A Rather Marsh-less Mellow All Hallow's Eve [Hunt, Sammey White, Open]

You wouldn't think that dressing up for Trick-or-Treating when there was no actual Trick-or-Treating to be had would be Akui's style, and normally you would be right, however her interesting relationship with Riley resulted in being convinced to dress-up by a couple of fans of the red chick, though she didn't really take their suggestions.

They had made a lot of stupid suggestions like being a fairy, or some sort of princess, or a cute cat outfit  or whatever...but all of the costume ideas seemed less costume and more like some weird taboo thing. One of the more reserved girls mumbled something about surprising Riley with a dominatrix costume, and after a quiet moment, the other girls rejoiced and agreed. That's when Akui sighed and just left the idiots to their own wiles.

Akui would have left it there and not dressed up in all honesty had the academy not offered a bit of an extra cash in so long as the hunts were done in full Halloween spirit and dress...and Akui loved money more than most things, so she put some time and a bit of effort into looking like a zombified, less-well-kept version of herself. It was definitely rather spooky, it being night time and all.

She rather enjoyed the darkness and loneliness of the woods, not having to bother with anything or anyone, and she sat to rest atop a hallow log as she waited for her prey to come to her.

Costume:

As the sun was coming up and in to the room and hit Sammey's sleeping face. She pulled the covers over her face to hind form the sun. Than her scroll started to go off waking her up, than out form the covers her hand than arm poked out looking for the scroll. It was a message form her older sister reminding her to dress up in her little Costume. Sammey read it and sleepy nodded and tryed to go back to sleep but sadly her alarm started to go off. The sound of the alarm made her jump and she turned it off and got up and showered and dressed in her Costume.

As she was walking out form her class she got another message. she was to go on a hunt in the woods tonight and join someone and looked at the time she was to lave it was soon. Sammey didn't have time to change out of her Costume and get her bow and arrows. She ran and garbed her bow and arrows and left out the room running to the wood's Sammey was giggling a little this  reminded her of a kids story form way back. She was in the trees hoping form tree to tree to try and find the person faster than she seen something it looked like a person so she jumped down.

There wasn't to much light on the person so Sammey slowly walked to it "Hel-hello a-ar-are yo-you los......" As she was able to see the person. She seen a Zombie and let out a ear busting high pitch scream "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and ran into a tree knocking her self out.

Scarlett had always had a hard time deciding whether or not she liked Halloween. When she was growing up, her grandfather however loved the holiday and that meant enjoying playing rather cruel pranks on the redhead when she was younger. From falling fake spiders when she entered their workshop or simply popping out with a bedsheet on his head and surprising her. That was something that certainly didn't help the poor girl get over her anxiety and shyness. However, there was one part about the holiday that she adored. She got to dress up for just one night and pretend to be someone that she never was. She got the chance to be someone cool, even! Not many things in life could have matched up to the giddy excitement that Scarlett had when she was deciding what to go as for the next Halloween.

It certainly didn't take her long to decide this year, however. And she was more than excited to show off what she was planning to wear. Or she was until she got the message that there was going to be a hunt that night. Scarlett was moderately disappointed, but figured that it would have been a better use of her time anyways. Helping out people fight was far more important than a costume party that she most likely wouldn't have really participated in anyways... plus, going in costume was actually rewarded, so even that's a plus! Strapping on her boots and ensuring her holster was tightened to her waist, she was heading out not too long afterwards.

It was already dark out, it seemed, a fact that made the shy girl shiver with just a slight amount of fear. Sure, she faced down a powerful King without even flinching, but the dark was something that she just couldn't handle. Her aura began to seep from her as she activated her semblance, her eyes beginning to glow pink and seem to have misty trails come from them as she looked around the area. This certainly calmed her down a bit, but the feeling of being along did well to still make her nervous. However, it wasn't long before, with the use of her semblance, she managed to find two forms in the forest that were quite obviously not Grimm of any sort. She began to make their way towards them before she heard Sammey's scream once she was close enough to make out the forms.

Scarlett let out a soft screech of her own, certainly not at ear piercing, but just enough to make the duo aware that she was around. While she was screaming, her body reacted in its own way, reaching down in a matter of a second to pull out and aim her handgun. With the current situation, it would be quite clear that she was actually wearing a cowgirl outfit, her revolver seeming to match the motif quite well. She aimed it at the zombie on the bench, narrowing her eyes as she looked over the costumed woman, "W-wait... you're not..." she lowered her shoulders, knowing enough about Halloween to assume that this wasn't an actual zombie and most likely someone in a costume that scarred someone as a prank. She did keep her gun raised on Akui though, not wanting to let her guard down too much.

