kyeji now had a bit more supplies to work with from a first-aid kit they had on site. He kept his friend alive and cauterized the wound with a hot spoon, heated with a candle. Kyeji was tired, he'd gotten fired from his job, learned that his friendswere all gang members, and had to save the life of one of them. They thanked him and praised him, and he liked it, even despite the entire situation. After the high of the moment was over, they told him that they wanted him to be a part of their work, that they would pay him to do what he always dreamed of doing, and that they would pay him a lot. He was reluctant, but he agreed to it, these were his close friends and he assumed that he'd mostly be doing medical work.
After 2 years with the gang he was almost always doing work on somebody that had injured themselves somehow, but the pay was decent, so he didn't really mind much. The stress often got to him, prompting him to take up cigarettes as a form of relief. After a while however, the crew started to have Kyeji be out and help with deal-making throughout the community of crime, he was one of the smartest members. After a time, Kyeji started to realize that his "business partners" would use any weakness they could find against him, so he started to control his emotional state more and more, until he started doing it around anyone that he spoke to, about anything. Then came the day of the Bank Job. Up until now, the group was small time but they had gained experience, and they realized that they could pull off a job on a bank and make a large lump-sum of lien. The problembeing that Kyeji would have to come with them in case any of them needed medical attention. For the most part, it all went smoothly and they made it out in one piece and with no major hiccups in the process. It was afterward that the grim reality reared its head.
As it turns out, the bank that they had just heisted happened to be a laundering site for one of the more powerful gangs in the city, and they weren't going to take an apology letter as recompense for this transgression. The black SUV's pulled up and men in body armor and a whole bunch of military grade weaponry arrived. The gunfire began, and one by one the bodies fell. Ky just sat there in a locker, hiding from what would have meant certain death if he were caught. He looked at a duffle bag full of money that was meant to be his cut from the heist. He had hardly any choices left, so he just grabbed the bag and started to run. The bullets flew, and it was only through the almighty grace of serendipity that he survived after jumping out a second story window and vanishing into the deepest recesses of the city.
He was alone. He had money, enough to run, but he realized that he would never be able to live out his dreams now. He wandered the city on his own, trying to come up with a plan. That's when he finally found the sign, a small one in the form of a flyer, "Syne Academy". He'd never heard of the place, and questioned why a hunter school in Bellmusewould possibly be advertising in Mistral. He saw the price of tuition and did the math. He had enough, just barely enough to get to Bellmuse and still pay for the school. He could do it, he could live his dream with the help of his friends after all. He applied, he tested, he was accepted, and ran far from Mistral to a land completely foregn to him.

- "The boss said that there's one of them left. Where the hell could he have gone?"
"I don't know, but if we don't find him, it's gonna be one of our corpses in his place."
"Well, we'd better find him then."
Ky could hear the bantering of the soldiers as their heavy footsteps clacked against the concrete outside the locker that he was stashed inside of. If he were any wider than he was, then he might've had trouble with fitting into here. His head was bumping the roof and he had to crouch a bit just to fit. Ky peeped out the slots of the locker and spotted his duffel on the table nearby. He couldn't see any way out through the slots, but he'd been in this building long enough to know the layout, and knew that there was a hallway off to the left of him. He took a deep breath, he knew that he would need that money ifhe got out, but it would surely make escaping a bit more complicated. Indecision here would only be good enough to get him killed, so he flung the locker open and hopped over the table grabbing the bag and booking it to the hallway.
"Hey, there he is!"
"Ice this moron!"
The bullets followed behind him. He stumbled and slid through a doorway before he got hit. He breathed heavily for a bit, and took cover beside the doorframe. He didn't have long, and sure enough the clacking of boots shown a bit before a rifle came through the doorway. Bad idea for him.
Kyeji threw a kick and grabbed the rifle before flipping the poor guy over his leg and back into the hallway. It erupted in an ocean of gunfire and killed him without Ky even firing a round. Ky waited for the clicking of a magazine being released before breaking back into the hallway and emptying the clip down the direction that the shots came from. Luckily, he was running the other way and dropped the gun as he rounded the corner. He found himself going down a stairwell toward the second floor, but got no further as the first floor was being guarded by more hired guns with all too itchy trigger fingers.
Unfortunately, this meant running down through an office space. This office space happened to also be filled with soldiers, however, none of them were in front of him nor behind him, so Kyeji decided to press his luck. Rounds whizzed past his head as he ran and climbed over office walls and he saw a way out past the last area of the office maze from hell.
Dead end, with just a closed window at the other end of the hall. He just ran, for there was no way that he'd be lucky enough to survive going any other way. When he got to the end of the corridor, he could do only one thing. Ky trusted in his instincts and took a leap of faith into the unforgivably cold city streets.
