Overall Personality: With a natural air of charisma often called his natural charm, Kalos is a joy to be around. He is a fun and adventure loving young man. That will take his time performing anything, and will always move at his own pace. He is also quite exuberant and never embarrassed to make a funny scene in front of people. He never really cares for what people think of him, or comment about him and has a high level of confidence and self-esteem. He is infatuated with the idea of exploration, adventure and surpassing the limits. Kalos ambition burns hot; hotter than the very sun placed above the earth. This burning ambition turns into a blistering passion. Passion for himself, passion for the people close to him, and passion for the world around him.
Kalos is known to be very care free and humble and despite is combat prowess he comes off as non violent in most situations. Although he is quite competitive once he gets intrigued. Don't let his go with the flow attitude think he is any less interested in being a hunter. Like said before he is very passionate about the world and saving lives. In his own words "There is nothing I want more then to be the best hero I can be." He does have a rather mischievous side, often finding a weird sort of excitement when stealing things. He only "borrows" things from people that can do more then afford it and he usually ends up giving it to others not so privileged.
His habits are rather hard to pin down, because he chooses to do things very spontaneously. He does things on a whim of interest, if he is enthusiastic about it. He loves travelling and going on adventures, so one wouldn't see him at one spot for to long. He likes to keep moving and never stopping. But most of the time he just wants to lay down and observe the world for all it's greatness. If there is one thing about Kalos's persona it's his pure determination and undying will to overcome. The kid simply doesn't give in no matter what the situation is; and has a ridiculous resolve matched by no one.
In battle Kalos embraces adaptability, versatility and the instinct to observe over anything else. His fighting style matches this forethought heavily. He has pioneered his fighting style to observe everything and be able to react and adapt to it. His own movements are swift and precise lethal when executed properly. The versatility stems from the thought of being formless, and unique. He absorbs what is useful, discards what is not and adds what is uniquely his own.

Universal One
Universal One is a semblance that is shared with his uncle Kadyr. According to him it is a power that derives from life itself. It allows the user to use natural surrounding energy and life energy to empower oneself. By using one's own life energy it grants momentary super strength at destructive levels, speed and defense. Kalos is capable of releasing attacks so fast and powerful that it releases wind pressured shock waves along with destructive life energy in a golden color that matches his aura. He is also capable of channeling this power to coat his body to defend against attacks, and move at high speeds.
It's separate uses
Damage- By focusing energy to any body part he chooses Kalos is can release a shockwave of life energy. It can be used up close or from afar. It does up to 20 unresisted damage for 20 aura.
Defense- By coating his body with energy he is able to defend up to 20 points of damage for 20 aura.
Buff- Channeling energy throughout his body he capable of boosting any stat by 2 points for 10 aura per post active.

Prometheus -
After his uncle Kadyr took off Kalos's arm and leg, he had a replacement done for both. Designed by his Uncle Tesla named by Kalos. They come together in a set and are both rather heavy to the average individual, but Kalos has gotten completely used to the weight and function. He actually doesn't find them to be that heavy at all do to his unnatural strength. Because he's been handling both limbs since he was young and going through constant modifications throughout the years his proficiency with them is rather high. Launching attacks with all four of his limbs has come natural to him, but he tends not to use his right arm or left leg unless he thinks his opponent can handle it do to the added power they provide. Because of the functions of these prosthetic limbs they are equivalent to weapons such as swords and hammers.

Born into the Arsène family Kalos's childhood upbringing was a tough but pleasant one. Living up to the traditions and expectations of the Arsène name is what made it rather tough especially for young mind with a pattern of free thought and expression, Kalos didn't quite 'fit' into the traditional militant family. Though this didn't shun him out completely, but rather made him more abstract and stand out-ish. While most of the other children in the Arsène family and connected to it were taking early combat lessons. Kalos would rather go on imaginative adventures as Captain Goldbeard ruler of the nine seas, who takes what he wants when he wants it and looks back. Through much convincing he would get the other kids to play with him on these adventures which often led to the damage of an small Arsène airship that would anger the parents and Kalos's father Kouen the most. Kouen Arsène is stern, serious and a powerful man of very little jokes. He is a militant man and no longer spares the time for any fun.