Cowgirl Outfit:

A single Creep let out a low growl, causing a visible cloud of vapor to exit its massive maw before it dissipated into the thin air.  The creature could smell the blood of the last huntsman it had just attacked in it's own breath.  The beast didn't manage to kill the weakling, but even a dull witted Creep could guess that huntsman wouldn't be able to get far with such a horrific wound.  Licking the blood off of it's teeth, the lone Grimm slowly lumbered it's way through the forest, it's dark body almost completely hiding it on this night.  Only the white armor on his head and glowing red eyes gave away it's position, but that didn't really matter at this time, nor did the Creep care.  All it wanted to do was devour another puny two legged creature.

The sound of a scream from nearby drew the foul beast's attention and it's mouth started to water.  Screaming coming from a creature of light... such a sound was music to this old grimm's ears.  If only it could hear that same scream while it sunk it's teeth into the weakling, then the Creep would actually be sated, at least for an hour or two.  It quickly ran on it's two legs towards the sound, and saw a woman lying on the ground, not moving.  Too bad, the Creep wanted to hear it scream while it ate her.  Hopefully it would wake up when it started.  Mouth watering to the point the the Grimm was drooling, it lunged forwards mouth wide open and snapped it's massive maw shut, attempting to bite a chunk out of the downed girl.  The foul creature didn't even bother looking to see if it was even alone!

Spoiler:

Akui was rather relaxed half-leaning, half-laying on this rather nice log she found...but as fate would have it, she was never meant to relax around this academy and the people within it. Being in her normal cloudy stupor of a mindset, she couldn't even hear the poor girl speaking to her before, although she did notice her presence: timid and rather pathetic, but also kind of sweet and beautiful in it's own way. That was all erased after a scream so high-pitched and broke through her stupor and actually hurt her ears rang out of what she could only assume was the same person, and then the pickup of fast-moving feet, the awkward concerto ended by a rather loud thud. Akui heard another scream off in the distance, and the sigh that escaped her lips signaled the fact that she was just about to get up and help the poor girl when she sensed another presence.

Akui casually opened her eyes and looked at a new girl she hadn't seen at the academy before...which was a given, due to her lack of social desire. She had an odd shade of pink for her hair, something that Akui could appreciate a bit...but she was dressed up as a female cowboy, and Akui wasn't sure she agreed with her tastes when it came to costumes. To top it off, she was pointing a gun at her...which would scare your average lame human, but not Akui.

'Don't point your gun at someone unless you intend to shoot and kill the motherf******. Pointing your gun at someone for any other reason shows weakness...to any s***head with half a f****** brain.' she told the girl casually as she gradually got up to her feet and pushed the girl's gun away from her face.

She then slowly sulked to where she had heard the loud thud, and found what must have been the previous girl. It appeared that she ran into the tree directly in front of her unconscious body, and she was wearing some sort of Red Riding Hood getup.

Akui just shook her head and sighed, then bent down in preparation to pick up and shake the living crap out of the dumb girl...and that's when she noticed the Creep about to take a huge chunck out of the stupid girl's leg. Instead of shaking her awake, Akui picked her up by the hood and slung her behind her, right into the path of the other girl. Then she pulled her left bracelet by the clasp and made it snap for it to bounce of the Creep's bone-head plating. It returned her way in the form of Agony, and she snatched it out of the air, then placed one foot on the bone plating and pushed off with a bit of a jump, covering about a three-foot distance by adding a small roll at the end. This placed her just behind the gun girl, and she fired two shots at the beast, aiming to give him something to snack on by trying to fire the shots down it's gullet.

The beast only had two legs, both hind ones. Akui deduced that there was no way this thing could climb, so she quickly yet gracefully as one could, climbed the nearest tree. Once positioned, she fired two more shots at the beast...but due to the darkness, she couldn't aim at any weakspots, so she did her best to even hit the beast by aiming where it's glowing red eyes were.

Damage:

As Sammey was out of it there was someone talking by the sound of it it sounded like a woman's voice. The sounded of someone talking was help bringing her to little by little. As she started to come more to something pull her by her little hood and tossed back some were. The pain form being tossed around by someone or something waking her up sooner as she holed her head with one of her arm's as she got up. The fist thing she seen was the Zombie fighting a grimm than behind her was someone dress as a cowgirl.

Sammey than bow off her bow form her back and than a arrow and got it ready to shot when there was a opening. Sammey than had a shot of pain go thou the back of her head form being tossed just a bit ago. She grabed the back of her head *I-i think i got up too fast after getting hit on the head.*
