Overall Personality:
Erin is an analytical individual preferring to think things through before taking action. In fact, she sometimes thinks too much that she strays from the conversation and finds herself dazed. This results in her tiring out her brain and falling asleep when she finds the time for it. She isn't a very vocal person when it comes to herself, preferring to keep things inside than to express them which results in Erin often appearing cold. She also couldn't help that she was born with a resting bish face.
Heavily relying on her sight, Erin has a keen sense of perception. She's able to notice small gestures and facial twitches along with changes in breathing rate. Within a crowd of fans, she could spot individuals who were bored and would do something to address the issue. This allows her to be empathetic of people around her. However, Erin is that type of person who is oblivious of emotions that are directed specifically to her. Combined with her cool demeanour and tactless attitude, Erin appears unapproachable most of the times.
Deep inside though, she's a kind-hearted person who cares about people and goes out of her way to help if she could. While often mild, Erin can appear weird in certain situations. Born with a high IQ had its perks and disadvantages. For one, she doesn't lock doors. Some of her odd habits also slip when she's dazing or is distracted. In short, Erin is just a ball of weird fluff.
Abilities
Aura type: Recovery
Aura Color: Lavender
Semblance: Teleportation – the ability to teleport anywhere within 10 metres of her sight; can teleport up to one person with her.
Item 1: Deus Ex Machina: Dual Fountain Pens
A necessity to all idols: a handy pen to sign autographs with! These pens double as a weapon to use for fighting grimms with a special mechanism that solidifies the liquid ink into small highly corrosive needle-like projectiles capable of melting an object upon contact - akin to that of acid. The other end of the pen acts as the trigger that allows the needles to be shot from the nib tip of the device. There is an optional ring lock that fastens around the user's middle finger and onto the body of the pen to prevent it from slipping from their grip. Twisting the cap clockwise will adjust the colour of ink to be used, while counterclockwise will activate the flashlight feature at the post end of the pen.
Specs:
- 20 acid-ink needle shots per cartridge
- fully-automatic release (ie. continuously sends out pins as long as the trigger is held)
- powerful recoil (due to air pressure released with each pin sent out)
- comes with black, red, green, silver and purple inks~

Item 2: Reinforced Leather Coat (Physical Armour)
- Spoiler:
Miscellaneous Item: Voice-to-Text wrist watch
In combat mode, the device transcribes human voice waves into texts which are then displayed on the screen of the watch. A small vibration will alert the user when a new voice has been transcribed. It can only recognise human voice and will not react to any other form of sound. In neutral mode, the watch will vibrate when the codewords 'Erin' or 'Cross' are recognised.
History and Sample
- History:
- Erin was born a child prodigy - a natural genius possessing an IQ of over 200. Her parents weren't gifted and she had no relatives to have inherited such trait, thus they dismissed it as a a genetic mutation. She grew up under a fairly wealthy upbringing from an old-noble family in the Kingdom of Atlas. However, she was different from children of her age. She couldn't speak and only communicated through notes. She had weird habits of putting clothes backwards and lacked knowledge of basic things such as how to turn the faucet or how to open locked doors. At the same time, she excelled in school so much that she skipped grades ahead. By the age of 8, she was in high-school. This, coupled with her weird habits, caused her to suffer from bullying.
Isolated and shunned away, Erin found company in the comfort of music. With her superior intelligence and lack of social life, she was able to learn multiple instruments within a short period of time, even addressing her vocal issues. By the age of 11, she finished high school and pursued the music industry where, for the first time, she was accepted for who she was. She trained under a major label for two years before she was debuted as an idol. And it was successful. She rose to fame and was the centre of the media.
However, a year later, a major incident caused her hearing to deteriorate. She didn't inform anyone other than her manager. Her passion for music as well as a drive to achieve a new goal made her adapt to the situation. With the aid of her manager, she learned to sing through feeling. The sound of the notes were embedded on her mind and she could hear them play in her head, allowing her to alter and compose music even without hearing them. She learned to study sound waves in general, going into depths with everything she needed to know before her hearing was entirely lost.
By age 15, Erin was deaf. But her career continued, going stronger than ever by utilising Atlas' advanced technology to prep her stage to suit her needs. Like this, she continued being an idol without exposing her disability. But she also had another goal in mind and that was to become a huntress. What she lacked in hearing she made up with enhancing her eyes. She learned how to lipread, her speed reading became five times faster, her eyes were able to adjust quickly to the dark and her general perception of things around her was enhanced, enabling her to see the battlefield through a simulated bird's eye view.
Erin was 17 when she finally decided to move to Bellmuse. No one knew the reason why since it had was connected to the incident responsible for her loss of hearing. Her fans concluded it was her way of expanding her influence, but they were surprised when she enrolled in Syne the following year.
Erin planned to balance her huntress training and idol life by attending Syne during the weekdays and going on her schedules during the weekends.

- “Erin.. Hey Erin.”
A tap on the shoulder and Erin Cross blinked, tearing her gaze away from the book in hand. She glanced at the person beside her and took out one of her earphones. “Yes?”
“I've been calling you for 5 minutes now, jeez.”
“Sorry, earphones,” Erin said with a grin. “Anyway, what is it?”
“One of the underclassmen is too shy to ask you for an autograph, so she asked me instead.” The girl said and handed Erin a CD.
The idol looked down at the silver casing of the disk and managed to let out a small smile. It was her very first album. It's been a while since anyone's asked her to autograph a former cd. Usually it's the latest ones that she had to sign on. It brought a sense of nostalgia but at the same time, made her wonder why this person chose this album instead of the more recent ones. Taking out her fountain pen from her breast pocket, she twisted the cap. The ink of the pen then switched to that of a marker which she used to write on the CD.
“Woah, that's a cool pen!” The girl beside her said. She almost missed her words had her peripheral vision not done its job. Erin merely gave a small smile and finished writing on the CD. She stood up and took her bag.
“Where is this underclassman? I want to give it to her myself.” Erin stated but she didn't have to wait for a response for she noticed a head peeking from the side of the classroom door.
Chuckling, she made her way outside and nonchalantly handed the disk to the trembling girl. “Here you go. Have a good day now.”
Erin turned around and was about to leave when she felt a tug on her sleeve. She glanced over her shoulder towards the girl who was now holding out a small box wrapped in a red ribbon.
“Ah. You didn't have to, really.” Erin hesitantly took the present. Unwrapping it, she was genuinely surprised to see a fancy looking wrist watch resting inside.
“I-It's not a normal watch. I h-hope it can be of use to you...” she said before dashing away.
Pushing confusion aside, Erin took the watch and booted it on. She wasn't prepared for what she discovered next: it was a voice-to-text wrist watch.
Her eyes widened and stared at the empty hall where the girl had just been.
Did that girl...? Did that girl know her secret?