Kouen takes the forefront in leading the Arsène name. Despite his seriousness his wife Tsira says he used to be a very loving man. Tsira Elto and Kouen Arsène were married through an arrangement of both families. In order to join both the combat militant prowess of the Arsène family and the more magic, science and dust philosophers of the Elto family. Despite their marriage being arranged Kouen and Tsira are in love though they may bump heads when it comes to raising their children and many people would say that Kouen has changed throughout the years.
After every hard lecture and training from his father, Tsira is always there to give a mother's love to Kalos. Always instilling in him the acts of being humble, kind, passionate but yet strong and confidence at the same time. Most would say that Kalos got his easy going but thirst for adventure personality from his mother, though physically he looks just like his father did when he was young. His older sister Kuri is quite the opposite her personality is closer to Kouen's all business no joke. She is always rather hard on Kalos making sure he always completed his training to perfection, with her own additions claiming "Her little brother will not be the weakest in the Arsène household."
But that was her way of showing that she does indeed care for Kalos. Just like both sides of his grandparents and all his cousins, uncles and aunts. They all had their own way of showing they cared, and would always protect him.
Or at least try to.
The family Kalos has is rather large but no one ever spoke of Kouen's older brother Kadyr. Most saying that he was exiled for good reason and left it at that. But the history of Kadyr never seemed to escape from the young eleven year old Kalos. But that would be a lesson he would learn very soon.
On the night of his parents anniversary celebration the entire family flew out to one of their private islands for food and dance. With everyone in good spirits even Kouen for one night he gave himself time off from his work. But suddenly the joyous celebration would come to a crashing end. A large Grimm Dragon came crashing down on the island with 5 airships behind it. It was only for a moment that Kouen met the eyes of the masked man on the giant beast, but in that moment he knew it was his brother Kadyr. He shouted his brother's name as the family and his men clashed into battle! Tsira searching helplessly for Kalos who was off by the waters. He would have to cross through the small forests in order to get back to the housing. Gen Kalos's cousin came to Tsira promising to find Kalos and bring him back safely to lessen her worries. So she could focus on the battle at hand. The battles continued and many of the housing were now set ablaze.
But it was Tsira who put it out all the flames using powerful water dust spells and drove off half of Kadyr's men.
Kadyr knowing when a battle is lost fled with his men. But not before he paid his little nephew a visit. During the time Kalos's cousin Gen was able to find him and was bringing him back to his parents. But Kadyr and Kalos were linked in some way by having very similar semblances. Kadyr always knew where Kalos was and suddenly appeared before Gen and Kalos with a astonishing burst of speed. "Hello Nephew."
Before Kalos knew it Gen was knocked unconscious and sent flying into a boulder leaving Kalos to fend for the both of them. They started a little battle Kalos giving it all he had, but Kadyr just testing his capabilities. Gen was able to get a signal out to the rest of the family of their location. Knowing that Kadyr would eventually get bored of testing Kalos and actually harm him. So Gen did his best to get up again and muster a voice to distract Kadyr only to get a knocked out again.
Kalos now in furry unleashes his semblance at Kadyr actually harming him. This angered Kadyr and he lost all restraint...
It had to be just a few minutes later, but a few minutes to late. The entire main family of Arsene and Alto arrived at the scene seeing a unconscious Kalos with his right arm and left leg completely cut off. Horrified by what they saw Tsira let out a loud scream in agony. Seeing the state her son was in. Gen's body near lifeless. The entire family fell silent the only thing heard in through the night skies were the crying screams of a mother.
