- Overall Personality:
- Inori is typically described as friendly, calm and focused. She spent a good majority of her life as a shut-in, never socializing but after moving she opened up more and she hasn’t regretted it. She now enjoys social interactions and talking with people. Inori is a good friend and great listener. However, Inori still has stints of being crass and rude. Inori’s humor is mostly dry sarcasm which can irritate others but she usually means nothing by it.
Inori is considered brilliant, she is extremely smart and not just in the book sense. She picks up on social cues very quickly and can adapt to her situations with relative ease. Inori is driven, especially in her pet projects which include but are not limited to her Weapon and Tactical Pad, she's always trying to improve what she has built to be better. Once she sets upon a project she is passionate about she can spend hours on hours working on it. She carries this same passion into battle which makes her fierce but a poor leader, her emotions typically dictate her actions even though she always attempts to keep her head cool.
Lastly, Inori's fears are constant considering one of them is "Not Being Good Enough" she always has this present in the forefront of her mind, it's always present because she pushes herself so much, this can take a toll on her and it's most evident the more stressed out she becomes which is natural among most people, her happy and friendly personality might as well be nullified if she's stressed, her temper is short and she snaps but once she calms down she recovers quickly.
Abilities
Aura type: Healing
Aura Color: Desire
Semblance: Light and Shadow
- Semblance Explanation:
- Overview: Inori can use the power of the Light or Shadows depending on the environment/situation.
Light Form: Inori channels her Semblance and calls upon the protection of the Light, she can heal her allies with this ability. (Every 30 Aura for 20 HP or 10 HP with Multiple People)
Shadow Form: Inori harness the power of darkness with her Semblance and can strike enemies from a distance. (20 DMG Max)(10m Max)
Note!: There must be some presence of each source for each side of the Semblance to work. Therefore, Shadow Form wouldn't work without some access to darkness and Light Form can't work without a source of natural light, therefore it doesn't work in pitch darkness.
Item 1: Inori's Sword
Item 2: Hard Light Armor
- Item Explanations:
- 1: Inori’s Sword is a shock blade of her own creation, its electricity function can be turned on and off.
2: Inori's Hard Light Armor was the result of a dream, allergy medicine and more sleepless nights. The actual armor is only in beta but it works rather well as a resilient base to physical attacks. (Swords, Bullets, Hand to Hand, other melee or ballistic based weapons)[Increase Defense] The Armor can be accessed from her Tactical Pad and turned on or off via that device.
History and Sample
- History:
- Birth-Early Life (1-13)
Inori was born on March-3rd, she was born in a large mansion within the city center of Atlas. She was born to Maria and Taro Eirwen. Her Father was the son of a wealthy noble that was rather good for nothing except flirting with other women. He inherited his Family’s fortune as the eldest child. Inori’s Mother, on the other hand, was a genius, she was always tinkering and working on some crazy project, so much so that she was rather sparse in Inori’s life. She eventually was hired by a local weapons company in Atlas, drafting and working on whatever she was hired to do.
Inori led a pretty tough young life, her Father stayed at home and attempted to raise her but she was rather stubborn and hard to work with. All through school she was antisocial and didn’t make friends easily. She rather would spend her time locked in her room reading and studying. In an effort to make her more outgoing her Father started taking her to dance which she resented despite having a seemingly natural talent at it. She would eventually learn to love dance as a form of stress reliever. Inori quickly rose to the top of her classes in elementary school and dance, she seemed to excel in her studies and accelerated past her classmates which in turn isolated her even more. This didn’t bother her much, while she felt deep inside of her she was missing out by always spending her time alone she enjoyed burying herself deep in her work. Around the age of 11, her Mother finally took noticed of her prowess around machines and gadgets and finally started hanging around more. Inori’s mother started teaching her more advanced and nit-picky methods, despite her Mother’s happiness in working with her daughter, Inori was less than thrilled. She held a grudge that her Mother was never around and seemed to only be taking an interest in her now that she had similarities and some use to her. Inori suffered through her Mother’s teachings for two years but expanded her knowledge before her family was forced to move due to her Mother getting a better position at a new company. At 13 years old, Inori left her old life behind and moved to an island just south of Atlas called Bellmuse.
Teens-Present (13-19)
After arriving in Bellmuse Inori had to drop everything, what little friends she had, her home, dance… everything. She had to completely start over. Inori took this happily and in stride, though, she learned enough dance to continue practicing on her own and she completely overhauled her personality, she attempted to be more opening, more accepting. After spending most of her life with RBF (Resting Bi*** Face) she started smiling more. Her Father noticed the change and even their relationship improved greatly, she related with him so much better. Unfortunately not everything was sunshine and roses, her Mother who still wanted to keep training Inori found that her daughter had made more friends since moving to Bellmuse and had little time to spend in a workshop and would rather spend time outside hanging out with her peers. This frustrated her Mother as Inori who still plenty interested in inventing things… just not with her. Her Mother started shutting herself in her workshop, day and night sometimes not even coming home.
As time passed Inori’s Mother started coming home less and less until one day around when Inori was 15 she stopped coming home at all. Inori gladly accepted this change as her Mother had grown more and more hostile over the past two years. She figured that her initial suspicions about her Mother only taking interest in her because of seemingly similar career path were correct, Inori cast her out of her life but still held a grudge, she always wanted to one up her Mother, even with her not around. Without her Mother, constantly over her shoulder, she continued to study and it re-sparked her passion for her own projects. One of which was a Tactical Datapad that would slip over the user’s forearm, it was a project that was originally thought up by her Mother but was scrapped in alpha stages as being “Inefficient”. Inori hardly thought so, she modified it and it eventually became functional, while basic it got the job done without many bugs. Proud of her success she decided to visit her Mother at her work, mostly as a sign of showing off, doing something her Mother considered a waste of time, what better way to assert herself and “win”?
