Hi, I'm that nervous kid from down the block. I love RWBY and I've RPed before, but I still suck. I'll try my best not to disappoint though!

Yeah about that. Teams are decided informally near as I can tell, so if you want one you'll need either look through the forums for an open spot or start a thread stating you're looking for a team.