6 Years Later...
Kalos had his limbs replaced with artificial limbs crafted by the Elto family, and throughout the years he trained his body to handle the weight of the replacements and his semblance. Building up a beyond amazing level of strength. Though the incident in his past was rather tragic to some, it barely effected his personality. He was still the same Kalos who was glad that all his loved ones survived. He enrolled in Syne Academy with the same attitude just wanting to be the best hero he can be.

"Hello nephew." Kadyr said Kalos with a menacing voice. Gen stepped in front of him with his sword in hand ready to protect his little cousin at all costs. Kadyr grimaced while looking at Gen. "Aaah the Elto house, you and your stubborn ways." With a flicker of movement Kadyr landed a powerful punch to the gut of Gen a shockwave burst of power coming from the other side of Gen then he was launched crashing into a large boulder unconscious.
Kadyr then focused on Kalos with a smile. "My dear nephew Kalos Eidos Arsène, Kouen did well naming you. Bearing the name of our great great grandfather Eidos Arsène. But Kal-"
"My mother named me Kalos." Kalos interrupted his voice full of fear but his bravery remaining intact. He was more nervous if his cousin Gen was alright then about his safety.
"Kalos Eidos rather smart...Tsira always had a way with naming things." he said with a grin. "But we don't have much time nephew to go over family names and history. There is much you must know which I'm sure your father has yet to tell you. To be honest I only came here for you."
During this time Gen who had just awoken sent a message to Kouen alerting him that Kadyr hasn't left and is attacking Kalos in the forest. He got to his knees pointing his sword at Kadyr. "Leave him alone Kadyr!" Kadys sighed and before Kalos could even see what was going on, Kadyr had his foot to Gen chest smashing him into the boulder again. Angering Kalos he rushed towards Kadyr with his body ready. Everything in form, everything he was taught for this moment defending himself and his family.
Seeing young Kalos rushing at Kadyr ammused him. He effortlessly swayed and knocked away Kalos's blows. "Yes come at me little Kalos! Let us see where you stand." With a quick parry from his hand Kadyr landed back hand hit on Kalo's chest having Kalos fall to the ground in pain.
"Aaahh good good, your form is good. Pivot from your right leg and hit with left arm. All the basic moves and combos they teach in that house. You've learned the Arsène arts well my boy." Kadyr said with a grin.
"But lets get serious."
Trivia & Author's Notes
- Kalos Eidos Arsène was named by his mother, who took special time in naming him. Kalos is Greek for beautiful and Eidos is Greek for Form + scope. Also his great great great grandfather on his father's side was named Eidos. But combining the two making Kalos+eidos where the English word Kaleidoscope derives from. A kaleidoscope is a constantly changing pattern or sequence of objects or elements. She felt this name was proper for Kalos when as a baby his interests were always changing with the colors and environment around him. Even to this day Kalos's persona and fighting style reflects his name as his interests and patterns of movement constantly change.
- Kalos Eidos basically meaning beautiful form is a reference to Kalos natural talent in martial arts. Plus his flow of mind being rather a positive always willing to see the beauty in things.
- The Arsène house is a reference to Arsène Lupin a fictional gentlemen thief and master of disguise. The history of the Arsène family has been said to rise in power do to their stealing and disguised ways. Though now a true house it has long forgotten that system. Kalos himself though takes an interest in stealing which ties to his last name.
- Kalos's name was gonna originally be Elso Tsira Arsène. As a reference to the philosopher Aristotle, spelled backwards and broken in two. But it was decided best to split the name for his mother Tsira and the Elto house she comes from.
- The Elto house is based on philosophy and science. Much like Aristotle and what he based his studies on. Though both the Arsène house and Elto house take a hand in tutoring Kalos.
- Kalos's favorite number is 100
- His favorite dish is Sweet Hawaiian pot chicken with brown rice and plantains
- He named his prosthetic limbs after his favorite Greek God Prometheus.
- He likes to read stories on ancient heroes in his past time. Especially from Greek, Norse, and Egyptian mythologies. His favorite story being the Trick at Mecone. The story of Prometheus tricking Zeus for manking's benefit.