The very next day Inori headed towards her Mother’s building, she entered and when she asked for her Mother the clerk at the counter informed her that her Mother no longer worked for them. Confused, Inori asked for details. The clerk just shrugged and said that her Mother had quit and left a few months back, hadn’t seen her since. Inori simply nodded at the news and left frustrated. Even not on purpose, her Mother evaded her and despite the growing rift that was obviously between them she left without even saying goodbye! Not to her or her Father as when she confronted him that night, he was also rather surprised but didn’t ask any further questions and continued making dinner. He seemed unaffected by the news. Inori thought of trying to figure out what happened but then she realized as she looked at the Tac-Pad that was still on her arm, that she didn’t care. Her Mother wouldn’t have looked for her, it didn’t matter and it was time to move on which she did although she still harbors that resentment within her.
Inori’s birthdays came and went as she continued school, she was actually offered a job at the very same company that her Mother use to work for, which she accepted, to her it was just another victory and the money was nice. At the age of 17, Inori was taught how to defend herself, Bellmuse wasn’t as secure as the other Large Kingdoms and the chances of Grimm were significantly higher. During this training she discovered her Semblance which was the power of Light and Shadows, fitting she felt given her overhaul in herself between Atlas and Bellmuse. However Inori soon also realized as a slightly skinnier female her physical attacks wouldn’t defend herself very well, she devised a weapon to help her. She spent the next few months building, destroying, building and repeating until she came up with her Stormblade. A sword that shocked with the power of thunder, a perfect tool for Inori and her best work yet, in her opinion. At the age of 19 Inori enrolled at the local Huntsmen Academy, Syne Academy. This required her to leave her post at work but she left with no ill will and good relations, they insisted that their lab was always open to her. Inori’s Father was worried of course but she assured him that she’d be fine, she had her training, her inventions, and her intellect. She was ready, ready to make a difference.

- Inori was up in her room which was a complete cluster. Unlike most girls who stereotypically kept their room’s cleaned, dusted and vacuumed Inori’s was the exact opposite, it wasn’t messy in the fact that you couldn’t walk but the overflowing trash can, the multiple open journals scattered about and of course the array of parts and components that seemed to spill over on most surfaces. The only tidy area was her bed which had followed the girly girl stereotype as the bedspread was bright pink with white stripes. On top of the bed’s sheets was a suitcase, black and medium sized, the cream hair teen was sorting through clothes and folding them into the bag. She had a red t-shirt in her hand and she frowned and tossed it aside, 'not that one'she murmured to herself. She then grabbed a pair of white leggings and nodded at them approvingly before folding them neatly. She sighed as she looked at how many more options she had left. There were shirts, pants, sweaters, jewelry, hats, shoes and of course beauty products. As she was about to pick up another shirt a knock on the door stopped her.
“Inori? Can I come in sweetie?” it was her Father on the other side of the wooden barrier.
“Of course!” was her response and the door opened. Walking in was a tall man with black combed hair, a white polo, jeans and medium build, her Father. He looked about the room and she could tell he didn’t exactly like what he saw but he kept quiet as he smiled at her, it was a sad smile. She wasn’t packing for the fun of it, of course, tomorrow was the day she’d leave for Syne Academy which she had recently been accepted into. She stopped packing and looked at him, her face was serious but her eyes had a teasing gleam to them.
“Can I help you?” she said, he laughed.
“I just can’t believe it… you’re going off on your own, seems only yesterday I was changing ---”
“Daaaad….” she groaned in annoyance, even if just her and him in the room Inori didn’t want a recollection of her baby years. Her Father laughed harder at her discomfort.
“I’m sorry… I’m sorry,” he said regaining his composure but still had a smile on his face which quickly was replaced by a frown. He seemed deep in thought before hugging his daughter. Inori didn’t resist or anything but was taken off guard. “I just worry...that’s all and of course I’ll miss you.” Inori hugged her Father back. He would eat dinner alone, he wouldn’t be able to go out with her and shop or watch movies with her when she wasn’t home, the thought saddened Inori as well but she masked it as she backed out of his grasp.
“I’m only 20 minutes away, it’s not like I can’t come visit you.” she was glum, she knew that she would visit him but she would miss him. They had gotten a lot closer ever since her Mother left.
“I know… it’s my job to be concerned, though.” he nodded. Inori turned and grabbed her blade and tactical pad from her desk behind her, she showed her Father. She lit the blade up and slipped the pad on her left wrist. She twirled in front of him and posed, her aura slightly lit up around her form and her blade crackled with electricity running over the metal. She looked at him confidently and he grinned, she turned off her blade and placed it in the suitcase, she also did the same thing with her tactical pad. This time, she was the one who hugged him, she loved him very much.
“Why don’t we watch a movie? Your choice.” Inori suggested with a smile. He patted her shoulder and kissed her forehead, he clearly appreciated her offer. They broke apart from the hug and went out the door together. Inori left the suitcase open, half packed, some things were simply more important and others could be set aside for later.

- Tactical Pad Explanation :
- The Tactical Pad is also another creation of Inori's. Originally a design based off an alpha by her mother it hooks up to her scroll so she can easily monitor her Aura.
