Overall Personality: Moxxy’s personality can best be described as part house cat part small child. Because she was raised as a house pet she hasn’t matured at nearly the same rate as other people her age would have. As well her knowledge of the world is incredibly limited as are her academic abilities. Moxxy can barely do more than basic math and her reading level isn't much past the second grade or so. Of course she still knows there are somethings that she shouldn’t do, there are other social “norms” that she has no clue about. If she likes someone she will embrace them, no matter the circumstances. If she doesn’t like someone or something she will say so, even if it would be socially undetectable to do so. Because she was the only Faunus she knew growing up she thinks that all Faunus as pets, and will often as them who their masters are. Despite her child like attitude she is incredibly resilient to pain, often not running when someone hits her and instead believing it to be her fault and thus she deserves it.
Perhaps it was because she wasn’t taught to suppress her more animistic urges she acts similar to a house cat. When she is hungry she is very very vocal about it, at the same time the sound of a can opener will have her running to the kitchen for canned tuna. When she is tired she will find the most comfortable spot and curl up to sleep, it doesn’t matter if this spot is a couch or a pile of clothes fresh out of the dryer. If she feels that she hasn’t had enough attention she will bug someone untill they pet her and cuddle with her. Since she wasn’t taught to fight her only method of quote “combat” is frantically trying to scratch her opponents, and bite them. Like a cat she will hiss at anyone or anything she doesn’t like.
Skillful at: Athleticism
Lacking skills in: Fighting
Abilities
Aura type: Healing

Semblance: Cat’s soul: When Moxxy activates her semblance she becomes even more like a cat. Her natural athletic skills increase as well as her hearing and dark vision. As well from her hands she can create large cat claws from her semblance that cause damage when used on someone.
Item 1: Cat's claws. A pair of furred sleeves with paws on them ends. Each finger of the paw has a metal claw on he end that can be retracted into the finger itself. These sleeves are permanently grafted into Moxxy's arms, and though they look natural they are not.
Item 2: (tier 1 magical armor) Collar: Unbeknownst to her Moxxy's collar generates a small field around her body that protects her from dust based attacks.
History and Sample
- History:
- The circumstances of one’s birth are often either the least important thing in one’s life. However in the rare case they are what will shape who you are for the rest of your life. This was the case of a small Faunus girl who’s parents died shortly after her birth while she was too young to remember it. It was much like some stereotypical movie scene. She was cold and alone in a cardboard box, and a “kindhearted” man walked by and decided to give her a home. But Moxxy did not become this man’s adopted daughter, no she became a house pet.
While this life may sound less than enviable Moxxy did have a relatively good life. While she wasn’t taught to speak she did eventually pick it up, though much later than anyone raised learning to speak. Most nights Moxxy slept in her cage, and most days she spent following her master around. Master liked to read books and would sometimes read them out loud to Moxxy, though other times he would give her a book of her own to read, mostly picture books since she couldn't actually read the words. The house was rather big and master even had several maids that took care of the house plus cooks that made really good food.
Though her master was often kind towards her he sometimes would fly into temperamental rages. This usually happened after a night of heavy drinking. He would beat Moxxy while screaming at her. The scars on her face are from one of these nights when he broke a bottle and came after her with it. As well her right ear is cut short due to a particularity rough night with a kitchen knife. Though usually the beatings she revived were more blunt force, causing bruises and fractures. These beatings not only made her tougher but also more mentally resilient to pain.
As she grew older Moxxy was allowed to sleep outside of her cage, though she had to stay in her master’s bedroom and play with him until he fell asleep. At first she found it weird, but after a time she learned to enjoy it. It was about this time that her master began teaching her to read. It was hard, but she slowly began to pick it up. My then she was about fifteen years old, her exact birthday was unknown and so her age was a guess based on how old she appeared to be when she was found. Her master gave her the birthday of December 1st for reasons she didn’t know. And it was on December 2nd, a day after she turned 16, that things changed for her.
In the dead of the night several members of the White Fang raided the home. They operated quickly and silently, bypassing everyone in the house until they reached the master’s room. There they stole away Moxxy and killed her master, though only after she had been “rescued.” The White Fang relocated her to the island of Bellmuse telling her that quote “it was safe there.” Without a home, and with barely any knowledge of the world this young girl was placed in a city she didn’t know. She has a lot to learn.
- RP Sample:
- Moxxy sat on the floor with a crayon in one hand and holding down the paper with her other. A child like representation of a large house with stick figures of different colors stood in front of it. In the upper corner a bright yellow orb indicated the sun in a scribbled background of blue. A wide smile across her face she started to draw a brown shape next to the house. It went up until it changed into a green blob at it’s top, a tree. She was happy with her drawing. Later she would present it to Master, he liked it when she drew stuff. Maybe he would even put this one on the fridge.
“Moxxy, food!” Master’s voice called out through the house. It wasn’t too loud, but she could hear it no matter where she was. In an instant she was up and running for the dining room, her drawing forgotten. In a sprint she dashed from the study and down the hall. Not having time for stairs she lept over the railing and dropped down to the level below. As soon as her feet hit the ground she was once again hurrying. She bust through the doors into the dining room where Master was waiting. “Moxxy, sit.”
She did as she was ordered, sitting on the floor in front of Master. “Good girl,” Master said reaching over to the table. He grabbed something there and then presented it to Moxxy. A large slice of pizza, one of her favorite meals, second only to canned tuna. Happily she took the pizza and began to eat. “Thank you master,” she said between large bites.
