A day at the beach was supposed to be fun. Noire had heard that it involved sand castles, snow angels, playing with balls (of the beach kind) and lounging about under the sun. When Syne had assigned her to go there for the day, she hadn't been expecting to need her armor and dust and weapons... wasn't she supposed to be in a bathing suit? The young girl pouted. Of course her first trip had to be a mission. Not only that, but the instructions had been vague - Exterminate the Grimm. Quantity: Undetermined. So in other words, this was bound to go on for a while. Likely until the sun went down and all beach activities were long over. It had her in a bit of a bad mood, or as much as Noire suffered from any of those. Usually, it was little more than a tantrum and a pout, followed by indistinct muttering and the occasional passive aggressive yell. It was a little worse when she was in private and no one was really paying attention. Such was the case right now, as her bear feet left small footprints in the sand every time she inched closer to her destination.
It was one of the more deserted parts of the beach, though the occasional citizen did pop by every now and then thinking they could outsmart the crowds and spend the day in a more private location. It was that way for a reason, though - Grimm sightings tended to happen around there. Noire only hoped that no one thought of anything like that today. Syne had probably given off a warning to stay away, right? If not, Noire was in for an even worse afternoon, the poor girl. At least it meant company...? She thought, trying to see the silver lining. No, that didn't work. Any normal people that ended up here were more likely to end up as a kebab than anything else.
With that in mind, the white haired girl drew hear weapon - a giant sword that was almost as tall as she was. She slipped a vial of wind dust inside for preparation. She wouldn't use it outright, but it was best to be prepared. After all, she had no idea what kind of armor or skills this thing would have. Heck, she didn't even know what kind of creature she should be expecting. Oh well. It was best to get stared right? The sooner this was over, the sooner she could get to town and maybe buy herself a milkshake or something.
